*DSFL Statistical Leaders - SchoolboyShue - 10-31-2020 This will be a full breakdown of the S25 DSFL seasonal statistics, through 10 games. I will be listing the top 10 leaders for passing yards, completion percentage, passing touchdowns, interceptions, passer rating, rushing attempts, rushing yards, yards per carry, rushing touchdowns, receiving yards, yards per catch, receiving touchdowns, tackles, tackles for loss, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, sacks, interceptions, pass deflections, field goal percentage, long field goal, and pancakes. We clearly have a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get started. Passing Yards 1,976 - J. Daytona - MB 1,888 - R. Negs - MIN 1,765 - C Cortez - LDN 1,707 - L. James III - POR 1,519 - M. Boss Jr. - TIJ 1,518 - M. Caliban - DAL 1,486 - M. Peterson - KC 1,221 - E. Rune - NOR 4 - R. Covington III. - KC It’s no surprise that the leader of the 7-3 Buccaneers finds himself at the top of this list. Also high up on the podium is rookie stand out Ryan Negs from Minnesota, and it is only fitting that league leading London’s Qb Charlamagne Cortez round out the top 3 in total passing yards. Completion Percentage 63.1% - L. James III - POR 59.6% - M. Peterson - KC 57% - C. Cortez - LDN 56.7% - M. Caliban - DAL 56.7% - E. Rune - NOR 56.6% - R. Negs - MIN 56.4% - M. Boss Jr - TIJ 54.2% - J. Daytona - MB Not a huge surprise that the guy with the best passer rating in the league also has the best completion percentage. Despite sitting at .500 at the bottom of the NFC North, L. James III has been arguably the best QB in the league. Don’t sleep on Portland, seeing as they still have a very real shot at making the playoffs. Passing Touchdowns 14 - C. Cortez - LDN 11 - J. Daytona - MB 10 - R. Negs - MIN 10 . L. James III - POR 7 - M. Caliban - DAL 5 - M. Peterson - KC 4 - E. Rune - NOR 2 - M. Boss Jr. - TIJ The man known as Charlamagne leads the league in passing touchdowns by a decent margin, the Royals have THE best scoring offense in the league (22.1 points per game) and with Cortez at the helm, they’re the current favorites for the S25 DSL Ultimini. Interceptions 4 - M. Boss Jr. - TIJ 5 - J. Daytona Jr. - MB 5 - L. James III - POR 5 - E. Rune - NOR 6 - C. Cortez - LDN 6 - M. Peterson - KC 9 - R. Negs - MIN 12 - M. Caliban - DAL Unfortunately, it’s not always great to be leading the league in a particular statistic. Dallas Birddogs Quarterback M. Caliban finds himself at the front of the league in total interceptions, tossing the ball to the other squad 12 times in just 10 games, 3 more than the next highest mark. It has been a rough season for Dallas, a season in which losses have usually been fueled by, you guessed it, turning the ball over. Passer Rating 83.2 - L. James III - POR 82.3 - C. Cortez - LDN 76.6 - J. Daytona - MB 72 - R. Negs - MIN 72 - M. Peterson - KC 69.1 - M. Boss Jr. - TIJ 68.1 - E. Rune - NOR 63.2 - M. Caliban - DAL One of the quiet candidates for QB of the year, L. James III is the frontrunner for quarterback rating. The most premier stat to lead the league in, L. James III just needs to continue to be efficient, and hope that himself and his squadron can sneak their way into the playoffs. Rushing Attempts 308 - M. Forty-Two - NOR 251 - M. Rotchburns - MIN 216 - D. Pama - POR 201 - C. Kai - DAL 183 - T. Yaki - LDN 170 - B. Mills - TIJ 160 - A. Ozymandias - MB 158 - S. Kitchens -KC 156 - S. Miglaskems 155 - K. Tutankhamun - KC Two names stand out to you on this list, both M. Forty Two and M. Rotchburns. These guys don’t have a backup, hence the load they’ve been asked to carry this season. The two are the only players in the DSFL to have games this year in which they were the only player on their respective team to have a rushing attempt. Rushing Yards 1,156 - M. Forty-Two - NOR 1,103 - M. Rotchburns - MIN 1,022 - C. Kai - DAL 948 - D. Pama - POR 835 - T. Yaki - LDN 816 - B. Mills - TIJ 764 - A. Ozymandias - MB 748 - S. Kitchens - KC 744 - K. Tutankhamun - KC 730 - A. Christiansen - POR Familiar top of the list, the more carries, the more yards. Forty Two has had almost 100 more carries than everyone else in the league (excluding Rotchburns) and Rotchburns has 50+ more carries than the rest of the positional group. Yards per Carry (Minimum 100 Carries) 5.1 - C. Kai - DAL 4.9 - A. Christiansen - POR 4.8 - B. Mills - TIJ 4.8 - A. Ozymandias = MB 4.8 - K. Tutankhamun - KC 4.7 - S. Kitchens - KC 4.6 - T. Yaki - LDN 4.5 - B. Hana - LDN 4.4 - M. Rotchburns - MIN 4.4 - D. Pama - POR Birddogs standout C. Kai was leading the league in yards per carry last time I wrote a statistical media, and he’s still at the top of the list after 10 games. The rookie stud is continuing to own it in Dallas, and look for him to finish the season on a very high note. Touchdowns 9 - M. Rotchburns - MIN 5 - M. Forty-Two - NOR 5 - C. Kai - DAL 5 - T. Yaki - LDN 5 - A. Ozymandias - MB 5 - S. Kitchens - KC 4 - D. Pama - POR 4 - B. Mills - TIJ 4 - K. Tutankhamun - KC 4 - B. Hana - LDN Big man Mike Rotchburns is at the top of this list for obvious reasons, redzone monster. The 245 pound tailback is known for putting his nose down and falling forward. The Grey Ducks have one of the best red zone offenses in the league, and this train plays a big part in their red zone success. Receiving Yards 695 - M. Callous - DAL 667 - M. Messi - POR 664 - Z. Crossley - MB 657 - L. Newton - MIN 649 - T. Speedman - LDN 565 - Q. McGrady - TIJ 556 - D. McJimmerson - MB 543 - A. Naught - KC 540 - R. Jackman - POR 515 - J. Washington - MIN Another standout Dallas skill position player, Callous has been terrorizing secondaries all season long. When it’s all said and done after week 14, Callous could potentially be the only player in the league to amass a thousand yards in the air on the campaign. Yards per Catch 14.3 - K. Moore - TIJ 13.6 - Z. Crossley - MB 12.9 - S. Hulkenvettel - LDN 12.6 - M. Callous - DAL 12.6 - A. Naught - KC 12.4 - B. Funyuns - MB 12.2 - L. Newton - MIN 11.8 - T. Speedman - LDN 11.6 - D. Grayson - MIN 11.3 - D. McGrady - TIJ Even though he hasn’t totaled all the yards that other receivers in the league might have, K. Moore makes his receptions count. The Luchadores wideout has managed to make big play after big play all season long, and his explosiveness could help propel the Tijuana team into the playoffs. Receiving Touchdowns 6 - M. Messi - POR 6 - F. Mitchell - LDN 5 - L. Newton - MIN 5 - A. Reed - MB 3 - M. Callous - DAL 3 - T. Speedman - LDN 3 - J. Washington - MIN 3 - S. Hulkensvettel - LDN 3 - J. Smith - DAL 7 tied with 2 Messi and Mitchell are the names you hear about when it comes to red zone targets, whether it be a back corner fade or just a quick slant from the 1 these guys have managed to create seperation and come down with the catch 6 times thus far. Tackles 114 - R. Leaking - DAL 104 - L. Burfict - LDN 95 - A. Chainbreaker - MIN 94 - T. Tenners - NOR 89 - V. Jones - TIJ 87 - T. Rose - MB 79 - A. Lucas - KC 72 - B. McMullet - TIJ 70 - T. Woods - MB 69 - D. McBobby - POR Dallas standout R. Leaking is the diamond on the Dallas defense, he runs around the field like no one else in the league, and with his relentless pursuit and solid tackling, its a surprise to no one that he claims the number one spot on this list. Tackles for Loss 17 - D. Roes - NOR 15 - D. Rogers - NOR 14 - P. Berto - DAL 13 - B. Togami - MB 12 - O. Isaac - TIJ 11 - M. Cadaire - LDN 9 - L. Dreyar - KC 9 - M. Morrisey - KC 8 - E. Lover - LDN Hey man, the big guys get in the backfield. D. Roes has just straight up tormented offensive lines and pulling guards all season long. 17 tackles for loss in 10 games is no small feat, hence why he’s the leagues best in the category. Sacks 9 - L. Burfict - LDN 8 - D. McBobby - POR 6 - V. Jones - TIJ 6 - T. Rose - KC 6 - E. Lover - LDN 6 - P. Sabor - TIJ 6 - T. Yeboah - KC 6 - P. Berto - DAL 6 - Morrisey - KC 5 - O. Isaac - TIJ Hm… Burfict.. Where have I heard that name before… Anyway. This guy eats Qbs for breakfast, it doesn’t matter that he’s not rushing every single play, what does matter is that when he DOES rush the QB, he finds his way there, and has made the blitz pay off nine times already on the season. Interceptions 4 - J. Hoffman - MB 3 - T. Rose - KC 3 - Z. Mouse - MB 3 - M. van Perkins - LDN 3 - P. Patterson - KC 3 - B. Blackwell - DAL 7 tied with 2 Ball. Hawk. Those are the words used to describe the Myrtle Beach corner J. Hoffman, QBs would have a much better time (as would their passer rarings) if they just strayed away from Hoffman’s side of the field. Do yourself a favor, take your best receiver, and line him up on the other side of the field, as far away from this guy as you can. Pass Deflections 14 - J. Hoffman - MB 13 - M. van Perkins - LDN 12 - B. Anabender - POR 12 - J. Faith - MIN 11 - B. Blackwell - DAL 10 - B. Alexander-Arnold - TIJ 10 - P. Patterson - KC 9 - T. Utterstutzen - MB 9 - X. Jaxon-Waxon - NOR 8 - R. Anderson - NOR Oh, whats that? Hoffman is leading the league in pass deflections too??? Refer to what I said above. Just avoid his half of the field. Your stats will thank you. Field Goal Percentage 100% (18/18) - M. McMVP - KC 100% (10/10) - J. Smith - POR 93.8% (15/16) - S. McDerpants - LDN 81% (17/21) - L. Bloomfield - MB 77.8% (14/18) - M. Catmas - DAL 76.5% (13/17) - G. Maximus - MIN 70.8% (17/24) - B. Bilbo - TIJ 66.7% (6/9) - D. Guava-Fresca - NOR 33.3% (4/12) - L. Buttowski - POR We got some studs, then we got some dudes who aren’t as studly. Yeah McMVP and Smith are both kicking 100%, but look at L Buttokowski on Portland, missing 8 field goals on the year in comparison to only making 4. How that dude hasn’t been cut yet is beyond me. Pancakes 46 - M. Hamel - POR 45 - A. Krishna - MB 38 - A. Melott - TIJ 36 - C. Quigley - KC 35 - A. Adyan - NOR 34 - B. Faramir - TIJ 34 - F. Archslone - KC 34 - A. Franklin - MIN 32 - M. Alexander - LDN 31 - S. Mcghee - DAL Last but not least, fat boy stats. M. Hamel is the nastiest, meanest, hardest SOB the DSFl has to offer. Almost 5 times a game he’s taking a defender and putting them flat on their ass? Yeah if I were a Qb that’s who I would want protecting my blind side. For those of you who are still with me, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! I’ll probably be writing another one similar to this when the season comes to a close. RE: DSFL Statistical Leaders - C9Van - 11-01-2020 Damn, not bad for the 12th best running back :^) |
