*ISFL to NFL Hits a Snag - CLG Rampage - 12-20-2020
So apparently, I'm bad at 1st grade addition. And there were a few things I didn't forsee becoming issues that did indeed become an issue. We have too many players. 7 too many, to be precise. And that means I need to make some cuts. Because Madden doesn't let you go past roster limits because they suck balls, I will need to cut 7 players from the roster. I hate having to do this, I want as many people to be on this roster as I can, but because Madden is completely inflexible and the roster is already complete, I will be cutting 7 players.
Hanyadi, Gelbman, Donut and Podolak are out. They have no use to the team as pure returners, so they have to go first. McCormick goes, he's the 4th TE on the chart and the lowest voted out of the 4 so the rest get to stay. Thumper gets to go on the PS, he's considered a rookie by Madden and that'll allow him to come in, in case someone on the line is injured. Last casualty is Lavelle Jr., we have a large amount of depth at the CB position and with me running several defensive formations, I need all the LBs I can get.
So, yeah. That all sucks. Like I said, I want to keep as many people as possible on this roster, but Madden is Madden and having any sort of major creativity is not possible. So, those 7 are casualties of roster limits and will not be joining us on this journey. However, I may write a piece on them and how their respective seasons are going on different rosters, if there is interest in that sort of thing.
