*Draft Talk from an SHL player and ISFL rookie - Gumbaman - 11-30-2020
Well Hello there, I'm Gumbaman a recent Dallas waivers pickup, and SHL player for the Carolina Kraken. I recently joined the ISFL and was greeted by some amazing people and players. With the recent draft, a few of my fellow Kraken, some former players, players, and management alike were selected in the draft. With my GM as many would know him as sve7en, he got me onto the ISFl and I got to watch the draft with my fellow Kraken. seeing Overdoo go before 7 was one of the jokes of the night. We all expected 7 to get drafted first but nope. God damn Kyle had to be drafted to Dallas instead of either 7 or Overdoo. To which was and still is a joke in both locker rooms. With Overdoo, sve7en, Retu, and TDZ all getting drafted to teams this draft. I’m proud to say that Retu is a fellow Birddog with me. We created a channel in the Kraken discord for other sim leagues. To which everyone in the ISFL just talked and talked leading up to the draft and during the draft. It was an amazing place to be and an amazing thing to be apart of. Seeing my fellow Kraken go off the board and be drafted was such an exciting thing to see. I know that every single Kraken that got drafted will be here to perform and break records. Sve7en went fifth overall to where he thought he was going top four. We all see how that thought panned out. In his defense, he should have gone second instead of kyle. Overdoo went fourth overall to where he was expected to go early second round or late first. Now onto Smatt/Mazzatt, to which he was drafted with the 18th pick in this draft. He was expected early to late second so he was picked right where he needed to be. Plus whenever you speak with Smatt/Mazatt tell him about veins.
