*My DSFL probowl - ThunderTitan82 - 09-27-2020

This is my selection for the DSFL pro bowl roster, that I will make into a team in Pro Strategy football and put the highlights and stats of the game at the end of this media. Im going to be as unbiased as possible here to give every player from every team a fair shot.

NFC

QUARTERBACK

Quarterback #1/2
- Sam Howitzer (POR). How could you not have Howitzer on a DSFL S24 pro bowl roster. He thre for 2559 yards on a 62.2 completion percentage. The best stat he has though, at least in my mind, is what really seperates him from the others, his minblowing 21 Touchdowns to only 6 Interceptions. He also had the leagues best QBR with an 88.9 an obvious choice in my mind.

Quarterback #2/2
- The NFC Quartback #2 spot was a bit tougher of a choice for me. Their is a bit more of a gap here, with a few players having the yards, but not the TD-INT ratio, or the other way around. I decided to go with yards here and chose Covington III from Kansas City. He threw for 2482 yards and 23 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. He had a completion percentage of 60.1 on the season. This was a tough choice, but his higher completion percentage and better TD-INT ratio and more touchdowns gave him the edge over Londons Cortez.

RUNNING BACK

Running Back #1/4
- Jameson Vermillion (MINN) is one of the top S24 DSFL running backs, and at the top of the list for the NFC. His 1134 yards was the highest of the NFC running backs, and he had an incredible 5.2 yards a carry. His long of 89 yards was the leagues best, though 4 TDs was on the lower end. His production was undoubtedly one of the best and his place here is well earned.

Running Back #2/4
- S. Kitchens (KC) had a great season, rushing for 1098 yards and a respectable 4.3 YPC average. He ran for a solid 8 touchdowns, though his lower yardage and YPC put him below Vermillion.

Running Back #3/4
- T. Yaki (LDN) rushed for 1032 yards on the season and a YPC of 4.5. He had a respectable six touchdowns and ran well for a team that didnt run as often as some of the others. His spot on the Pro Bowl here was well earned, his spot at number 3 was a close choice between him and #4.

Running Back #4/4
- Mike Rotchburns (MINN) was the power half of Minnesotas tough run game. He is the strongest running back in S24 DSFL and showcased his power with some tough smashmouth runs. He ran for nearly identical stats as T. Yaki. 1017 yards and a 4.7 ypc average. He tied Yaki in TDs with 6.

WIDE RECIEVER

Wide reciever #1/5
- Gunner Thorbjornnson (LDN) finished the year with a solid 964 yards, 2nd in the league. He also had the second highest average yards per catch with 14.4. He finished the season with 4 Touchdowns. A solid stat line that earns him top honors among recievers.

Wide reciever #2/5
- Korbin Brown (POR) ended the year with 886 yards. He had more catches but couldnt match the yard production of Thorbjornnson. He did however double him in touchdowns with 9 touchdown catches. In red zone efficiency made him an easy choice for #2, and nearly enough to put him at the top.

Wide reciever #3/5
- J. Campbell (KC) finished the year with 856 yards on 57 catches. He had the highest yards per catch average with 15, narrowly beating Thorbjornnson. His longest catch of 55 yards is also the best of any of my Pro Bowl choices. With 7 touchdowns on the year he was another solid red zone choice, telling me he could get open in tight space and make some tough catches in coverage.

Wide Reciever #4/5
- T. J'Vathon (LDN) finished up with 614 yards. A much lower number than the others, but the DSFL doesnt throw much and when it does, it tends to throw to a few favorites. Nonetheless he had 50 catches and 12.3 ypc so when he did get the ball he made good use of it. His 4 touchdowns is respectable but not mindblowing, even still his performance was good enough to earn a spot here in my Pro Bowl selection.

Wide reciever #5/5
- D. Batista (POR) almost didnt make the cut here, mostly because I thought he was a TE. But still his recieving yardage, and position in the index as WR are enough to convince me. With 507 yards on 55 catches, he made decent use of his time with the ball. With 4 touchdowns we can see that his big size and TE frame made him a good target in the red zone. Had Brown not gotten more of the targets, Batista may well have ended higher in each stat.

TIGHT ENDS

Tight end #1/3
- F. Michell (LDN) finished up with 557 yards recieving and 4 touchdowns. A really solid contribution to the air attack. His 23 pancakes was tied with Manclaw, and he also only allowed 1 sack. He was probably the best TE in the league that did both. Most only pass or only block, but he did both extrememly well earning him the top spot.

Tight end #2/3
- N. Marksman (POR) finished the season the top recieving TE in the NFC. With 605 yards and a respectable 4 touchdowns, he was a valuable asset to the Portland air attack. His blocking skill left some to be desired, 12 pancakes and 2 sacks allowed, but his prowess in the recieving game was enough to seal his place here.

Tight end #3/3
- Cleg Manclaw (MINN) was one of the better blocking tight ends in the league, with 23 pancakes and 1 sack allowed. He also finished the year with 26 catches for 126 yards. His blocking prowess is what earned him his spot here.

O-LINE (bots included if necessary to fill spots)

O-line #1/6
- Clay Stallworth (KC) obvious choice here. He dominated the game on the front lines with 71 pancakes. He did allow 2 sacks, but for a young DSFL lineman his production was incredible.

O-line #2/6
- C. Roth (POR) was another top lineman on the year. Second in the league in pancakes behind Stallworth he finished with 59, and also allowed 2 sacks. Another top performance, but not enough for the top spot.

O-line #3/6
- M. Hamel (POR) was a solid lineman for the pythons. His 50 pancakes and 2 sacks allowed was one of the better performances in the league.

O-line #4/6
- M. Elephant (LDN) had 47 pancakes on the year and only allowed 1 sack. His production was solid, but his low sacks allowed cemented his place here.

O-line #5/6
- T. Shaft (MINN) had 38 pancakes, a pretty low number compared to others, and he allowed 2 sacks. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. His lower sacks allowed gave him the edge over quigley despite lower pancakes.

O-line #6/6
- C. Quigley (KC) had 47 pancakes, notably more than player ahead of him, but he allowed 4 sacks. The sacks allowed is what dropped his position here to #6.

DEFENSIVE TACKLE

Defensive tackle #1/2
- L. Simwell (KC) ginished the season with 40 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. He also forced and recovered a fumble, and recorded 1 sack. The choices for DT in the NFC are a bit limited, but the two chosen candidates earned their positions well.

Defensive tackle #2/2
- W. Brooks (MINN) recorded 43 tackles on the year. He also had 2 tackles for loss and recovered a fumble. He also recorded a single sack. There were a few other candidates that were close, but these two were the better DTs overall.

DEFENSIVE ENDS

Defensive end #1/2
- M. Cadaire (LDN) finished up the year with 58 tackles. 14 of those were tackles for loss. He also recorded a monstrous 9 sacks. He only recovered 1 fumble but his presence in opposing backfields was undeniable.

Defensive end #2/2
- A. Ruschman (LDN) finished the year with 35 tackles and 15 of them were tackles for loss. He recorded 5 sacks and forced a fumble. Another great DE performance for London securing the second starting spot.

D-Line alternate #1/1
- E. Slayer (POR) (DE) recorded 36 tackles and of that 36, 20 of them were tackles for loss. He led the entire DSFL in tackles for loss. He also recorded 2 sacks. His low sack count is what pushed him lower on the list of Defensive ends into the alternate spot.

LINEBACKERS

Linebacker #1/5
- A. Chainbreaker (MINN) Recorded 115 tackles and 3 tackles for loss. He also tallied 8 sacks, 1/1 forced and recovered fumbles and 3 pass defenses. He had a hand in almost every play for minnesota.

Linebacker #2/5
- B. Light (LDN) recorded 116 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. He forced 2 fumbles and recovered 1. He also managed 6 sacks and 2 pass defenses. He played very well for london leading the team in tackles.

Linebacker #3/5
- Wasrabi Gleel (MINN) was the rookie phrnom from minnesota. He recorded 105 tackles with 4 of them marked as tackles for loss. He tallied 5 sacks and also added in an interception and 3 pass defenses.

Linebacker #4/5
- M. Thomaslacher (POR) recorded 103 tackles, with 4 of them being tackles for loss. He also forced a whopping FOUR fumbles, leading the league in forced fumbles. He also tallied 2 sacks and 5 pass defenses. He didnt have as much of a dominant impact in every play like a few of the others above him but man he was a big hitter.

Linebacker #5/5
- G. Goodman (KC) takss the fifth spot as probably the best pass coverage LB. He tallied 99 tackles and 3 tackles for loss with 1 forced fumble. He only notched 1 sack, but his true impact was in the pass game. Adding 3 interceptions and 8 pass defenses to his stat line he was a threat to throw around.

CORNERBACKS

Cornerback #1/4
- Rashad Hilliard (MINN) recorded 74 tackles, one of them a tackle for loss. He forced 2 and recovered 2 fumbles. He tallied 2 interceptions and added another 16 pass defenses.

Cornerback #2/4
- S. Jones (LDN) recorded 73 tackles and forced 2 fumbles, recovering 2 more. He tallied 1 sack and recorded 2 interceptions and 9 pass defenses.

Cornerback #3/4
- H. Andrews (LDN) tallied 72 tackles on the year and added in a forced fumble. He only recorded 1 interception but defended 17 passes. Pretty lockdown if you ask me.

Cornerback #4/4
- P. Patterson (KC) had 64 tackles on the year, he also notched 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. He tallied 3 interceptions and defended 12 passes. He had a pretty solid season and concludes the Corner position for the NFC.

SAFETIES

Strong safety #1/1
- Oliver Sloan (MINN) was all over the field, having a hand in every stat. He recorded 86 tackles and forced 1 fumble, recovering 1 more. He tallied 3 sacks and added in 2 interceptions and 3 pass defenses.

Free Safety #1/1
- J. Drake (POR) recorded 82 tackles and forced 1 fumble and recovered 1 fumble. He tallied 1 sack and added 3 interceptions and 4 pass defenses. His most impressive stat though was his 2 touchdowns.

DB ALTERNATE
- T. Yeboah (SS)(KC) recorded 68 tackles and made a huge impact in the blitz, recording 6 sacks. Had he made more of an impact in other areas of the game he would have undoubtedly been higher on the list.

KICKER/PUNTER

Kicker #1/1
- P. QB (POR) obvious choice here, he was 97 percent on extra points and hit 100% of his field goals, also having the longest field goal of the season at 50 yards.

Punter #1/1
- B. Brasky (MINN) punted 78 times for a total of 3389 yards, and a 42.2 average yards per punt. What set him above Fencik who was also a top choice, was his punts inside the 20. He had 14 punts inside the 20, almost doubling Fenciks 8.

KICK/PUNT RETURNERS

Kick returner #1/2
- K. Brown (POR) returned 40 kicks for a league high 980 yards. His average yards per kick return was also the leagus high 24.5. He returned 1 kick for a TD and his longest return was 98 yards. Studly to say the least.

Kick returner #2/2
- Noah Akerele (MINN) returned 37 kicks for 840 yards and an average return of 22.7. His longest return was 91 yards and he also returned 1 kick for a TD.

Punt returner #1/2
- J. Cambell (KC) returned 29 punts for 280 yards. His average return was 9.7 he had a league high 88 yard punt return and 1 returned for a touchdown.

Punt returner #2/2
- K. Brown (POR) returned 32 punts for 222 yards. His average return was 6.9 yards and he had 1 return for a TD.

That does it for the NFC lets take a look at how many each team sends. If a player for instance a WR goes as a WR and KR, they will only counted once.

POR : 9
MINN: 11
KCC: 10
LDN: 11

Onward to the SFC

SFC

QUARTERBACKS

Quarterback #1/2
- S. Ramza (NOR) edged out the competion largely due to his completion percentage. He threw for 2058 yards, but that was pretty middle of the road. His 64.2 completion percentage though was the leagues best. He also threw 14 touchdowns to 8 interceptions, and enddd the year with a QBR of 86.2.

Quarterback #2/2
- Jackie Daytona (MB) only threw for 1305 yards and a 55.6 completion percentage but made up for that with his TD-INT ratio of 13-3 and his QBR of 86.3. The edge at QB is going to be with the NFC by a fair margin.

RUNNING BACKS

Running back #1/4
- Zoe watts (DAL) leads the way with 1303 yards and 10 touchdowns, both league best. An average of 4.9 is definitely exceptional. Obvious choice here for #1.

Running back #2/4
-C. Rogers (NOR) rushed for 1281 yards on 255 carries and an average ypc of 5. He hit paydirt 4 times on the season. Very respectable season, though not enough to overcome watts stellar performance.

Running back #3/4
- Bronco Mills (TIJ) ran for 1214 yards on 239 carries. He has the best ypc out of the SFC backs so far with 5.1. His longest run of 88 yards was 2nd in the league, and he scampered to the endzone for 4 touchdowns. Another very good season performance, but just shy of the yards or TDs of the other two.

Running back #4/4
- Crowbar Theeks (TIJ) rushed for 1094 yards on 238 carries for a 4.6 ypc average. His 9 touchdowns though was 2nd in the league, making him a go to in the red zone. Had he had about 100 more yards on the year He would have been probably the #2 back here because of the TDs but his lower yardage is holding him back from being higher on this list.

WIDE RECIEVER

wide reciever #1/5
- D. Howlett (TIJ) led the league in yards, and was the only reciever to break 1000, even barely as he hit 1002 yards. That along with his 7 receiving touchdowns put him firmly at the top of the list here.

wide reciever #2/5
- D. Matthews (NOR) ended the year with 831 yards receiving. He had a pretty high yard per catch average of 12.4 and managed to hit paydirt 8 times on the season.

wide reciever #3/5
- T. Raimon (DAL) had 732 receiving yards by seasons end. Another respectable yard per catch average here 13.6. He is on the lower end of touchdowns by SFC standards with 4 but still had a great season and makes this list with no trouble.

wide receiver #4/5
- F. Vequain (TIJ) finished up with 681 recieving yards and 12.4 yards per catch. He reached the endzone 5 times, but his lower yardage keeps him at #4, beneath Raimon.

wide reciever #5/5
- A. Reed (MB) totaled 522 yards on the year, and made a bigger impact in the red zone with 5 touchdowns. A lower number of yards here, but same as the NFC the top recievers seem to get the majority of the yards and catches, but he made the list largely thanks to 5 touchdowns.

TIGHT ENDS

Tight end #1/3
-T. Hex (DAL) had 66 catches for 621 yards, the most yards by a TE in the league. He also had 2 touchdown catches, but failed to make a huge impact blocking. He did have 15 pancakes and didn't allow any sacks so he was consistent when it came to blocking.

tight end #2/3
- R. Krashwagen (NOR) takes the #2 spot here. He was dominant in the blocking game, recording 23 pancakes and only allowing a single sack. He also had a solid impact in the passing game wiht 346 yards and a touchdown.

tight end #3/3
- C. Skiuuup (DAL) recorded  312 yards recieving, but failed to reach the end zone. He did pretty well blocking, finishing the year with 14 pancakes and 0 sacks allowed.

O-LINE

O-line #1/6
- K. davis (TIJ) Pancaked opponents a total 51 times. He allowed only 2 sacks, a solid performance on the year, enough to earn top honors here.

O-line #2/6
- I. Reposte (TIJ) is the second Tijuana lineman to earn a spot here. He also recorded 51 pancakes, but allowed 3 sacks putting him behind his teammate.

Oline #3/6
- A. Mellott (TIJ) the third of Tijuanas elite lineman to make this roster. He recorded 48 sacks on the year, and allowed a single sack.

Oline #4/6
- T. Pennington Jr. (NOR) finished the season with 47 sacks, and is one of the few linemen who didnt allow any sacks.

Oline #5/6
- A. Krishna (MB) ended the season with 46 pancakes, and like his probowl mate above he allowed an exceptional, 0 sacks.

Oline #6/6
- G. Ucci (DAL) takes the final spot here, he recorded 39 pancakes. The reason he takes it over some others is because he allowed 1 sack as opposed to 4 like the player above on the index.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES

defensive tackle #1/2
- G. Tank (MB) is an obvious choice here. He dominated the line of scrimmage all year, with 59 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. He also forced 3 fumbles and recovered 3 more. He tallied 7 sacks on the year, with a safety to cap it all off.

Defensive tackle #2/2
- V. Slattery (TIJ) recorded 35 tackles, 4 of them were tackles for loss. He also forced a fumble and tallied 3 sacks.

DEFENSIVE ENDS

Defensive end #1/2
- N. Wright (TIJ) recorded a massive tackle total of 76. He added a tackle for loss, 2 sacks, an interception and 2 pass defenses. He was all over the field, making plays that arent typically made by a DE. Despite not excelling in any one area his impact was undoubtable.

Defensive end #2/2
- T. Wrecks (TIJ) recorded 48 tackles with 17 of them tackles for loss with an added 4 sacks.

D-Line alternate #1/1
- R. Crowder (DAL) recorded 44 tackles and 11 tackles for loss. He also recorded 3 sacks on the year. And undoubtable performance for dallas, but not enough to be placed higher on this list.

LINEBACKERS

linebacker #1/5
- A. Schell (TIJ) is the obvious choice here for me. 123 tackles led the league, with an added 5 tackles for loss and 9 sacks. He also forced 3 fumbles and recovered 2. With 8 passes defended he made an impact in every aspect of the field.

Linebacker #2/5
- T. Woods (MB) recorded 113 tackles on the season with 4 tackles for loss. He forced 3 fumbles and recovered an extra 1. With an added 5 sacks, 1 interception and 4 pass defenses he was a force on the field. He also scored a defensive touchdown.

Linebacker #3/5
- H. Winchester (MB) recorded 111 tackles, right below his teamate, and added 4 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery. He also tallied 2 sacks and defended 3 passes.

Linebacker #4/5
- R. Leaking (DAL) totalled 102 tackles on the year, he also added in a tackle for loss and 9 sacks. He also defended nine passes. He has the edge over his dallas teamate due to his impact in all areas of the defense.

Linebacker #5/5

-G. Fields (DAL) was a tackle machine, recorded 120 total tackles. That said the reason he is so low on the SFC linebacker corps is because he failed to make a big impact in any other areas. He only had 1 tackle for loss, and 2 pass defenses and no other noteworthy stats.

CORNERBACKS

Cornerback #1/4
- R. Vaughne (NOR) Tallied 59 tackles on tbe season with an added 3 forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He finished the year with 3 interceptions and 10 pass defenses.

Cornerback #2/4
- B. Blackwell (DAL) Recorded 52 tackles on the year. He didnt do much else in terms of tackling, but he tallied 15 pass defenses and 5 interceptions making noise whenever the ball came his way.

Cornerback #3/4
- J. Hoffman (MB) tallied 59 tackles on the year, a solid option for run defense, but he made noise in the pass defense also with 12 pass defenses. He didnt record any interceptions though, putting him lower on the list.

Cornerback #4/4
-R. Triplett (TIJ) recorded 48 tackles total on the year with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He also added 2 interceptions and 10 pass defenses.

SAFETIES

Free safety #1/1
- N. Name (DAL) tallied 93 tackles on the year. He also added a sack, an interception, and 3 pass defenses.

Strong Safety #1/1
- - N. Football League (TIJ) recorded 66 tackles on the year, with an added 6 sacks, 1 interception, and 2 pass defenses. He also notched a fumble recovery to his resume.

DB Alternate #1/1
- X. Jaxon-Waxon (NOR) made a big impact in the run game with 75 tackles. He also tallied 6 sacks and was useful blitzing.

KICKER/PUNTER

Kicker #1/1
- J. Burton (TIJ) made 30/33 extra points for 90.9% and went 23/27 in field goals for 85.2%. His longest kick of the year was 47 yards.

Punter #1/1
- L. Bloomfield (MB) punted 89 times for 3773 yards and a 42.4 average yards per punt. He also pinned 12 punts inside the 20 yard line.

KICK/PUNT RETURNERS

Kick returner #1/2
- Zoe Watts (DAL) returned 33 punts for 763 yards, thats 23.1 yards per return. With a longest kick return of 97 yards and 1 kick returned for a TD, Watts was one of the top returners in the league.

Kick returner #2/2
- Z. Mouse (MB) returned 27 kicks for 612 yards, equaling 22.7 yards per return. Mouse failed to get into the endzone however and had a long of 36 yards.

Punt returner #1/1
- F. Vequain (TIJ) returned 40 punts for a league high 452 yards. He had 11.3 yards per punt and a long of 87 yards. The real kicker though was the league high 2 punt return TDs.

Punt returner #2/2
- T. Raimon (DAL) returned 30 punfs for 338 yards, thats 11.3 yards per return. His longest return was 63 yards and he had 1 return for a touchdown.

Now to wrap up the rosters lets see whoch teams had the most pro bowlers from the SFC.

NOR: 7
MB: 9
TIJ: 14
DAL: 10

That wraps up the rosters. Now let’s get to the game.

SFC vs NFC.

First Quarter - NFC 0 - SFC 0

The SFC kicked off first, the opening kick was a touchback. The NFC opening drive was solid, but SFC held strong forcing a field goal. NFC scored first with a 43 yard QB kick. HALFTIME - NFC 16 - SFC 3

THIRD QUARTER

This SFC drive saw the SFCs biggest play yet, a 22 yard pass from Ramza to the TE Hex, tackled by Gleel. Despite the big play, the next few downs led to a punt. A 3 and out on the next NFC drive send the ball punted back to the SFC. After a tough drive, full of small 5-7 yard chunk plays, fhe SFC hit 4th down at the 24 and kicked a field goal. 16-6. The NFC threw 3 incomplete passes in a row on the next drive and punted. The Next drive Ramza hit Rogers for 11 yards, but was sacked on the next play by Gleel for a 6 yard loss. They kept the drive alive though after a 16 yard pass from Ramza to Watts. Despite that, the next 3 downs led to a punt. NFC moved well on this drive, the opening play was a 31 yard pass from Howitzer to Campbell. Kitchens scampered for 14 in the next play. After a few more solid gains the NFC are in the redzone. 3rd and 4 from the 6 yard line Howitzer throws a TD to TE Mitchell. 23 -6 NFC. This kick ends the 3rd quarter.

Fourth Quarter - NFC 33 - SFC 6

Ramza puts together a solid drive, but like many others it ends with a punt. The following NFC drive is cut ahort after Vaughne intercepts Howitzer at the NFC 24 yard line. After a few short runs by Mills and Watts, Ramza hits Howlett for a 12 yard TD. 33-13 NFC. The NFC seem to have it in hand and start to run the ball more and burn up the clock. After a solid drive on the ground, Campbell catches a pass on 3rd and four but fumbles. Luckily recovered by Vermillion. The drive ends after 3 plays go nowhere and NFC punt. SFC finally turns up the heat with back to back chunk plays. First a screen to rogers for 14 yards. Then a 31 yard pass from Ramza to Howlett. After a close 4th down conversion, Ramza hits Reed for 11 yards and a touchdown. 33-20 NFC. A quick 3 and out by NFC gets SFC the ball back with a chance to take the game if they score quickly. Ramza immediately hits Raimon for 27 yards. Then the NFC come in to shut it down with back to back to sacks for 7 and 6 yards. On 3rd and 23 Ramza threads a needle to Howlett for 27 yards. After 2 incompletions, on 3rd and 10 Ramza fires a bullet to Raimon for 16 yards and a touchdown. 33-27 NFC. Unfortunately for the SFC their comeback took a little too long. NFC got the ball back here with 38 seconds, and after a few kneels, the game was sealed.
