The THICCening (part 2)

Welcome back to your free trial of THICC board.  Remember that for only $3.99/month you become one of our premium THICC-insider members, granting you access to content such as ‘What are all these frog emojis?’ and entry into winning an exclusive, one-on-one interview with Honky Tonk Haywood from the Holiday Salon & Bathhouse in Nashville, Tennessee.

But anyway, but to the free content you damn leeches.

In Part 1 of the THICCboard, we saw our top 15 THICCbois for the upcoming ISFL draft.  In this segment we will reveal the following 15, which takes us just past ROUND 2 if we were speculating pick positions.  This group is headlined by three athletes mentioned previously, Raphael Delacour, Mr. Forty-Two, and Jonathan Shuffleboard.

Again the names to watch are the vet users, creators of M-42, Raphy Delacour, and also Big Slammu and Maiteers Rico-Shea.  All four of these players’ users have either 1,000-plus posts and/or 60-plus unique threads posted in.  They stick around.  They’re active.  These bois will likely jump ahead far above their THICC rating.  The THICC system is also really high on newbies Tom Teboat and Logan Sarrasin, despite them being 19th and 28th in TPE earned, respectively.  Both players joined in September and already have nearly 100 posts.

The THICC system has results for 19 remaining players eligible for the upcoming draft.  This would take us halfway thru the 4th round.  This group has some intriguing entries in guys like Derek Wildstar, who are 12th and 14th respectively in TPE earned for Season 26 creates.

The aforementioned two, with such great TPE positioning, will likely make a jump up the boards.  Meanwhile, Redbeard McFredbeard, Lalo Salamanca, Makato Otawara, Schumi Hulk, and Chet Larson will be names to watch as well.  These players have been around the block; however, only one of them is in the top-20 for TPE earned from season twenty-sixers, and only two have even eclipsed the 200 TPE mark (as of the date of this article).  The THICC system says they’re ranked in the 40s, but it shall be an interesting study on what GMs value, guys that are still here a year-plus later, or guys with the potential to be a bit more active over a longer period.  A low floor, high-ceiling type situation.

UPDATE: A MESSI SITUATION
THICC inaccurately calculated Messi’s numbers.  Shame! Shame! Messi actually cracks the top 20 in THICC.  I’m –a sorry, Mario! WAAAAAAAAHH

THICC’s DSFL Fav’s:

Picking thru the data some more we find that the THICC system actually loves itself some Tijuana Luchadores and Portland Pythons, and dislikes the 11-3 Myrtle Beach Buccs.  One would have to think this is largely a result of ISFL draftees that were sent back to MB to continue growth in the DSFL.

Don’t worry too much about those numbers, I can assure you they’re largely made up and insignificant.  But it does make sense when you see THICC Darlings BamBam McMullet and Jonathan Shuffleboard are former Luchadores, as was #7 THICCboi Vincent Jones.  This could be an ominous sign for other DSFL teams if those five players in total are tapped to play another year in the DSFL.  This stands true for Portland as well, who are tied with the most THICCbois on the list and second on average THICC score.

Positionally, it’s clear that if your team needs a tight end then you should grab one early.  Both of our TE’s on the THICC board are exceptionally well positioned with TPE and are active.  One of the two is a GM (JaJa), meaning Tom Teboat will be a big name to watch.  It’s either grab him or cross your fingers that you can get someone to position switch cuz it’s scrap heap after Tom.  Same goes for Slurms Mckenzie at corner.  Where are all the overage men this year?  Slurms sits at only 177 TPE, but corner-hungry teams will have to jump him up their draft boards if there’s a need there.

The depth positions are linebacker and wide receiver this year.  While there are standout talents in both those positions, teams may decide not to reach, and wait out other GMs on those positions as there will be talent there throughout the draft.  As a result, we may see names like Mario Messi, Raphy Delacour, Logan Sarrasin, and Big Slammu go later than we had pegged them to.

Defensive Tackle and Kicker is also slim pickins this year.  While Gluteus Maximus sits at an even 200 TPE as a kicker, none of the rest have more than 165 TPE.  These are project players that will need more DSFL seasoning, but their positional scarcity may drop them into a higher draft slot than one would think.

So that’s all for your THICC ratings, Parts 1 and 2.  Make sure to donate to try THICC-insider!!
