*S17 NSFL Draft Hit, Miss, or Meh - DatSmolBoi - 09-01-2020

So one day, I was wondering around the internet when I decided to check my bank account to see if im in the negatives. Im in the negatives. So then im like "Well shit, guess I have to make another media." and thats when Youtube recommended me this NFL draft hit. miss, and meh video. Thats when I realized I can literally do this for the ISFL. And thats what im doing. Now give me money.

In the S16 NSFL Season the Austin Copperheads decided to go full tank mode and go 0-13 giving them the first pick in the season 17 ISFL Draft. And the first pick of the NSFL Draft the Austin Copperheads select....

Draftee: Ashley Owens

Position: RB
DSFL Team: San Antonio Marshalls/Minnesota Grey Ducks
College: Wisconsin
TPE Before: 267
TPE Now: 915
Peak TPE: 1032
Originally Drafted by: Austin Copperheads
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 1
Status: HIT!
HIT! After having two great seasons on the Austin Copperheads with winning OROY and Offensive flex spot in the NSFL Pro bowl he would be testing free agency where the Colorado Yeti would pick him up to their team where he would soon enough win a Ultimus Bowl!

In the Second Pick of the Season 17 NSFL Draft, the Colorado Yeti Selects...

Draftee: Bubba Thumper
Position: DT
DSFL Team: San Antonio Marshalls/Minnesota Grey Ducks
College: Tennessee
TPE Before: 226
TPE Now: 1243
Peak TPE: 1352
Originally Drafted by: Colorado Yeti
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 2
Status: HIT!
HIT! Thumper is currently #7 in the leagues TPE that doesn't even explain the rest of the things he has done in his successful career. He would soon win the Ultimus bowl with the #1 pick Ashley Owens.

In the third pick of the NSFL Draft, the New Orleans Second Line selects...

Draftee: Jordan Andrews
Position: CB
DSFL Team: Tijuana Luchadores
College: UCLA
TPE Before: 250
TPE Now: 562
Peak TPE: 705
Originally Drafted by: New Orleans Second Line
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 3
Status: Hit!
Hit! Sure he doesn't have as much TPE as the last two picks but seeing how he produces in games basically erases all of that. What Jordan Andrews does have in common though is that just like the last two picks, he has won a Ultimus bowl with New Orleans.

In the Fourth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Baltimore Hawks select....

 Draftee: Brayden Ennis
Position: DT
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Wyoming
TPE Before: 210
TPE Now: 810
Peak TPE: ??? (Not on TPE Tracker)
Originally Drafted by: Baltimore Hawks
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 4
Status: Meh
Brayden Ennis was a great player in the NSFL. Just not in New Orleans. In his first season he would get only 26 tackles and 3 sacks. Once again he was traded to the Copperheads where he was cut from the team and got signed to San Jose where he actually was good before he retired in S22.

In the Fifth pick in the NSFL Draft, the San Jose Sabercats select....

Draftee: Tyron Brackenridge
Position: S
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Maryland
TPE Before: 232
TPE Now: 1123
Peak TPE: 1240
Originally Drafted by: San Jose Sabercats
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 5
Status: HIT!
HIT! Brackenridge is still here and he is better than ever! 1123 TPE, 3 pro bowl seasons, and a LBoY nomination for this beast! Last year, he recorded 119 tackles for San Jose with 2 sacks and 1 interception as a linebacker. In other seasons, he would record double digit sacks or 13 passes deflected. Truly a Sabercat Legend.

In the sixth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Yellowstone Wraiths select....

Draftee: Mervin Leonard
Position: CB
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Kamloops Broncos
TPE Before: 217
TPE Now: 1112
Peak TPE: 1236
Originally Drafted by: Yellowstone Wraiths
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 6
Status: HIT!

In the Seventh Pick in the NSFL Draft, the Austin Copperheads select....

Draftee: Honda Edmond
Position: LB
DSFL Team: Tijuana Luchadores
College: Michigan
TPE Before: 177
TPE Now: 796
Peak TPE: 974
Originally Drafted by: Austin Copperheads
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 7
Status: Miss
Miss. I am pretty sure Honda Edmond has went IA ever since June 20th and also has one of the most broken wiki pages I have ever seen. IAs are a instant miss. Plus didn't great as big numbers as people thought he would in 2032.

In the 8th pick in the NSFL Draft, the Orange County Otters select....

Draftee: Dexter Banks II
Position: WR
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Georgia
TPE Before: 241
TPE Now: 1075
Peak TPE: 1164
Originally Drafted by: Orange County Otters
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 8
Status: HIT!
HIT! Whats with all these S17 players having 4 digit TPE numbers now? Currently, Dexter Banks has switched his position from WR to QB and then got drafted by the Sarasota Sailfish in the Expansion Draft. And today? He is currently leading the Sailfish on a successful run to the Ultimus Bowl.

In the Ninth Pick in the NSFL Draft, the Arizona Outlaws select....

Draftee: Saba Donut
Position: WR
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Oregon
TPE Before: 232
TPE Now: 1041
Peak TPE: 1178
Originally Drafted by: Arizona Outlaws
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 9
Status: HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HITTTTTTTTTTTTT
HITTTTTTTTT. Saba Donut is currently one of the best wide receivers in the ISFL today. Having 963 receiving yards and not getting caught as a joefish alt is most definitely the way to succeeded in your football career.

In the tenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Philadelphia Liberty selects...

Draftee: Julian McMorris
Position: CB
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Manitoba
TPE Before: 157
TPE Now: 644
Peak TPE: ??? (Not on TPE Tracker)
Originally Drafted by: Philadelphia Liberty
Drafted In: Round 1, Pick 10
Status: Meh
Meh. McMorris did have some great years and also won a DRotY in S17.

In the Eleventh Pick in the NSFL Draft, the Austin Copperheads select....

Draftee: Takeda Okura
Position: S
DSFL Team: San Antonio Marshalls/Minnesota Grey Ducks
College: Oregon State
TPE Before: 153
TPE Now: 324
Peak TPE: 407
Originally Drafted by: Austin Copperheads
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 11
Status: Hit!
HIT..barely. Before retiring later on his football career with the Copperheads he would make 2 pro bowls, a top 3 safety, and a forced fumble leader. Great career Okura. Hope your enjoying your retirement.

In the twelve pick in the NSFL Draft, the Arizona Outlaws select...

Draftee: Shane Masters
Position: DL
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Missouri
TPE Before: 129
TPE Now: 584
Peak TPE: 667
Originally Drafted by: Arizona Outlaws
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 12
Status: Miss
Miss. Its just a matter of time before he actually retires either due to regression or his own choice. He went IA on July 30th and was not progressing as fast as other players were. Poor Masters.

In the thirteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the New Orleans Second Line selects....

Draftee: Action Jackson
Position: WR
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Georgia
TPE Before: 185
TPE Now: 607
Peak TPE: 723
Originally Drafted by: New Orleans Second Line
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 13
Status: HIT!
HIT! Besides the crimes he has committed this guy proves why he should be a star in the ISFL. In his last season, he would win the Ultimus Bowl with the Wraiths before retiring in his football career.

In the fourteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the New Orleans Second Line Selects....

Draftee: Willie Woodson
Position: CB
DSFL Team: San Antonio Marshalls/Minnesota Grey Ducks
College: UCLA
TPE Before: 135
TPE Now: 164
Peak TPE: 164
Originally Drafted by: New Orleans Second Line
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 14
Status: Miss
Miss. Apparently his injuries in college went with him to the ISFL. A huge draft bust for New Orleans as Willie Woodson officially went IA today on September 1st!

In the fifteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the San Jose Sabercats select....

Draftee: A.C. Payton
Position: S
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Missouri
TPE Before: 124
TPE Now: 130
Peak TPE: 130
Originally Drafted by: San Jose Sabercats
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 15
Status: Miss
Miss. Literally everything about this dude confuses me. All I know is right after he got drafted he decided to retire to focus on other sim leagues. He then unretired and retired shortly after that again. Definitely a miss for the Sabercats.

In the sixteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Yellowstone Wraiths select...

Draftee: Kicky Bobby
Position: K
DSFL Team: Portland Pythons
College: Alabama State
TPE Before: 121
TPE Now: 128
Peak TPE: 128
Originally Drafted by: Yellowstone Wraiths
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 16
Status: Miss
Miss. Unlike Payton, this guy never retired. He just went IA. Just another bust for the Yellowstone Wraiths.

In the seventeenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Orange County Otters select....

Draftee: Max Lavote
Position: DE
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Notre Dame
TPE Before: 86
TPE Now: 209
Peak TPE: 209
Originally Drafted by: Orange County Otters
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 17
Status: Miss
Miss. Max Lovote came, stayed for 4 months, and left to retire. By the way, that was the users second character that he retired and neither of them actually lasted atleast 1 whole full year.

In the eighteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Arizona Outlaws select....

Draftee: Ducky Donut
Position: RB
DSFL Team: Kansas City Coyotes
College: Oregon
TPE Before: 92
TPE Now: 92
Peak TPE: 92
Originally Drafted by: Arizona Outlaws
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 18
Status: Miss
Miss. This guy had so much potential. Waluigi, An Outlaw, SABA DONUTS BROTHER. Yet he went IA. Its pretty sad, but its understandable as well. Just a bust for the Outlaws.

In the nineteenth pick in the NSFL Draft, the Philadelphia Liberty select...

Draftee: Jim McMahon
Position: QB
DSFL Team: San Antonio Marshalls/Minnesota Grey Ducks
College: BYU
TPE Before: 120
TPE Now: 414
Peak TPE: 414
Originally Drafted by: Philadelphia Liberty
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 19
Status: Miss
Miss. Literally can't find any passing stats from him in the ISFL so that basically means he stayed with the Marshalls for his whole career before he retired. Great pick Liberty!

In the 20th pick in the NSFL Draft, the Colorado Yeti selects....

Draftee: Jordan McCann III
Position: QB
DSFL Team: Tijuana Luchadores
College: Florida
TPE Before: 152
TPE Now: 192
Peak TPE: 192
Originally Drafted by: Colorado Yeti
Drafted In: Round 2, Pick 20
Status: Miss
Miss. The last second round pick in the S17 draft is a draft bust. Shortly after he was drafted he stayed another year with the Luchadores he retired with his last words saying "Yup". Gone too soon.

And those were the draft picks from the first two rounds of the S17 NSFL Draft. Will i continue this and go to round 6. If i need more money, yes. Until then, would you like to be a participant for the wheel of discipline? We need more punishments....

McMahon was traded to the Yeti after some disagreements with Philly management. He stuck around and had some pretty good seasons at WR, and even had one legendary moment as a kick returner

I'd say @Bauer was a hit Smile

Honda Edmond set the record for tackles in a 13 game season and has led the Copperheads (and been among league leaders) in tackles for the past 4 years. He's a pro bowler as well and had significantly more TPE than several people labelled hit or meh.

RE: S17 NSFL Draft Hit, Miss, or Meh - TubbyTim69 - 09-02-2020

McMorris retired early around 670 TPE... retired S21 so the Liberty had an extra protection spot in the expansion draft. A really generous move if I do say so myself.
