Chet Larson, is the best linebacker prospect to come out of the Danish isles ever.

....okay so he might also be the first.

Being drafted and being part of the pagentry of the process is a privilege but also a chance to impress the league and the fans on who he is and what expectations should be made on his outlook. While the DsfL draft is nothing like the profile of the ISFL draft it is still a chance to make that impression.

But unfortunately he will not become the first Dane drafted in the  DSFL
(making a wild claim here but I am pretty sure there aren't any other Danish players - apart from Peter Larson, who was also not drafted in the dsfl).

What can be said about how this happened? Was it the new quarantine periods Chet was required to undergo, was it a skipped drug test before he left Denmark or maybe just the simple fact that his agent is Swedish and knew nothing about the protocols required to register in time for the draft... Or something else entirely... Maybe more sinister?, maybe the league actively cracking down on forginiers?

We might never know the reason, but we do know that Chet will be part of the first wave of waivers for the season.

Being a waiver player though is going to give an added sense of motivation for Chet, a chip on his shoulder even. He needs to show on the field and through his off field actions, what kind of player he is going to be and that he is going to be a valuable member of his future ISFL team, and a total steal for his DSFL team.

Actions speak louder than draft position and Chet Larson is going to prove that in the coming seasons.
