*S26 DSFL Week 4-6 Highlights - Tesla - 01-03-2021

Week #4 Broadcast

Agent Tesla: Hello and good time appropriate greeting readers! We are back with another Thursday worth of games! Joining me as always is the representative of the sim known as Sim Rep who will please take it away with the first game of week

Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at London Royals. Royals won 38 to 3. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Tugg Speedman of the London Royals with a stat line of 6 receptions for 107 yards, an average reception of 17.8 yards, a long of 43 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Agent Tesla: Early in the third quarter Speedman caught their first big play pass of the day good for a 25 yard touchdown on first and ten. Midway through the third quarter Speedman did it again with a 43 yard touchdown reception on first and ten for the team's third touchdown in the quarter. Next is the defensive player of the game please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Steven Wadham of the London Royals with a stat line of 5 tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.

Agent Tesla: First play by Wadham on the first drive of the game was a tackle short of the line to gain on a third and twelve to force a punt right at midfield. Wadham next showed up big partway through the third quarter where they once again made a big play about midfield by picking off a pass on first and ten and running it back 45 yards for the touchdown. Later in the third Wadham would contribute again with a key tackle on third and ten well short of hte line to gain, and although it was around midfield it led to another forced punt.

Game two please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Bondi Beach Buccaneers at Dallas Birddogs. Buccaneers won 28 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Cobra Kai of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 32 rushing attempts for 162 yards, an average run of 5.1 yards, a long of 13 yards, 2 receptions for 16 yards, an average reception of 8 yards, and a long of 13 yards.

Agent Tesla: First play and first first down for Kai as they ran it 10 yards on their opening first and ten. Late in the first they were part of a long drive where they had both a 13 yard run on first and ten early in the drive, and an 11 yard run on a first and ten later in the drive. Opening drive of the second quarter they did essentially the same with a 13 yard run on second and ten, and then an 11 yard run on following first and ten. Late in the fourth quarter Kai had their last big play on a second and eight that they converted with a 10 yard run. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Jonasredfyld Gabjonson of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.

Agent Tesla: Opening drive of the second half and Gabjonson came in for the 7 yard sack on third and seventeen to force a punt. Midway through the fourth quarter Gabjonson made a tackle well short on second and ten, and even managed to force a fumble.

Onto game three please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Kansas City Coyotes. Luchadores won 24 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Drip Dad of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 24 rushing attempts for 118 yards, an average run of 4.9 yards, a long of 18 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 15 yards.

Agent Tesla: Second quarter Drip Dad was a big part of the first touchdown drive of the game starting with a 7 yard run on third and three, continuing with a 9 yard run on third and two, and ending in a 9 yard touchdown run on first and goal. Arguably the next drive was even more impressive by Dad though as he ran it 17 yards on second and ten, run it 18 yards on the following first and ten, and then finally run it 10 yards on the subsequent first and ten. Oddly enough all three of those double digit runs saw Dad get tackled by the same player. Onto defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive end Owen Issac of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 7 tackles, 3 for loss, and 1 sack.

Agent Tesla: Second quarter on a first and ten Isaac made the play by getting the tackle just behind the line of scrimmage to start what would be a three and out off right. The closing minutes of the third quarter are where they really made their mark though starting with a tackle at the line of scrimmage on second and five, and ending in a 7 yard sack on third and five to force a punt.

We are onto the last game of the week now please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Pythons won 42 to 14. Offensive player of the game is running back Anders Christiansen of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 35 rushing attempts for 149 yards, an average run of 4.3 yards, a long of 19 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Agent Tesla: Third and seven early in the first quarter and Christiansen got the first down with a long 19 yard run. Partway through the second and Christiansen ran it 9 yards on a second and five to set up a first and goal, and then converted that into a 3 yard touchdown run. Just a couple minutes later Andersen had another long run of 17 yards on a second and six. That drive would also end in a 3 yard touchdown run by Christiansen, although this time on a third and goal after the two minute warning. One last defensive look for the week please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Elijah Torres of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.

Agent Tesla: Second quarter on the opening first and ten of the drive Torres secured a 6 yard sack that would help lead the drive to end in a punt. Their big play of the day though came midway through the third quarter on a third and twenty-two where they picked off the pass and ran it back 47 yards for the touchdown.

Thank you for joining us once again and we hope to see you next week!

Week #5&6 Broadcast

Agent Tesla: Welcome back! Double header day means double the highlights and so we are going to jump right into it. Sim Rep please show us the stats from the first game of week five to get us started!

Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Bondi Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 26 to 20. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Jackie Daytona of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 23 of 38 for 324 passing yards, an average pass of 14.1 yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and a passer rating of 92.4.

Agent Tesla: Early in the second quarter Daytona got their day started with a 20 yard pass completion on second and ten, and then finished the drive off a few players later with a 26 yard touchdown pass on a first and ten. Fourth quarter showed Daytona was better in even quarters with a 23 yard pass completion on second and seven, and then just like before he would end the drive with a 13 yard touchdown pass on first and ten. The biggest play of the day though would have to be his 21 yard touchdown pass in overtime to win the game. A close contest and we are now onto defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Margarine McButters (GM) of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 3 tackles, 2 passes defended, 2 interceptions, and 1 touchdown return.

Agent Tesla: An outstanding job there is no doubt, but we do not honor bots here. Instead the honor goes to defensive end Laxus Dreyar of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 4 tackles, 1 for loss, and 1 fumble recovery. Dreyar was terrific in run support with a stop at the line of scrimmage on first and ten early in the first quarter, and never allowed a run over three yards in their territory. The play that won them this honor though came in the fourth quarter on a first and ten where Dreyar was able to scoop up a fumble at the twenty-five yard line to give his team possession just outside the red zone.

Game two of week five please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 24 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Preston Parker of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 21 rushing attempts for 96 yards, an average run of 4.6 yards, a long of 10 yards, 2 receptions for 21 yards, an average reception of 10.5 yards, and a long of 11 yards.

Agent Tesla: Parker's first big play and their long run of the day came midway through the first quarter where they ran it 10 yards to convert a second and nine. Their longest play of the day meanwhile came in the second quarter where they converted a first and ten with an 11 yard reception. Just before the two minute warning in the second quarter they would tie their long run of 10 yards on a first and ten. Third quarter they did it again with a 10 yard run strangely enough on second and nine. Next is defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Vincent Jones of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 6 tackles, 1 for loss, and 1 sack.

Agent Tesla: Jones got the game started the right with a 6 yard sack on the very first play from scrimmage. That might not even be their best play though as in the third quarter on fourth and four they made the stop just behind the line of scrimmage to get a turnover on downs for their team.

Game three next please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep; Game Norfolk Seawolves at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 21 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Mr. Forty-Two of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 24 rushing attempts for 128 yards, an average run of 5.3 yards, and a long of 18 yards.

Agent Tesla: First carry of the day for Forty-Two early in the first quarter and he carried it 18 yards for the first down. Second quarter saw back to back highlights starting with a 12 yard run on first and ten, and followed by a 14 yard run on the next first and ten. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive end Ty Tyson of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 11 tackles, 1 for loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.

Agent Tesla: Tyson another quick starter as on third and twenty early in the first they made the tackle to knock the ball loose and scooped it up for the recovery as well. They would add their tackle for loss later in the first quarter as they met the runner 1 yard behind the line of scrimmage on third and five to hold the opposition to a field goal.

Last game of week five please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 22 to 7. Offensive player of the game is kicker Gluteus Maximus of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 1 of 1 on extra points, 1 of 1 on 20 to 29 yard field goals, 2 of 2 on 30 to 39 yard field goals, 2 of 2 on 40 to 49 yard field goals, 0 of 1 on 50+ yard field goals, 8 punts for 396 yards, an average punt of 49.5 yards, and a long of 63 yards.

Agent Tesla: Second quarter Maximus made both a 24 yard field goal on a fourth and two, and a 31 yard field goal on a fourth and five. Third quarter Maximus made their sole extra point attempt. The fourth quarter is where they came alive though with a 42 yard field goal on a fourth and three, a 41 yard field goal on a fourth and six, and finally a 36 yard field goal on a fourth and six. Once more to defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Alejandro Chainbreaker of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 14 tackles, 1 for loss, and 2 sacks.

Agent Tesla: Chainbreaker's first big play of the day came late in the second quarter on a third and thirteen where he stopped them well short to force a punt. Third quarter he did one better on a first and ten with a 6 yard sack on a drive that would end in a three and out. Fourth quarter he did it again with a 5 yard sack on second and ten to contribute to a three and out.

First game of week six please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 27 to 14. Offensive player of the game is running back Anders Christiansen with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 90 yards, an average run of 4.7 yards, a long of 17 yards, 2 receptions for 31 yards, an average reception of 15.5 yards, a long of 23 yards, and 1 touchdown.

Agent Tesla: Midway through the first quarter and Christiansen had their first big play of the night with a 12 yard run on first and ten. The second half saw their best plays though starting with a 17 yard run on first and ten midway through the third quarter. Early in the fourth quarter they finally found pay dirt with a 23 yard touchdown reception on second and ten. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Vincent Jones of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 12 tackles and 1 sack.

Agent Tesla: The somewhat uncommon double appearance on double header day is already a good sign for Jones! Early on in the first quarter Jones had their big play of the day in the form of a 6 yard sack on first and ten. Late in the first though Vincent Jones essentially ended a drive by themself as they made tackles short of the line to gain on first down, second down, and finally on third down to force a three and out punt on a fourth and eleven courtesy in part to penalty. Fourth quarter on a third and ten Jones made another big stop after allowing just 4 yards to force a punt. They would also have the last tackle of the game which would be short of the line to gain.

Second game week six please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Dallas Birddogs. Royals won 30 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Cobra Kai of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 31 rushing attempts for 160 yards, an average run of 5.2 yards, a long of 16 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 24 yards.

Agent Tesla: First drive of the game for Kai included a 7 yard run on the first and ten to open the drive, an 11 yard run on a first and ten, a 13 yard run on the following first and ten, a 9 yard run late in the drive on a first and ten, and a 7 yard touchdown run on the second and one that followed. Kai would also have a 16 yard run on first and ten later in the first quarter. Then would do it again with a 16 yard run on a second and ten in the last few minutes of the first quarter. Just before the third quarter Kai would have their long 24 yard reception to convert a second and five. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Steven Wadham of the London Royals with a stat line of 5 tackles, 3 passes defended, and 3 interceptions.

Agent Tesla: First quarter on a first and fifteen Wadham picked off the pass at their own twenty yard line and ran it back 68 yards to give their team an instant red zone opportunity. Second quarter Steven made the stop at the three yard line with another pick that they returned for 6 yards to save a touchdown and give their team some breathing room. Third quarter for the hat trick as they picked off the pass in opponent territory this time and still returned it for 8 yards to set the team up right in field goal range.

Onto game three of week six please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Kansas City Coyotes. Grey Ducks won 20 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Xander Creed of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 21 rushing attempts for 84 yards, an average run of 4 yards, a long of 14 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 2 yards.

Agent Tesla: Midway through the third saw Creed's first big run good for 10 yards on a second and ten. They would follow it up just a couple plays later on a second and eight with their long of the day a 14 yard run. Creed also opened the fourth quarter with a 2 yard touchdown run on first and goal. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker A.J. Lucas of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 15 tackles.

Agent Tesla: Lucas contributed to the first three and out of the game on the opening drive by allowing just 3 yards on first and ten, and then just 2 yard on second and seven. Later in the first Lucas would force a punt themselves with a tackle short of the line to gain on a third and ten. Near the end of the second quarter they would do it again with a tackle well short on third and fifteen.

Last game of the doubleheader please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Bondi Beach Buccaneers at Norfolk Seawolves. Seawolves won 31 to 20. Offensive player of the game is running back Mr. Forty-Two of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 32 rushing attempts for 135 yards, an average run of 4.2 yards, a long of 15 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 3 yards.

Agent Tesla: Another double appearance by the magnificent Mr. Forty-Two! Forty-Two's second play of the day was a big one as they ran it 11 yards to convert a third and five. Their third down performance continued later in the first quarter when they ran it 10 yards to convert a third and four. Just before the second quarter they converted a second and three with an 11 yard run. That play put them just outside of the red zone, and once they were by the goal line early in the second quarter Forty-Two was trusted to take it across which they did for a 1 yard touchdown on second and goal. Midway through the second quarter Forty-Two converted a first and fifteen with a 15 yard run good for their long of the day. Then immediately followed it up with a 9 yard run on first and ten. Just once more to defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Tia Tamera (GM) of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 6 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1 interception touchdown.

Agent Tesla: No bots! Instead we will recognize safety Brian Nelson of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 6 tackles. Between their contribution with a stop on first down to a three and out in the first quarter to their closing out a three and out midway through the third quarter with their tackle short of the line to gain on third and ten they are infinitely more deserving than a bot.

That wraps it up for this set of highlights and we thank you for taking the time to read them. See you all next time!
