Funyuns sign Roberts

Roberts officially signed to the onion flavored rings on Monday as Funyun confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets in simulation sports, announcing it had signed a multi-year deal with the New York player. The deal means Funyuns now has two of the biggest names in the S25 draft representing its brand, as Marlon Alexander has been with the onion flavored rings company since turning pro in the S24 DSFL season. Funyuns did not disclose any financial details of the deal, but industry observers have estimated that Roberts will be paid up to $20 million a year to use their snacks and apparel. The partnership with Roberts was announced in a lavish ceremony in the Ritz, ahead of this week's game with the Hawaii based team, where he will use the company's snacks publicly for the first time. The event opened with a hologram of Roberts catching an interception. "Bob is an extraordinary athlete who creates enormous excitement with his on-course performance while, at the same time connecting with fans everywhere," said Ramon Laguarta, CEO of Funyuns. "He is the epitome of a Funyun Athlete, and he is joining our team during the most exciting time Funyun's history. We are looking forward to partnering with him to take his remarkable career to the next level."

It is well known that New York Silverbacks Fullback Buster ‘Boulder’ Bawlls is Scottish and is most proud of being the best Fullback to ever set foot on an ISFL field. Off the field is a different story, while players may be all about family values and sports endorsement, Bawlls is most proud of his partnership with Scotland's Tennent’s Lager.
This partnership is definitely a match made in heaven. Bawlls is known for his hard hitting, no nonsense style of play and some called him mad in trying to make it into the ISFL. Tennent’s Lager is known for being a ‘madman’s dream’ and I don’t know of another Scotsman or human more fitting or deserving of being the face of the company.
This partnership was first set on a collision course, when a young Bawlls downed a whole crate of Tennent’s by himself and then created a majestic crown made out of the finished cans. A photo of Bawlls wearing the crown went viral and Tennent’s reached out to him to discuss a possible endorsement. This starting something beautiful.
Both parties stay in regular contact with each other. When being drafted to the DSFL, Bawlls spent the draft at Tennent’s Wellpark surrounded by all the employees. The party afterwards has gone down in Wellpark’s history. Now that Bawlls is in the ISFL he supplies the tickets to any Tennent’s employees wanting to attend the Silverbacks games.

Giving the current economy in the ISFL, endorsements are an important way for athletes to supplement their income. The average ISFL player spends between 500k and 1 million dollars per week on training and up to 13.5 million dollars on equipment. As you can see, if we're just trying to make a living on your paycheck, that is a quick way to go broke. Not to mention all the things that go into the professional athlete lifestyle. For Cuco Clemente, the perfect endorsement fell into his lap this offseason. Clemente cleaned up his diet and lost an enormous amount of weight. So much so that he had to change positions and become one of the fastest people in the league. Everyone around the ISFL was asking what he's secret was to his tremendous weight loss. The answer was Jenny Craig. He immediately started a very successful and lucrative relationship with Jenny Craig as their spokesman. He has put out weight loss DVDs and has even started putting out some cookbooks. As the official spokesman, he has broadened the appeal for the weight loss regiment to new demographics. He is now working with them to perfect a meal planning service that will be available around the world. For the DT turned Safety losing weight meant gaining money.

WASRABI GLEEL LANDS HISTORIC PIZZA ROLL DEAL

Written by Pam Pringle

Minnesota Grey Ducks linebacker Wasrabi Gleel is known to enjoy a bag or two of Totino’s Pizza Rolls before kickoff. An avid fan on twitter, sources close to Gleel have released information regarding a $2 million dollar endorsement deal from Totinos to Gleel for the season. Details of the deal include pre-game snacking of the bite-sized pizza snacks on the sidelines, one tweet a week regarding his love and appreciation for Pizza Rolls, and the ability to use Gleel’s likeness for advertising purposes on packaging for the snack. For his efforts, in addition to the $2million dollar contract, Gleel will also receive: Two 50 count bags of Pizza Rolls on gameday, a three-piece pizza rolls themed suit, and his very own “Gleel” combination flavor if the Grey Ducks make it to the playoffs. This is a happy partnership between two entities that obviously hold one another in high regard.

When asked about the mysterious “Gleel” combination flavor, sources close to Gleel say that he is adamant about putting pineapple inside the tiny pizza snack, but the other ingredients in the combination, “will be determined at a later date and revealed subsequently on Gleel’s twitter page.”

In case we all needed another reason to support the Grey Ducks this season, the mystery of the Gleel Combination pizza rolls have added some much needed stakes and anticipation.

RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - SlurmsMckenzie - 10-12-2020

While Slurms McKenzie may be a new name to the rosters of the DSFL, Slurms has a little experience in the world of sponsorships and endorsements. Having served as the long time face of the soft drink Slurm, it has been reported that McKenzie will likely stick with what he knows.

When we reached out for comment McKenzie's agent Glurmo told us, “My guy Slurm has already been a long time representative of Slurm, the finest of soft-drinks in the galaxy, and remember kids, if you're sippin' on a Slurm, then you're sippin' like the Original Party Worm!” This agency did manage to contact Slurms who responded to our question with his trademark and expected, “WHIMMY WHAM WHAM WOZZLE!”

Slurms' contract is said to be soon up for renewal. If this young cornerback performs well this season there may be potential for a payday-party! Are we even gonna consider the alternative? Hell no! It's Slurms McKenzie and he's bad-ass! As far as advertising mediums, Slurms has done it all. Billboards, TV commercials, and a lifetime of partying, McKenzie is the worm in many more ways than one.

Even though we're still early in the season there are a few constants that we can expect throughout it, weird cringey ideas from higher offices, some other dumb drama, and the most certain of them all – Slurms with a can of Slurm partyin' down!
