Be warned, thar be spoilers below.

Game One - Centurylink Field, Seattle USA

While Team World got off to a flying start with 20 points scored in the first quarter to Team USA being shut out - they were unable to carry their momentum through the rest of the game as Team USA went on to score five touchdowns that World could only answer with field goals.

On the offensive side of the ball Havran saw the majority of the snaps for Team World and his results were lackluster, while Armstrong and Cue saw reasonable success while on the field. For Team USA Cole saw most of the snaps, but the story was not the same as Havran as he was an efficient performer alongside McDummy. Bigsby was 0/4 and failed to make an impact on the game.

On the ground we saw Torenson and Gump share the load for Team USA with a touchdown each, while their yards per carry weren't fantastic this could be attributed to an offensive line that struggled to handle the Team World Defense. On the other sideline Team World had Mendonca, Toriki and Yoda splitting carries and while Mendonca was the only one to reach the goal line, Toriki had an outstanding YPC of 7.1.

The receiving game was shared across the board for Team World, with only Rodriguez having more than two catches on the day and leading the team with 92 yards. Witheblock was the only one on Team World to score through the air in this game. For Team USA the passing was a bit more successful, seeing both Sauce and Mongo with over 5 catches and both Varga and Mongo having a score to their name, however Mongo was the clear standout in this one and offensive player of the game with 110 yards and a touchdown - averaging 22 yards per catch.

There's not a lot to say about the kicking game here, both kickers hit all their field goals - but we saw Alex D. with a rare missed extra point. Dougie Smalls must have been late to the game as Powers covered punting duties as well as kicking for this game, with a long of 72 yards and average of 49.8. McDairmid was no slouch either, averaging 40.6 and pinning one in the 20.

On the other side of the ball, the defense for Team World struggled to keep up with the air attack from Team USA and didn't manage to have any turnovers in this game. Virtanen was the standout with 9 tackles and 2 sacks along with a PD for World. Team USA had a similar amount of success on defense as this game ended up being a high scoring one - Green managed to take a pick back to the house for the only turnover and defensive score of the game, while the sim assigned DPOG to Virtanen with 9 tackles and two sacks, I'm giving this one to Green.

The offensive line for Team World showed out, with only Irving (a TE) allowing a sack in the game, and the five line starters collaborating for a total of 25 sacks, Forty-Two claiming 11 of them himself. Team USA saw greater numbers in the pancake game, with 30 pancakes - they also had a sack allowed by their starting guard Golladay, however he also managed 11 pancakes to his name.

Game 2 - BC Place, Vancouver Canada

Wow, what a nailbiter this game turned out to be - Team USA holding the lead for the entire game until there was only 21 seconds left - I don't know what kind of inspirational speech Team World got before the final drive but it seemed to work out as they brought the series to an even split and didn't let Team USA come away with the win on Team World's turf. Another reasonably high scoring game has left the fans pleased with their ticket purchase - there was no lack of offensive firepower here.

Team USA's QBs had another decent showing in terms of efficiency, with Bigsby taking the most snaps in this one and rewarding the team with two touchdowns. Team World had Havran shoulder the bulk of the load, and while he had a pretty rough game the winning touchdown came out of his hands, Armstrong and Cue were again the more efficient QBs, with Armstrong throwing two touchdowns in this one.

On the ground Team USA had Torenson and Gump share the carried 50/50 again, with Gump having more success this time with 90 yards and a touchdown off the back of a 6 yard per carry average. The Team World rushing attack saw Mendonca lead the charge again, with Toriki and Yoda backing up, however this time they weren't quite as successful - no scores for them this time and a long of 8 yards.

The receiving game was very different in this second game, seeing wide receivers only bring in a total of five passes for Team USA - the rest going to tight ends and running backs. Earl Sauce was the top ball catchy man again here with 5 for 34, McCormick and Torenson made their impact with a score each. Team World relied on their best receiver in Rodriguez as he hauled in 5 for a staggering 109 - earning himself the title of offensive player of the game. Larson, Irving and Lim brought in a touchdown each, with Lim hauling the game winner.

Another game without a lot of note on the kicking and special teams game, Powers missed a kick from 40+, and Alex D. split the uprights on all of his attempts. Smalls showed up for game two and averaged 45.9 with one landing in the 20, McDairmid continued a consistent performance with an average of 42.6.

For the Team USA Defense there were two clear standout players, Berry managed to make a game disrupting 20 tackles and Abernathy brought in two interceptions - I wouldn't usually award the defensive player of the game to the losing team, but Abernathy's stats kept Team USA in the game for longer than they had a right to hold on for so he takes it in this one. Only one sack from the USA side coming from their safety, Blaylock. Team World shared their defensive stats across the board with no major standout players, Brackenridge had the only tackle for loss on the team and sacks went to Biggums, Virtanen and Ocewilder. Unable to force a turnover for a second game straight, Team World will need to improve on that if they'd like to hold their own in the future of the series.

Not as much success for Team USA's offensive line in game two as they total 20 pancakes and allow 3 sacks to get through, it seems like this is an area for improvement in the future for their squad in an otherwise loaded team. Team World's offensive line were consistent on their pancake count, coming away with 24, but managed to avoid allowing a sack through in this game for a very impressive performance.

Summary
Across two loaded rosters Team USA and Team World brought us two nail biting, high scoring games where the result was never guaranteed until the final minutes, the series stands tied at 1-1 and the games in the future present a blank slate for either team to claim the international title.

I'd like to again take the time to thank a few people for helping put this together, @Daybe and @[iStegosauraz] - I couldn't have done this without your help and I appreciate you guys working with me to get strategies and rosters together that not only gave your teams a good chance for success, but also utilised most of the players on the roster and shared the playing time around. Shout out to @Colabear for sharing some of his streaming assets and giving advice to help the stream come out looking better than expected. Thanks to the unpaid volunteer players for unwillingly taking part in a game they weren't prepared for. Lastly thank you to everyone who watched the game and showed their support, because of you this is likely to turn into a regular feature in our offseason schedule. I look forward to doing this again next season and hope to see you all there!
