*S26 ISFL Redraft - RussDrivesTheBus - 01-03-2021

#204 - CHI – Karmichael Hunt – K/P - .simo – S23
Knowing that their offence will start off a little lacklustre due to being a defence first team, it was important to pick up a Kicker/Punter who will not only help the team whilst the offence underperformed with booming punts, but also when the team did reach their point of excellence, a kicker who could slot extra points whilst blindfolded. Chicago turned to the Australian talent of Karmichael Hunt, a promising talent that looks to be on the verge or the upper groupings of Kickers and Punters that can also develop with the team with a great outlook and calm head on his shoulders. Every team needs a resident Australian and Hunt is the guy for Chicago's special teams.

#205 - PHI - Danny King - RB -DanE got dis - S23
My current player in Berlin. Probably best known for stealing all of Joe's touchdowns in Berlin, his player always seems to be hyper effective when used and finds a way to contribute. He has enough TPE and age to be a solid RB for a while even though he’s flat broke.

#206 - COL - Maurice Virtanen - OL - BaconBrother - S18
I flubbed my lines with this pick. BaconBrother is a fine user, but there was so much more value at Offensive Line that this pick was really unjustified. He is the worst Lineman on his team by an uncomfortable margin. If I remember correctly, I was pretty stressed at this particular point in the process, so I drafted a name I was comfortable with that had a decent amount of TPE. The issue there is that guys like Tremblay and Archstone were still on the board and would have been infinitely better picks. To reiterate, Bacon is not a bad user, but this player was a bad pick at this point in the draft in terms of age and quality.

#207 - HON - Zee Rechs - TE - ZootTX - S22
Is this who they named the zoot suit riots after? I may have to ask him about that sometime. Not exactly a max earner, but it seems they’ve gotten into a groove as of late & should work well as an extra blocker so cheese boy doesn’t get grated.

#208 - BER - Avon Blocksdale Jr. - Tight End - iamslm22 - S19
We’re finally taking somebody that’s in regression. Slm hasn’t been the best earner through his career, but I’ve only ever heard nice things about the user. Blocksdale is a solid player this far in their career, so hopefully they can hold on a bit longer until we can get a younger player ready to step into this spot.

#209 - YKW - Etrigan T. Slayer - Defensive End - Thiath - - S25
Again, and again, drafting good users and locker room guys is always at the front compared to some other things. Thiath is a great user and I immediately knew that I wanted to draft him. It was a position of need to sure up the defensive line and it worked out perfectly. I also wanted to start focusing on younger and more potential here than snagging high TPE but almost retired players.

#210 - SAR - Chuck Roth - DT - zeagle1 - - S25
The Sailfish may have to get creative drafting a third DT instead of digging for a DE, but Chuck Roth is worth it. Although he has yet to take the field for an ISFL franchise, Chuck Roth has shown great promise at the DSFL level, and the hope is that will transfer to the big time. Zeagle as a user is somebody a team should be thrilled to build around and is notably one of the most vocal users in stream chats week in and week out. This isn’t the ideal pick, but it is worthwhile for the Sailfish, no doubt.

#211 - SAR - Benoit Blanco - S - xQCFamous - S23
Benoit Blanco is the final addition to the defensive backfield for the Sailfish, and although xQC as a user is a bit of a controversial figure, there is no doubt this team and the league generally are better with him around. Benoit Blanco can easily fill whatever role the Sailfish have left for him, and xQC, although he left the Arizona GM role in frustration, is still a smart cookie with the potential to add something special to your war room. This is a solid late addition for the Sailfish, one they should be happy to have.

#212 - YKW - Felix Archstone - Offensive Line - GlimsTC - - S25
Sticking with my new focus on younger players under great users. I was able to snag GlimsTC here and super stoked about it. Having another GM on the team is a blessing, the more knowledge and experience the better. And it also helps to snag a great Offensive Lineman. I believe in their value. Where some may not.

#213 - BER - Alejandro Chainbreaker - Linebacker - Sermokala - S24
Sermo has fallen a bit behind the rest of the people in his class in terms of TPE because of a little suspension that he received, which caused him to fall in this redraft. That’s fine by me, as I’m able to grab a max earner in round 16. As the Grey Ducks GM I can say that he’s been much better, calmer, and nicer in the locker room ever since his suspension, so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about there at all. He’s going to be a mainstay at linebacker for us for a long time in this fake league.

#214 - HON - Zach Crossley - WR - ajtigger - - S25
Another - S25[/b] SaberCat? Man, if only I could trade for Crowder to complete the set. AJ’s quiet, but he keeps going about his business & I certainly appreciate that. On the field, Crossley’s a sneaky little bugger that likes to vulture targets near the goal line, just ask Ty.

#215 - COL - Ragnar Krashwagen - TE - CementHands - S24
Now we’re getting back on track a bit. Krashwagen is a Balanced TE and his stats will definitely corroborate that story. I have him ranked as the second best blocking Tight End this season, with 35 Pancakes and 0 Sacks allowed as of Week 14. His receiving numbers are more than adequate with well over 400 yards and 3 tuddies. Ragnar’s versatility should be a key asset in keeping this offense humming and his youth will keep him successful for another 4-5 seasons. After the Virtanen pick, this felt very much like a “Get Right” pick and I think I’ve done just that.

#216 - PHI - Rayne Gordon - WR - RainDelay - S19
I’m sorry Joshua Campbell, Rayne had way too much value here for me to not add him to our team. He will take the Wide receiver 1 role for the next season or two while his value continues to wind down but in this case getting a vet of this level this late is a much appreciated addition.

#217 - CHI – Owen Holliday – WR – speculadora – - S25
Needing more than just one receiver and looking again towards the future of a juggernaut offence, built together through years of playing alongside each other, Chicago draft the natural talent that is Owen Holliday. Whilst Korbin has the speed game, Owen Holliday has superb route running ability, proving a real ability to play in the slot or a real expertise in performing a slant route. Holliday has a lot of potential within him that has continuously been shown as talent on the field and with more game time under his belt, that potential will turn into pure talent and skill, a reliable and remarkable pair of hands and a constant target for Caliban at the helm of what can quickly become an offence unable to be controlled if its rolling by opposition defences.

#218 - NYS - Jeeeeroy Lenkins - Cornerback - LewisMelville - - S25
Just like he did in his DSFL draft, ol’ Lewis fell way further than he should have. And just like I did in his DSFL draft, I happily scoop him up here. He’s a max or near max earner. He’s super active in the locker room. He’s actually a team captain for the Berlin Fire Salamanders this season as a rookie in the ISFL. We’re going to slot him in starting at cornerback for us as he grows into his prime. I’m happy to get one of my friends on my fake team.

#219 - AZ - Dave Batista - TE - Frick_Nasty - - S25
We’re about to get real Nasty up in here! Frick had one heck of a LB and helped do something great for the Yeti. I was hopeful that he may be able to build the same type of player at TE but i believe that isn't the long term plan. For this team he fills in as my TE for the long term. With our talented young pass catching core I'm confident we can spread the wealth and make them all look like Pro-bowl players.

#220 - NOLA - Steco Ocewilder - Defensive End - soppychico - S18
Yeah, yeah, I know, I said I was doing young players now, but with Defensive End a need and having an experienced user and player is never a bad thing. I do not know soppychico that well or if at all. But one or two seasons with him will be better than none.

#221 - SJS - Nero Alexander - DE - Shadyshoelace - S15
The oldest player drafted by the Sabercats but one the fans from and of San Jose rejoice over, the most experienced defensive end in the league has been drafted and his form despite his age has only started to get better than ever before in his career. Almost a lock for being on the Hall of Fame ballot at minimum, Nero can see out his career teaching the future superstar of Toblerone whilst performing at the top of his game, proving that age is just a number. His presence on the field lifts the entire defence and worries offences and his recent streak of form only further warrants him more respect be given on the field. If Purchase, Leonard and Quinn are the veterans and anchors of the secondary, then Alexander is the anchor of the defensive line that is ever dependable and ever terrorising.

#222 - BAL - Griff Oberwald - WR - Aenir - S23
My ambassador of derpcat, Aenir is another user that goes way back in this league. With still 4 seasons until regression sets in, Oberwald should be a nice young heir to take over for DTF once he retires.

#223 - OCO - Bob Roberts - S - zaynzk - - S25
Ok, now it’s getting ridiculous. I know it seems like I’m a big smelly liar, but I swear to you I had no idea I was drafting only 100 Speed players, but Roberts does in fact fit that mold. Again, it is unintentional, but I am not mad in the slightest. Defense needs speed to counter all the powerful offenses. Although as we’ve all grown accustomed to, he will undoubtedly be dragged by some 400 TPE Receivers anyway. But, when that isn’t happening, he’ll continue to make plays on the ball like he has shown to be capable of in his rookie campaign. Excited to add zayn to our growing locker room and watch him become a fantastic replacement for the aging Thor.

#224 - AUS - James Gath - CB - Beefstu409 - - S25
Since making this pick, I’ve heard widespread whispers that James Gath is IA, which is a true tragedy. James Gath had the makings to be a solid CB, and Beefstu was developing into one of those users who could be mentioned alongside the likes of Crunk and Slate. I hope that he can make a triumphant return to the league sooner rather than later; I miss the kid.

#225 - AUS - Sam Roes - DE - Roezam - - S25
Sam Roes appears to be another - S25[/b] user gone before his time, another tragic hit to the - S25[/b] class. Roezam was a solid user with a ton of upside, and Sam Roes was earning steadily, all of the signs of a promising prospect. This is another player I hope to see make a return; Sam Roes is far from a lost cause, and he’ll slot in nicely for this new look Copperheads roster.

#226 - OCO - Simon Tremblay - OL - Briedaqueduc - S21
Rub-a-dub-dub fair rubs in a tub…or something like that. Tremblay has been one of the top Offensive Linemen in the ISFL for the last couple seasons, and looks to keep that pace for the next 2-3 seasons. To be able to get this kind of player in the 17th round is really a testament to how deep the ISFL currently is. Tremblay being from the S21 class does mean that he will start regressing in a season, so I will need to look at Offensive Linemen in the next couple drafts to find a suitable replacement to start grooming in the DSFL.

#227 - BAL - Arik Eller - DE - Ace - S23
I’m gonna sound like a broken record here, but Ace is another user I’ve known for a long time & while we’ve certainly had our share of issues, we’ve patched things up & he should fit in with this group since we have a bunch of Chicago guys already on the roster.

#228 - SJS - Brick Van Sanzo - DE - snazzlepuss22 - - S25
Whilst many might overlook Sanzo for the more anticipated star in Toblerone or the legendary veteran of Alexander, Sanzo is in himself a bright player with a bright future ahead of himself. Whilst he has had quiet seasons so far, the Sabercats are hoping that putting him under the mentorship of Alexander and gifted talent of Toblerone, that it can wear off onto Sanzo and turn him into the star on the other edge with Toblerone for the future. This pick is quite late into the draft, the amount of possible payoff in this pic makes it quite a value steal for the Sabercats, with only the future telling just how much value this pick holds.

#229 - NOLA - Dermot Lavelle Jr. - Cornerback - White Cornerback - S16
Yes, he’s deep in regression and he may be getting old but like I said with a few other users. Getting his experience and locker room presence was more to me than getting a young player here. At this point we needed a third corner back and I felt this was the best user to be able to slot in there for one more season and let him help us along the way.

#230 - AZ - Tony Yeboah - S - Frazzle14 - - S25
5 - S25[/b] players in a row. I keep bringing in the young talent understanding that they’ll continue to grow and so will the team. Tony Yeboah will play Nb as a safety. It's not ideal as I originally wanted a legit Corner to play Nickelback, but I’ll roll with what's best for the team and in this situation it's Tony Yeboah. This fills out my nickel defense which I expect we would play most often as with most ISFL teams.

#231 - NYS - Jimi DeSoto - Linebacker - Jimi64 - - S25
Here’s another outrageous pick, possibly the steal of the draft. I don’t know Jimi, but with this pick, we’re getting a max earner that’s already well on his way to being at an effective TPE to hold down a starting spot in the ISFL, and as a member of the - S25[/b] draft class, he’s only going to get better. That’s not all though - he’s also a GM of the Norfolk Seawolves. They’re no Ducks, but that’s still awesome to snag this late in the draft!

#232 - CHI – Mark Walker – WR – deadlunatic – - S25
In the very next pick, Chicago takes fellow - S25[/b] draftee and wide receiver Mark Walker, another future threat and star in the making, demonstrating just as much talent as Holiday. Walker is his own right is a skilled route runner, whereas Holiday was best skilled at slants, Walker has an uncanny ability of running the out or comeback routes, knowing exactly where his feet are to ensure he remains inbounds when catching the ball. Having such a dynamic trio of wide receivers with different specialisations that make them some of the best at what they do, Chicago’s wide receiver corps is young, eager and talented, and will take a lot of studying to try and find a way to stop them and force the offence off the field.

#233 - PHI - Mathias Hanyadi - RB - CLGRampage - S18
Mathias is old, but he's had one hell of a career and in this draft he has value to someone like me who sat on RB for a long time. Similar to what Gordon did to Campbell he will Leapfrog Danny King into the RB1 role. I’m confident CLG would like this to help continue a monster career for Hanyadi.

#234 - COL - Mason Gillion - CB - EMPER0R - - S25
The roster limits established before the draft began allowed for three Defensive “Flex” picks and this is the first of those picks for Colorado. My plan for these spots was to take one more Defensive Lineman, preferably interior, and then a couple young Defensive Backs with potential and versatility. With those criteria in mind, Gillion seemed an obvious choice. He’s another - S25[/b] player, so he has plenty of time to earn behind the current Secondary and become a star down the road. He’s not a max earner, but this late in the process, he is a great value pick. And, as mentioned before, he has plenty of time to get up to speed. Which for him will cap at 100 because I honestly somehow keep doing that.

#235 - HON - Nuniq Annastesia - DT - Brucehum - S22
An active, 500 TPE D tackle in round 17? How was he not scooped up earlier & where do I sign? Still a couple seasons from regression, he’ll be a nice complement to Meatball on the line.

#236 - BER - Mike Rotchburns - Running Back - SchoolboyShue - - S25
And for my 28th homer pick, I’m taking a Grey Duck! Rotchburns was our offensive MVP in Minnesota in - S25[/b], and I’d love to be reunited with him in our fake league here. Fat Boi Mikey R is a thumper and has already got his career off to a good start. The ISFL is a running back by committee league, and spelling Tatsu Nakamura with Mike Rotchburns means trouble for opposing defenses. They are also a few draft classes apart, which means that Rotchburns will be able to pick up the slack as Nakamura starts to wane later in his career.

#237 - YKW - Bane Kaʻanāʻanā - Defensive Tackle - Adwyer87 - S23
I met Adwyer when I first joined, one of the more welcoming people when I was being scouted. So, for me being able to grab him as an experienced user, position of need was a nice get this late in the draft. I know he is not around anymore. But sometimes we gotta take what we think is best and who knows what could happen.

#238 - SAR - Harley Fank - WR - Beebob - - S25
Harley Fank has played a versatile role as a WR3/TE2 for NY, and I figure he’s the type of player that can do the same for the Sailfish. Eventually, Harley Fank is going to flourish into the WR2 slot, as he is slowly catching Sean Snyder, which is…actually exactly what he’ll be doing with this new look Sailfish team. Beebob is also just a pleasant user to have around the team, and I really want to see him have a ton of success with Harley Fank.

#239 - SAR - Azarius Ranger - DE - MobiausGrander - S24
Azarius Ranger is the lone DE for this Sailfish squad, which presents an interesting predicament. Azarius Ranger doesn’t appear to be IA quite yet, but his earnings are a bit lower, meaning this team could use some help at DE. This is far from the worst problem to have, but ideally, this team wouldn’t have any problems to begin with. That said, Mobi is a good dude, and if he’s still around, he’s a useful addition to a defensive line that sorely needed an edge piece.

#240 - YKW - Jacob Small - Kicker/Punter - bjkman - S22
I do not know bjkman very much or at all. But he joined around the same time I did, with both of us being S22 classmates. He is a very solid earner. And will fit in great with this team. Super happy to be able to get him this late.

#241 - BER - Buck Thornton - Safety - FurFurFurson - S22
The man. The myth. The legend. Ol’ Buck Thornton may be IA now, but he continues to live on in all S22 and S23 Grey Ducks’ hearts. He’s an absolute legend in Minnesota because of his two seasons that he spent there. He was one of the most dominant players in the DSFL through his two seasons, and one of the best Grey Ducks defensive backs of all time. He was a back to back safety of the year in the DSFL during his time and an extremely nice guy. I wouldn’t expect him to come back now, but having his player on the team just makes me happy. His player can hold down the NB spot for a season or two until we can grab a better, more active player to snag the spot. I also didn’t notice that there was still a certain active Ducks safety left on the board or I may have picked them Sad

#242 - HON - Tomage McGullager - CB - Philliesphan96 - S23
While he may have bad taste in sports teams, Phillies actually isn’t a bad guy. My former GM in GRSL & a current GM in PBE, he’s easily accessible even though he may not be the strongest earner here & people like that are always useful as depth pieces.

#243 - COL - Blago Kokot - K/P - Goat_Whisperer - S24
This boy can kick. Straight up. That’s not typically preferable when kicking, but you catch my drift. One of the youngest kickers in the league, Blago is blasting balls all over the place. He’s got an 81-yard punt to his name and a 61-yard FG. Both are the longest respective kicks this year. When you’ve got a kid with a leg like that, you’re almost never out of scoring range. However, sim gunna sim, so you never truly know when you’ll get the chance. That’s why I went with the kicker who managed to record bombs from the farthest out, so when the sim does actually give you a chance from distance, there’s a chance it goes in.

#244 - PHI - Cmon Skiuuup - TE - AirCrou - - S25
AirCrou probably wants to kill me since he has Hall of Fame goals but I keep drafting him as a back up TE but value is value. He will be used as a WR3 and TE 2 for now till I likely rotate Evans and Skiuup at WR/TE just to see how difficult that will be for opponents to deal with.
#245 - CHI – Dick Thruster – OL – PersonMann – S23
No offence is complete without a formidable offensive line to keep them protected, buying them time for plays to develop, a man to get open or to keep defenders at bay and open up a whole for a run. Dick Thruster really knows how to get himself in deep and Chicago picks him up as their man and bodyguard. Whilst Thruster may have a bit of a reputation for not training hard, rumours about never coming early for extra reps, there is no denying that he knows how to use what he has. He is great with his hands and how to be rough and tough with defenders without drawing penalties or causing injuries. He has a lot of stamina and can go all night long, and only will make his team feel better the longer he plays with them, a rock solid pick up for the future.

#246 - NYS - Beat - Safety - DonnoMania - S19
With this pick we’re going for someone that’s a bit older, as a member of the S19 draft class, but they are active and have enough TPE to remain effective. And if they continue to earn they can remain effective for at least one more season as well, I believe. I think that Beat may also be an accidental homer pick, as I believe he was a member of the Marshals/Grey Ducks. Even when I don’t mean to do it, I keep on doing it. Fine by me.

#247 - AZ - Alex Reed - WR - NylarthePhoenix - - S25
I shared a team with Nylar for a few seasons at the end of his last player's career. What a heck of a career it was! I have no doubt they will do big things with their new WR and adding an established user like this even as a WR3 is a great move. Additionally I do not have a speed RB so playing them in the flex wasn't as viable as it may be for other teams. We’ll call up Reed and let them play in the slot and potentially TE 2 as it may fit based on what i have right now.

#248 - NOLA - Dorfus Jimbo Jr. - Offensive Line - ScorpXCracker - S21
Long time user and still updating. Scorp was here and having a user offensive lineman is better than paying a bot. Maybe I could talk him into being around more. Again, as always, happy to snag solid and experienced users here that present value.

#249 - SJS - Friedrich Vequain - WR - Sutj - S22
After 9 consecutive picks of defence, Sabercats finally go back to offence to fill out that world class outfit, in which this late into the draft, Vequain promises to be a solid slot option with his speed, agility and hands. He will be able to get more experience in the league and work to learn the team’s system before taking over the role of WR2 once O’Leary loses his battle with father time, at which point Friedrich will be poised to seamlessly transition into that role with the extra responsibility. He won’t light up the scoring board or go viral with his playstyle, but he plays an important role in rounding out the offensive unit.

#250 - BAL - Rigby Raccoon - TE - dieselj123 - S23
Let’s make one thing clear, Diesel’s a PBE guy first & foremost, but the market for a 2nd TE is getting very thin at this point & if I’m GMing this team, I feel like I can at least get ahold of him if necessary.

#251 - OCO - Carl Wheezer - DT - LGMForever - S23
Carl Wheezer is the friend that all boy geniuses need. He also happens to be built like the kind of interior Defensive Lineman that will slot right in as the last member of the new Otters front seven. LGM has quite literally been around forever, although he has been IA for a while now, which explains why he’s still kicking around this late in the draft. However, his player is solid enough to fill the gap I have at Tackle, and if he does decide to come back, he’ll be welcomed onto his new team, which just happens to be the same as his old team, just with a lot of new faces.

#252 - AUS - Adam C. Spencer - WR - AdamS - - S25
If it weren’t for the fact that he plays WR, there is no chance that Adam C. Spencer falls this far. He’ll join his current teammate, Brock Bodenhamer, as the supporting cast for Kai Sakura, which makes this WR corps extremely dangerous. AdamS is well known across the league, and carries a bit of a mixed reputation to his old stomping grounds, but he knows what he’s talking about most of the time, and he’s clawed his way to titles, so denying his ability, especially this late in the draft, would be a fool’s move.

#253 - AUS - Datsum Phastbawlls - K/P - Rabidsponge21 - S23
Eventually, every team needs to find its K/P, and you could do far, far worse than Datsum Phastbawlls. Since entering the league, Datsum Phastbawlls has been as good as anybody kicking the ball, and that’s all you can really ask for. Rabid is more dedicated to the PBE than the ISFL, but at the end of the day, that’s the reason to play K/P, and he has capitalized on that recognition.

#254 - OCO - Cleg Manclaw - TE - Cynoblaze - - S25
Cyno, a fellow Minnesota Grey Duck, is a lovely user who is currently taking some time away from the league. He is a great person to have in the locker room and I have enjoyed the interactions I had with him in voice chat on a number of occasions. Similar to LGM, when Cyno does come back, and I do hold out hope that he will, he will be welcomed by his new teammates and some of his old ones in the form of the Ducks that are already on the team.

#255 - BAL - Donald McBobby - LB - bjbren17 - - S25
You may also know this guy as Bobby McDonald from PBE (see what he did there?) & while I believe this to be a secondary league for him, he’s been earning exceptionally well since joining 2 seasons ago. He’ll be a nice addition to our defense to come off the edge, either as a linebacker or on the line.

#256 - SJS - Arlington Heights - DE - MisObvious - S24
Reaching the end of the draft, it is at the point where most starting positions have been filled and depth of talent is starting to scrap low. Looking for backups to cover all parts of the field, the Sabercats first step up to cover their defensive line with Arlington Heights. Whilst he has not shown the most impressive display of skills and ability so far in his career, Sabercats are banking that their team culture that they build from this redraft along with the talent in the defensive line room can transform Heights from a mediocre talent to a much better role and situation player. This pick also establishes that Sabercats do not like defensive tackles and only wish to play defensive ends.

#257 - NOLA - Shane Masters - Defensive Tackle - ShaneM86 - S17
He may not be around anymore, but a Defensive Tackle body is better than none.

#258 - AZ - Tyron Brackenridge - LB - Lowlycrib - S17
This is my first player taken in regression but I saved it for a great player. This will force one of my younger linebackers out of the line up in nickel but this is better for the teams near future. Long term as Brackenridge regresses they will likely move to the 3rd Lb in the 3-4 formation for the long term. But with 976 TPe at the time of the draft they have plenty of life left in this league.

#259 - NYS - James Hoffman - Cornerback - kingsleigher - - S25
Here we’ll grab another member of the fantastic - S25[/b] draft class that is just packed with talent. Hoffman is active and earning, which means we can work with them. They will be our nickel back, which means they don’t need nearly as much TPE as the outside corners to be effective. My player ended up on the Defensive Rookie of the Year ballot as a nickel back around the same TPE as James Hoffman is currently at, so maybe we can expect that out of them in their inaugural year with the Hot Lizzies.

#260 - CHI – Mike Hockhertz – LB – Cdub2 – S18
Chicago goes back to finish off their defence, looking to get some extra personnel to round out the team and they first look towards some extra day one readiness as they take Mike Hockhertz late in the draft.  Whilst his time in the league is closer to ending than it is starting, He still has a few seasons left where he can offer his services as both a trust player and mentor to the younger generation of line-backers that Chicago have drafted themselves.

#261 - PHI - Jake Fenick - K/P - xenoxthelegend - S25
I wasn't sure how to value kicker, but since I’ve joined the league it seems that getting an active kicker now is easier than ever and I took advantage of that by getting a promising younger kicker at 262 picks into this draft. At 381 TPE I'm more than confident in their ability to make the special teams plays needed to help us win games.

#262 - COL - Timmy Dimbi - DT - Tylar - S25
I have to admit that I had some large questions about this pick. Anyone who spells Tyler with an “A” is a borderline psychopath, but this late in the draft, some compromises have to be made. He’s an active Defensive Tackle from - S25[/b], so I cannot be mad at that. He is currently cultivating TPE in the DSFL, so his player attributes are a bit misleading. I think that’s one of the reasons he is still on the board with only a few rounds to go. Dimbi and Simwell should make a nice young combo of interior power to compliment Ruschmann coming off the edge. This pick has me much more excited about my Front-Seven than I had previously hoped to be.

#263 - HON - Mattress Cadaire - DE - MattressCadaire - S24
Okay, now this isn’t fair. How is there a young, active DE available this late? I know he’s not the best earner, but come on. He’ll slide in next to Goku, Nuniq & Meatball to terrorize offensive lines.

#264 - BER - Connor Quigley - Offensive Line - WhatAmUs - - S25
Connor Quigley isn’t the greatest earner in the - S25[/b] class, but he had no business falling this far. I will happily scoop him up as my OL pick. I remember scouting him for the Chicago Butchers when he was entering the ISFL draft and I really enjoyed talking to him. I remember Glims told me that WhatAmUs was his “sleeper pick”, saying he probably wouldn’t be drafted super high, but that he was a great dude and he thought he would remain active. That has proven to be a solid assessment of him, from what I’ve seen. He’s actually become one of the GMs of the Kansas City Coyotes with Glims. Drafting someone with GM experience near the 20th round? Sounds pretty familiar to me…

#265 - YKW - Bender B. Rodriguez - Wide Receiver - Pazuzu - S18
He retired after we started this draft. But damn it. I was hoping to persuade him to keep powering through for a bit longer. Maybe this entitles me to his new CB? Either way, I was happy to make this pick here.

#266 - SAR - Silver Banana - K/P - golden_apricot - S20
Very similar to the last selection for Austin, the Sailfish select a multi-league K/P here. Silver Banana has had an outstanding run at the K/P in Colorado, possibly even holding the team’s record for points scored. GA, like Rabid, focuses his attention elsewhere (the SHL, in this instance), but again, recognition of the demands of his position have helped him succeed.

#267 - SAR - Buster Bawlls - RB - ryd029aird13 - - S25
I would like to take this opportunity to sing the praises of ryd. Not many players are bold enough to come into this league as a fresh user, select the blocking back archetype, and stick to it. Ryd accepted that challenge and has flourished in his role. Buster Bawlls isn’t the type of player you feed the rock to, but damn if he doesn’t pound back pancakes like nobody’s business, and he flexes easily between the FB and TE positions. He may not have a typical build, but this player is a stud.

#268 - YKW - 3’ Jeffrey - Defensive End - JSS - S23
Another user that comes and goes but has been here for a while. I drafted JSS in hopes of maybe bringing him back to dominate our Defensive line but who knows. Either way, this was the pick I wanted to make this late in the draft that had some value.

#269 - BER - Saba Donut - Wide Receiver - SabaDonutMan - S17
Poor Saba has fallen so far due to his old age. Don’t worry old man, you can come stay with us in Berlin. We will happily welcome one of the more well known receivers in the league over the last few seasons at pick 269, as that feels like an absolute steal. Saba will actually be our WR1. It would normally sound like a bad thing, getting your first string, primary receiver at pick 269 in the 20th round, but that just goes to show how much age was valued in this redraft. Sometimes you have got to look past that and grab someone that will be able to remain at a decent TPE for a few seasons, and that’s what I did here.

#270 - HON - William Alexander - WR - morsy - S22
I think this might be the first actual Honolulu player I’ve picked here. It’s really unfortunate that this one never stuck because I remember morsy having a ton of upside when they first joined. On the bright side, it looks like they’re still somewhat reachable anyway.

#271 - COL - Running Back - RB - Nykonax - S23
At this stage in the process, there were only a few Running Backs left on the board, almost all of which were IA or low earners. That being said, I messed this one up too. There were a number of young and semi-active options that I missed here and I feel bad about it. For example, Anders Christiansen did not get drafted in this project, and he would have been a better pick for sure. There were even three Running Backs taken almost immediately after this pick that would have been better choices. I got in my own head and rushed the pick, and this is what I get. In a hypothetical situation, I would drop Running Back and pick up Christiansen once this is all over.

#272 - PHI - Sigismund Sternenstaub - DT - Mongoose87 - S24
I still needed 1 more Dline player for my team and I’ll add Sigismund to fill that role.
It doesn't look as if they have been active but it shouldn't be too big of an issue to fill in future drafts and shouldn't hold us back to much from our championship goals.

#273 - CHI – Terry Yaki – RB – Doomraider – - S25
The league has really proven that teams need to be utilising a running back by committee strategy and with only Joseph Petrongolo drafted so far, Chicago brings onboard their second running back in order to have someone in rotation with him, Terry Yaki. With less experience and raw talent displayed, Yaki will be the one backing up Petrongolo, doing a lot of the hard runs to allow him a short break. Yaki has a very solid spin move that paired with his speed, can become a handful for defences.

#274 - NYS - Ashley Owens - Running Back - run_CMC - S17
Similar to what the New York Silverbacks did in the real ISFL, I plan on letting Ashley Owens run all over the league to close out their career. They won’t be getting the same treatment as they did in the real league, going with the primary back method, but they will be splitting carries with Nicholas Ayers, which is something at least. I don’t know the user well, but I’ve seen them in the management server and they seem like an okay enough person, and woelkers likes them so I’d probably like them as well.

#275 - AZ - Kichwa Jones - RB - Howsour - S22
If i remember correctly Kichwa is IA, However they have plenty of TPE and a great archetype to play a RB2. I’ll slide them in and be able to use them in a RB2 role or even some slot if needed. They’ll not be nearly as valuable long term once regression is knocking on the door but RB seems a position I could target in the hypothetical draft that would happen. I also don't need to type as much as IA’s.

#276 - NOLA - Chris Kross - Wide Receiver - Voltaqe - S21
A great user who has moved on from his WR, but that is ok, again maybe this establishes my rights to his new CB. But one season of Chris will help our passing game.

#277 - SJS - Mike Lee - WR - youngcricket - S22
The last offensive player picked up by San Jose is Mike Lee, a young receiver who will be used to cover some of the biggest names in the position. With this pick, the Sabercats express their interest in sending it as fast as possible, with all three of their receivers specialising in speed. Lee will ensure that the other receivers get their rest to be able to go all out sprinting throughout the entire game and be a part of the rotation to extract the best out of all receivers whilst selflessly not caring about their own statistics and role, choosing team success over personal glory.

#278 - BAL - Dexter Jackson - LB - KillaScrilla - - S25
The artist formerly known as Action Jackson, this is another guy I’ve had the pleasure of working with in San Jose & while he may not be the strongest earner from the - S25[/b] class, he’s another one that I believe I could reach if necessary, but at the very least, he’ll serve as a nice depth piece.

#279 - OCO - Jeremiah Zelos - Hallmonitor_20 - S24
This pick might be controversial; I’m really not sure. Hall was on the wrong end of a sim error that rightfully pissed him off. I won’t get into the details, because this isn’t a post about that and it’s not my place to do so. In any case, he took some time away. However, to be able to get a user like him with my 20th pick…unreal. He’s back and has been updating, so Zelos is going to be a fine addition to my defense. But we get to add Hall’s GM experience to our already loaded locker room as well. This is definitely a win in my book, and if we’re using “Steal of the Draft” cards, I’m playing it here.

#280 - AUS - Bronko Mills - RB - PaytonM34 - - S25
My teams in this draft are going to foil quite nicely. The last pick for Sarasota, for instance, was a blocking back, Buster Bawlls; here, we see another blocking back, Bronko Mills. Again, this isn’t the typical RB build, but it does have its value, and part of that value is versatility. Plus, this user has a ton of value; Payton is a long time vet of this league, and he has taken an unconventional path to greatness more than once. This is a great grab for the Copperheads, one they’ll be proud of for a long time.

#281 - AUS - Inspectah Deck - LB - W.Sconnie - S20
A LB flex is a good piece to have around, and for the Copperheads, that piece is Inspectah Deck. I believed Sconnie is IA at this point, but at this point in the draft, most options are, and at least Inspectah Deck has a bit of gas left in the tank.

#282 - OCO - J. J. “Jay” Jay-Jaymison - K/P - DGarrett32 - S21
I won’t lie, once Matty McDairmid came off the board, I was reserved to take a kicker very late in the draft. And, if you’ve been reading these blurbs, then you know who took him from me. I don’t deny that kicker is an important position, because it absolutely is. However, time and time again, we’ve seen low TPE kickers do incredibly well. For example, as of week 14, JJJJJ is 100% on the season with 64 kicks. Now, he isn’t the most active, but his leg will still be serviceable for a few more seasons while I look for another set of legs to perhaps step in for him. Can’t ask for much more at this stage.

#283 - BAL - Taylor Cooper - WR - gargaroff - S23
Can’t say I know this user too well unfortunately & I apologize for that, but hey a 400 TPE receiver that’s seemingly still active this late in the draft? Yes please, sign me up.

#284 - SJS - Teddy Utterstruzen - S - teddyoojo - S25
Wow. The Sabercats management goes crazy, the fans go ballistic. Getting such talent in the second last round of the draft makes everyone go insane. Like most picks at this stage of the draft, Teddy is not going to set the world on fire, but he definitely has the aspirations to become one of the better known names in the business of picking off quarterbacks and ruining the hopes and dreams of wide receivers. With just a little bit of extra attention during training, he can most certainly bloom into a beautiful role player, winning the fans heart as one of the underdogs in the league becoming one of the heroes.

#285 - NOLA - Momona Keiki-Kāne - Defensive Tackle - BadLck - S22
Another body to shove into DT, a user who has been gone for a while but can still have some value upfront at DT for us.

#286 - AZ - Pseudo QB - K/P - xxbruhxx - S22
Everyteam should have a great back up QB and that's what I’m adding to the team here. While the arm strength and accuracy leave you wanting more, I fully believe this player to be a future ISFL QB. They have the intangibles that you can't measure in TPE. Intelligence and all other attributes done matter. This could be the future of the league.

#287 - NYS - Brent Silva - Defensive Tackle - Brentmeister69 - - S25
I don’t know much about this player nor the user at all, but what I do know is that they were active at least at the time that this redraft started (which was October 31st lol), and I know that they are a London Royal, and I really like what Mag and abh are doing over there. London pumps out top prospects, so I’m sure that I’m getting a steal here in Brent Silva.

#288 - CHI – Oliver Sloan – S – Netlandic – S24
With the second last pick of the draft, Chicago backs up their secondary unit with the drafting of Oliver Sloan. Despite not being a once in a generation type player or showstopper, Sloan is an all-round player who can play out any role he is given to perform. A selfless player that doesn’t put his own needs before the team, Sloan has a lot to like for an end of the draft player.

#289 - PHI - Nacho Varga - WR - Fordhammer - S15
Nacho is dying, but not without playing some WR2 / WR3 for this Philly team. Taking an old vet and hopefully taking them on the ride of their life to get a ring with their long term team!

#290 - COL - Lionel Rumper - S - Oneski - - S25
I’m not going to be upset about getting an - S25[/b] Safety in the 21st round. You can’t make me. If CK Royal has taught me anything in my time with San Jose, it’s that Safeties are king. And maybe one day, Rumper can take the throne. I choose to believe that the holiday season has him less active than normal, because he’s a Birddog. And there are some magical numbers hidden out there somewhere that say that Dallas produces all the best ISFL talent. So surely, he will come good once he hits the big time. Numbers don’t lie.

#291 - HON - Spike Suzuki - LB - xbijin - S22
It appears as though Spike is inactive at this point, but I’ve been doing this long enough to know that quality inactives can always be useful if deployed correctly. He’s still putting up decent numbers in the league, so if I put him in the right spots on the edge, either as a LB or DE, it should serve the team well.

#292 - BER - Lebby Newton - Wide Receiver - Newty - - S25
Back to back receiver picks. This is, of course, another homer pick. Newty has been with the Ducks since we snagged him in the - S25[/b] draft. He put up WROTY candidate type numbers last season with the Grey Ducks, so hopefully he can progress into that kind of a player for the Berlin Fire Salamanders in this redraft, and also in the actual league since that’s where he landed in the actual ISFL draft! I’m always happy to grab another Duck.

#293 - YKW - Ugarth the Dissector - Linebacker - frithjofr - S21
At this point we are down to our last two picks and I wanted to try to find any value, this user has been gone since September, but I felt I could get some use out of his former player.

#294 - SAR - Holden Summers - LB - SemiCharmedMike - S21
I’ve been heartbroken ever since SCM fell IA, and every day I hope he might come back to the league; Holden Summers still has some juice, and the Sailfish will take advantage of that here.

#295 - SAR - Donatello Arrabiata - TE - lamboalfredo - S22
Donatello Arrabiata is going to be serving as a reserve TE here; I remember lambo fondly, but I don’t think he’s around to make this player worth anything more than that.

#296 - YKW - Reggie Culberston - Defensive Tackle - everyday - S20
Again. With the last pick for Yellowknife I went with a filler pick here to shove up front and hope to get some sort of value out of Reggie.

#297 - BER - Alex Dasistwirklichseinnachname - Kicker/Punter - BigKicks - S15
Alex D is getting up there in years, but he was the best kicker available on the board, and the only one that was active. He will fill in admirably for one, maybe two more seasons while we get a young player to wait in the wings to take over when this guy is ready to hang them up. Hopefully he can pad those stats a bit with us over the next few seasons that don’t actually exist and continue to make a case for the hall of fame.

#298 - HON - Juke Thomason - K/P - Luke - S24
When the league first started, I often thought it was a waste to pay a kicker more than minimum. That theory has been disproven at times when you have a 50 TPE kicker missing in key spots, but then again the sim never wants to let my max power kicker try anyway, so what’s really the difference? In any case, Luke’s a prominent figure in the SHL & I’m confident I’d be able to reach him for a task or two.

#299 - COL - Jacoby Clay - WR - Vexatious - S20
While Clay is IA, I don’t feel like this pick was an actual waste. Or at least it wasn’t a “bad” pick. The Receivers available at this point we're all pretty much trash or IA. Clay just happened to be the IA with the most TPE. He won’t last long on the team, and will be low in the depth chart, but he’ll be able to step in when one of the top guys needs a breather.

#300 - PHI - Honda Edmond - LB - Killkillkill - S17
I drafted Honda to be our 3-4 linebacker. They are near the end of their great career but no reason they can stick it out for a year or two while we develop some draft picks especially knowing it may lead to an easy ring or two and more money.

#301 - CHI - Mark Callous – WR – McCransky – - S25
With their final pick of the draft, Chicago only needs to fill out their wide receiver room with some extra depth and are excited to be drafting the services of Mark Callous to the team. Callous has safe hands and takes great care in ensuring balls thrown his way remain in his possession, a type of receiver not signed onto the team already. With Callous’ skill set and safe pair of hands, he is not just a small cog in the offence, but rather a different way to keep defences guessing as to what is going to happen next whilst being extremely reliable.

#302 - NYS - Tristian Hex - Tight End - hexify - S22
Hex was only 1 week inactive when we started this redraft, and they’re over 300 TPE. You don’t need a lot from your backup tight end, so I think that Tristian Hex’s 300+ TPE will do just fine when we need him to come through. And only being inactive for one week is no big deal, they may have just forgotten an update. After checking the forum just now, it looks like they’re active but not updating, which is good enough for me!

#303 - AZ - Daniel George - TE - dk87gaming - S22
This is a player that I will never give up hopes of them rejoining the league. A monster when joining the league they were a max earner up until the point that life just got busy. I took a similar user Sebastian Vettel in our last redraft. If i remember correctly they worked in a medical field and Covid was getting rough. Anyway it’s a great fit as a TE2 that may not see the most stats but has high upside if they ever return.

#304 - NOLA - L’Carpetron Dookmarriot - Safety - notoriousstig - S23
Nothing to say here other than I drafted this user for their name. This was our last pick and there was not much value left unfortunately.

#305 - SJS - Cadillac Harris - CB - Warner - S22
The final pick of their draft, San Jose opted for some extra coverage in the secondary with Cadillac Harris, who is also one of the best players available at this point. The extra support on the weaker side of the ball was the priority going into this pick and by going through TPE levels as well as factoring in what time period of their career they were into, Sabercats management landed at this pick. Whilst he may be the last drafted by the team, they will be hoping he will become a part of the team that comes first in the immediate seasons following this draft.

#306 - BAL - Jackie Daytona - QB - Mooty99 - S25
Now I know what you’re thinking, how in the hell did he fall this far? Realistically, I probably could’ve picked him about 10 rounds ago after the last QB came off the board, but if we’re playing this fantasy style & everybody only gets 1 QB, why not wait & get more bang for your buck? The former GM of the Austin Copperheads (the 10th GM now on this team), Mooty’s been very active ever since joining in S15 & I could definitely see him as a franchise QB sooner rather than later.

#307 - OCO - Thomas “The Tank” Engine - TE - DeanoBamBeano - S24
Unfortunately, I don’t have much to say about this pick. Even with how deep the league is, this last pick was hindered by our positional limits to be someone who is not active. The good news is, I get to have a very fun player name added to the roster. I wish Deano well, and hope he can return soon if that’s something he wants to do.

#308 - AUS - Frank Michell - TE - DeadlyPlayer - S24
Deadly, if he ever reads this, will hopefully be happy I have him as Mr. Irrelevant. I always loved this kid, and hope he’s doing well.

And there we have it. Hopefully you like where you ended up, and what was said about you. If not, don’t worry because it’s all made up and the points don’t matter. We’re considering doing a part two of this where we actually sim at least one season with these teams using the league file that was most recent from the day that we began the draft, but we aren’t sure yet. Let us know below if you think that would be interesting! Also, there’s a poll below this to vote on which team you think is best, so be sure to answer that. The team rosters are below as well, so that it’s easier to see what the teams look like. With all that being said, thank you for checking out our 2 month long project! We have some other stuff in store for the future as well, so keep an eye out!

While that seems disrespectful it was honestly just a great move by the GM to realize the situation they were in. If not for the position limits that wouldn't have happened.
