*Lunch-a-dore Second Line: Week One - mee - 12-05-2020

Yo people it's Dale Murphy here, and you know what I'm reporting for once again. I'm out here in Tijuana and I'm here to report on the two New Orleans prospects that play for the Lunchadores.
But first I have to talk about my lunch. I will say I got, perhaps, the greatest taco I have ever seen, heard or eaten about. This taco was full of the most amazing things, and it tasted and smelled so good. Murphy you are on live TV. Oh, sorry sir, I'll get back to those two players now.

The Lunchadores started off the season with perhaps the toughest game on the schedule. There would be no easy, banner raising ceremony for the defending Ultimus champions. They were to start on the road, across the globe in Australia. They would play the team they beat "so bad in the playoffs that they move to a different continent." Myrtle Beach is now Bondi Beach, but the team is the same team that won 11 of the 14 regular season games, before falling to the Lunchadores "so bad in the playoffs that they move to a different continent."
And the game was not exactly favorable to the Lunchadores, they fell 31-13. The defense did not have a great game, which brings us to our Second Line players.

Vincent Jones Jr. had 6 tackles and a sack. In the preseason he had more gaunty tackle numbers, but the one sack per game he had was incredible. He keeps that up with a sack. As the matchups get easier for the Lunchadores, the defense may be able to take advantage of the Jones Jr. sacks and get off the field better than they did this game.
Jonathan Shuffleboard had nine tackles. It is not a very good sign when your safety has a lot of tackles, it means the linebackers are not taking care of business early. You want pass defends, interceptions from your safeties and Shuffleboard had none of those.

It was a rough game for the Lunchadores, but by the counting stats the Second Line prospects had solid games. Nothing for New Orleans to be concerned about, but Tijuana may be worried about the overall defense.

Until next game, Signing off, it's
Dale Murphy
