Why do we still have the Simmer's Corner forum? There hasn't been any updated information in there since 2018. At this rate it should either have a single topic linking to a special Simmer's discord, or it should just be removed all together.

Lots of unused threads/corners/whatevs in the forum, especially after discord became a used tool, HO knows about it, but not really a need to change stuff on jcink if the idea is to change hosting after all.

Take it from me-- do not delete historical stuff. Move them to an archive. When this is all over, you're gonna want to go back and look at things. One year, two years...ten years down the line when it's all said and done.

I agree with the rest. I think it would be totally fair to have some kind of spring cleaning, make sure all the relevant topics are pinned and other not so relevant ones anymore moved to a section. Like heck maybe no one visites it, but atleast it's there. Dont flat out delete the history.

When we moved SHL from jcink to mybb we had over 2 million posts. We decided to do a minor cleanup, but we targeted threads/forums that weren't sim related. We've now surpassed 2.5 million posts and the site is starting to slow down, we will be upgrading our server to make up for it, but cleaning up would help performance a lot. NSFL currently has 300k posts, so cleaning it up a bit might be good, but probably isn't necessary quite yet.
