RE: (S26) Ultimus Week - enigmatic - 01-11-2021

9) What is it that keeps you interested in the league? Is it your love of dot football, the community, a specific job or role you play, or something else? What do you like most about it? What could be improved?

I probably watched one full football game in my entire life so it definitely isn’t my undying love of the sport that keeps me interested in the league. As much as I enjoy watching my little dot run during sims, that’s secondary too.

I’m not really one to talk about my feelings or my life but hey what the hell.

I’m generally pretty lonely in real life and am so shy it’s kinda ruining my life so my primary interest in sim leagues have always been the community and the perspective of forging real friendships.

At this point I’ll sound like a broken record but the Dallas Birddogs locker room is everything I ever wished for in a sim league team. Nah, scratch that, they completely blew my expectations of what a sim league team should be out of the water. So now as a side effect, any new locker room I join pales in comparison. That’s the one negative aspect of this entire situation.

Judging by some polls that were done for various media pieces over the past few seasons, people view the Birddogs as toxic but it couldn’t be further from the truth. They have helped me at a time in my life where I was so down I didn’t see how anything or anyone could help me get me back up. The fact that I was picked so low in the DSFL draft just accentuated this feeling of worthlessness and I was disappointed of where I ended up. I guess that’s another valuable lesson I learned. Now I would be more than happy to be picked 200th OA if it meant I was going to play for Dallas. The Birddogs lifted me up without me even having to talk about any problems I had or without asking for anything from me. Just making me feel so included and valued was enough to make my world a little less gray and it's comforting to know that when I want to say something dumb or share a stupid meme, they'll be there to laugh with me. I’m sure it sounds excessive as hell and a bit heavy for a sim league PT but I’m a firm believer that internet friendships can be as true as the ones we experience in real life.

So yeah, thanks to all the DSFL teams for drafting pretty much anybody and inactives before me so I could land on, hands down, the best community I’ve ever been a part of. To the people who think Dallas is toxic because our Twitter handler likes memes and joking around, well, it’s your loss.

10) Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season?

I don’t follow the sim as much as I probably should but being a Chicago Butchers player has been quite depressing these past few seasons. It kind of reminds me of when I was on the Liberty with my old player. You know, “getting there” but not quite.

We had a great season and ended up with 10 wins for 6 losses. “Great” might be a bit much but we were second in the league in terms of points because of the parity. If you remove Philadelphia and Honolulu from the equation, every team had a pretty decent season and a shot at the playoffs.

In the end (it didn’t even matter), our much deserved playoff run was cut short by the team that had been an enigma to us all season long: the Sarasota Sailfish. A lot of our players had an amazing game, notably Sam Sidekick who was responsible for most of our points and George O’Donnell with his 103 QB rating. Sean O’Leary and Baby Yoda also did what they do best and led our team offensively. On defense, Juan Domine and Osiris Firestorm-Fjord also did extremely well. Despite all of that, we lost by one tiny point which is probably what made this loss so hard to swallow.

Individually, I had a pretty shitty game and I feel like I let my teammates down. I contributed for only 18 yards for the entirety of the game. Even if I’m earning well in terms of TPE, I’m disappointed that it didn’t really translate to better on-field performances.

Still, this season was definitely the best in my career so far. I’m not doing as well as I’d hope but I find comfort in knowing that I help the team, especially with longer runs. I’d like to improve my contribution to the scoring sheet though, since having long runs without scoring is meaningless. With Sean O’Leary starting to regress pretty heavily, I think my role on the team will change soon and I hope to have more responsibilities. Hopefully I didn’t entirely mess up my new build and will have a more direct impact on my team’s success with the new sim engine.

Even if our team’s results have been disappointing, I intend to be loyal to Chicago and stick with the team even in these tough times. I think we are truly close to being one of the top teams in the ISFL and even if we never quite reach that level, it won’t be because I decided to give up on my teammates.

2) Tell us about your draft class. Is there anything that makes it special in comparison to other classes? Where did your fellow draftees land, how are they doing? Did anyone turn out to be an unexpected steal of that draft based on what you know today? Do you think anyone in your draft class will become a hall of famer? If you’re new to the league, how do you think your class will do? Where do you think people will get drafted to?
I think it goes without saying that the S22 draft class stands out as the biggest in league history. It had a ton of GMs, as I can name Colby Jack, Monty Jack, Andrew Witten, Jim Waters, Richard Gilbert, Jamar Lackson, Quinn Hughes, Mo Magic, Patrik Money, Ben Slothlisberger, Colt Mendoza, Heath Evans, Bruce Buckley, and Brandon Booker (twice) just off the top of my head. Also figure I should mention Syl and Amid as well, since they were rookie TD creates that season, and Amid did join because of that Reddit post. So really, the whole Amid crew can be considered part of the S22 class. Special shoutout to Sid for being a late pick that turned into a GM. In fact,, even Mr. Irrelevant in the DSFL draft was active for a period of time. That class also brought about the DSFL expansion creation of the Dallas Birddogs and London Royals, and led to the ISFL expansion creation of the Honolulu Hahalua and Sarasota Sailfish. I don't have any supporting data, but I have to assume that S22 players currently comprise a huge portion of ISFL rosters. We're also approaching our TPE peak, which could be record setting as well. Reddit recruitment tends to brings in sizable draft classes, but S22 was insanely large by comparison, with active players drafted even in the late 200s. The only class I know of that comes close is S25, but even that pales in comparison to S22. Most importantly, it reinvigorated the Fair Rubs movement in my opinion. Buckley, Tremblay, Dolls, and I are the only players from the class that have earned solid TPE totals I believe, but the initial impact can't be understated. OL was in a rough spot at that point, but due to the influx of new users and a great community to get us excited about the position I like to think that our class helped bring the position to where it is right now. I was the 60th pick in the DSFL and 40th in the ISFL (I think? I've always thought I was 48th but somewhat recently learned that JPach was in fact 48th), which was pretty solid for such a big draft class. I think that I've provided good value to the Luchadores and Outlaws, but very different reasons. In Tijuana I've been active in the LR and war room helping even after getting called up, which can only be said for 3 other S22 teammates (I don't count Sloth since he was a recreate). In Zona I haven't lived up to the 40th pick in that I've been rather quiet in the LR, awards committee is the only "behind-the-scenes" thing I've done for the team, and my TPE earning is pretty unspectacular. But the best ability is availability, and I've at least accomplished that. At a glance I think that Stanislaw, Passmann, and I are the only active members of that class still in Zona (not counting Eriksen since he wasn't drafted by us), with the other having left through trades, free agency or retirement. That's actually kinda depressing at a second glance, but I think that illustrates my point pretty well. I'm a pretty big upgrade over bot OTs at this point (maybe less so with the new sim, but I guess we'll have to see), and have been taking the minimum in order to save money compared to bots as well. Plus I'm not actively giving Zona a bad rep, which is a lot more useful of a trait than it might sound in my opinion. All of that combined isn't exactly a ringing endorsement, but at least I have that going for me. Anyways, back to the topic if the draft class as a whole. I think JPach's recent retirement to recreate as a QB makes him one of the first big name S22 players to have already recreated. Others like Zamir retired, but haven't made a second player yet. I believe that class was followed by DSFL IA rule changes, but I could be very wrong about that. It'd make sense considering the DSFL would've become super saturated with IA DSFL lifers at that point. Even now we've got a ton of players sent down in the DSFL, so for the sake of playing time for actives it looks like a smart move. I know we can't exactly control how many people are in each draft class, but it would be cool to see another r/NFL recruitment blow up more than they usually do for another potentially huge class. So in recap: S22 very big class, lots of great users coming from it. I'm not necessarily one of them, but I'm glad I wasn't a bust at least. Led to some rule changes and expansion because of the huge influx. Also just now realizing that there were some rather controversial people to come out of that class, which is bound to happen in a draft class of that size.

RE: (S26) Ultimus Week - CLG Rampage - 01-11-2021

2) Tell us about your draft class.

I'm gonna talk about S18, since that's a class I know much more intimately compared to the S28 class that I've just joined. I'm sure S28 will end up being a great draft, but S18 had some notable people and events that I want to highlight as Hanyadi's career ends.

The first notable thing about S18 was that it was the second NFL reddit class the ISFL ever had. After slm did some negotiating with the mods all the way back in S15, we now have a consistent schedule where we get to post about the league once every couple of months, and these are usually big marquee classes. S18 was no different, with 105 players joining the league before the S17 DSFL draft (myself included), and 6 more joining before the ISFL draft, bringing the class's total to 111 players. Granted, plenty of them were inactive, but we also have some huge names that people will definitely recognize.

Starting off, we have Bex, the current commissioner of the league, former NOLA running back and currently joining me as part of the S28 draft class as a QB. I don't need to say much more about her, she had a meteoric rise through HO and very quickly became the main operator of the league. She's helped grow the league immensely with massive classes in S22 and S25 and done a lot to help revolutionize the league, including greenlighting the casino, Dotts and deciding to move to a new sim.

Laser is another big name from this class, with him being the GM of Orange County for 9 seasons. With the Otters, Laser won two rings and finished with a career record of 86-42 as a GM. While he may not have been able to sustain the success he achieved in the early years, he kept OCO competitive and made sure they were a threat every season. As a player, Laser was no slouch, winning CBoTY and Pro Bowl honors in S23. While he may not have been a super flashy player like some of the other guys in the class, he's a lockdown corner and has definitely made an impact in Orange County while he was there. He also retired this season, along with myself and Bex, creating a quarterback as well. It is entirely possible he will rejoin Orange County, the team has a history with him and Ramza won't be around forever, so it'll be interesting to see how everything shakes up.

What good would it be talking about S18 without mentioning the media mogul himself, Isa? While he may be much quieter nowadays and he may have retired early, Isa was a media monster in the early months of the S18 class. His S18 Mock Draft still holds the record as the longest media piece ever written on the forum, clocking in at an absolutely gargantuan 56,423 words. Combine that with a 1.5x draft media bonus, and Isa made himself a cool $142 million on one article. While he may not be blitzing out media like he did in the good old days, he's still one of the richest people in the league and is well liked by many. He retired much earlier than most, but he quickly recreated and is still in the league to this day as a part of Colorado.

It might seem egotistical, but I have to mention myself as well. I may not have had the impact that Laser, Isa and Bex had on the league. I did GM for Minnesota for a couple of seasons and help set up the Awards committee, but those are admittedly minor things compared to winning two Ultimus trophies, being the commissioner and being one of the most prolific media writers the league has ever seen and likely will ever see. However, Hanyadi is by far the best player to come out of the S18 class and likely will be the only one to make the player HoF. Bex will almost certainly make the user HoF one day, and I think Laser has a decent case at GM Hof, but Hanyadi blows all of their respective players out of the water. The only person in the same solar system in terms of achievements is probably Rubbe, who was a massively underrated player in the draft and turned out to be one of the best offensive linemen of all time. Even Rubbe can only scratch Hanyadi's legacy, and he will go down as one of the best running backs in the history of the league.

There are simply far too many people in this class to mention. Cue, current quarterback for the Outlaws, has been one of my main rivals since I entered the league. Fuzzy Dotson, while he hasn't been super effective in the big leagues, was another rival I had way back in my DSFL days. There's Orien Drake, the guy who I shared the backfield with in Yellowknife for a couple of seasons until he unfortunately went IA. There's Rubbe, the leader of the human OL movement and someone who put the position back on the map.

While a lot of the S18 class has either retired or gone IA, some of them still truck onwards and continue to make an impact. And out of those that have retired, plenty of them have made a huge impact on the league one way or another. (900 words)

It's always hard to predict where people will b e drafted in a sim league  if you're not in the inner circle so to speak. Because it's not just about total TPE. It's also about how a certain player fits into a  team's locker room ad what connection they have with the GMs of each franchise. So far through most of the mock drafts I've seen Eleven Kendrick-Watts is predicted to go first overall which I find interesting because historically in ISFL drafts, Offensive players haven't gone that early and Watts is Wide Receiver. That's why I think HeHateMe Picksix ll might have  a chance to go first. He might a bit off of questionable pick at first but if yo go by the history of the league, it's almost certain a defensive player will be taken with the number one overall pick.

Xander Creed is project to go second in the arly mock drafts that I’m looking at but I don’t know about that. Again, This has nothing do with Creed or the user behind him, It’s just that as a Running Back, I don’t know how willing teams would be to invest a  position player that that early in the draft. Especially if people are correct and Watts goes first. I find it almost impossible that two offensive players would be taken back to back. That just doesn’t happen in the ISFL Draft. Of course you have to factor in the fact that we’re moving to a new sim so maybe the old rules of the draft have gone out the window and maybe there’ s more value to offensive players in the new engine then there was in DDPSPF16 but I don’t have enough knowledge about the new engine to let that inform of my decisions. I just think there’s always going to be more running backs out there for you to either draft or pick up off of waivers or trade for then defensive players.

That’s why I think Cornerback Lawrence Miller will come off the board in the second spot. I really like Overdoo, mostly because enjoy his podcast. I also think there’s a lot of value in drafting someone who has podcast experience. I think podcast help people get engaged in the league and I think it’s a fairly consistent way to make money.

Another thing I should point out here is that I’m  not all that familiar with he GMs of each ISFL team so I might accidentally mock some going higher when the rules state that all ISFL GMs have to go in the second round of the draft. That’s why I’m not taking Jim The Vampire here who I think would be the third pick but I believe Kyle is a GM if I recall correctly.

I actually think Madison Hayes will be the first offensive player off of the board. They have the most TPE and running back is a fairly important position  despite what I’ve said previously about Xander Creed. As far as I know the ISFL is primarily a passing  league but with a new sim, they’ll be new tactics to a certain degree and even if things stay the way they have in the past. Running back is still useful.
As a linebacker myself, I’m a bit bias towards the position so I’m going to say that Duke Cheeks comes off the board fourth. I think JTV would go ahead of him but I’m pretty sure he’s a GM so I think Dukes could be the first linebacker off the board and since the ISFL draft is traditionally defensive heavy, I think Cheeks could go as early as the fourth pick.

Since so many people have Watts as going first overall, I don’t think I can drop them any further then fifth. That might even be too far of a drop honestly but I’m just using the past trends to gauge how I see this draft going and in the past couple of ISFL drafts  we’ve seen the early picks be dominated by defensive players. Defensive players are just a more valuable commodity overall then offensive player with the way the league works. That might change in the new sim engine though. Who knows?

In terms of how I feel about my class, I would say that while it's far from the largest class in history, I think it's a very competitive class with a lot of hard workers in it. Some of that maybe bias on my part but I do think this is a class and a draft filled with a lot of potential talent in it.

As for where I’ll end up, I have no clue. I’m right in the middle and kind of trending towards the lower half of the class when it comes to TPE so I think I’l be a fairly late round pick. Maybe the fifth or sixth round depending on how big the class is.

I’m also historically terrible at pre-draft interviews so that probably hurts my stock. I’ll say I’m going to number seventy-five overall. With no knowledge of how big this class is or how many rounds it’s going to go . I’m just going to guess I’ll be the seventy-fifth overall pick.

RE: (S26) Ultimus Week - Dagumpa - 01-11-2021

1) In S26, the International Simulation Football League used a tournament at the end of the season known as "the playoffs" to determine a league champion. In the International Simulation Football League twenty-sixth playoff, six teams entered and only one team left as the victor. There were six teams who made the Internation Simulation Football League playoffs of S26. So how exactly did those six teams make the International Simulation Football League playoffs of S26? How's about I tell you that? Ok? Let's start off with my least favorite team of the group: the Yellowknife Wraiths. The Yellowknife Wraiths have long been a thorn in my side in the grand scheme of International Simulation Football League play, dating back to National Simulation Football League play. What is the reason for my displeasure of the Wraiths of Yellowknife. I am going to tell you. A few seasons ago, all they needed to do as the best team in the league was to beat the Philadelphia Liberty for us to get into the playoffs. Instead, because they suck, they lost to the Philadelphia Liberty and kept the Baltimore Hawks out of the postseason. How did they get to the International Simulation Football League playoffs of S26? I don't care.

What about the teams I don't dislike? The 2nd seed in the NSFC was the Chicago Butchers. They were one of the top TPE teams in the league and many saw them as one of the International Simulation Football League's best. But because the sim is a cruel mistress, the Chicago Butchers underperformed a bit in the International Simulation Football League's 26th season, finishing 10-6. Despite that, they were still able to make the playoffs. The other team in the NSFC was the Colorado Yeti. The Colorado Yeti came into the season as a favorite of many. But, as they had done for the past few seasons, they underwhelmed...a lot. Despite only winning 1 game in their last 5 games, the Colorado Yeti were able to sweatily slop themselves into the International Simulation Football League's postseason...where they got absolutely demolished by the Yellowknife Wraiths 51-6. Oh what's that? They didn't actually make the playoffs? They were only put into the index as Yellowknife's opponent when Yellowknife was actually set to have a bye so to compensate the game was set to "Yellowknife win" and thus the Yeti were slaughtered in a meaningless game? Eh..whatever. They are still doo-doo. The actual other team in the NSFC to make the International Simulation Football League's playoffs of S26 were the Sailfish...but who gives a rat's ass about the Sailfish? Moving on.

You thought the NSFC was a clusterfuck? Wait until you hear about the ASFC. Because the ASFC is actually a competent division with teams who actively work towards being decent, 5 teams finished 9-7: all tying for the best record in the division. Due to tiebreakers or head-to-head records or rock-paper-scissors, only 3 of those teams were able to make the postseason: the Silverbacks, the Otters, and the Second Line. The Silverbacks were a scrappy team who were not, arguably, the best in their division overall but still used cunning and determination to win the 1st seed in their division and make it to the postseason for the first time since their inception back in S25. The Otters and the Second Line made the International Simulation Football League playoffs of S26 because they always do. Therefore, despite finishing 9-7 like their counterparts, the Austin Copperheads and the Arizona Outlaws were left on the outside looking in. Honestly, I don't know how it was decided that only 3 of those teams made the playoffs with no tiebreaker games. Like...it's not real football. Hold a round-robin or something. Or a game of naked Twister.

There you have it: the six greatest teams of all time. Why are they the six greatest teams of all time? Because they made the International Simulation Football League playoffs of S26. The first round saw the Second Line beat out the Otters, who many believed would've been the division's top team, 24-15. The Sailfish were also able to win in the first round by posting 24 points, but only after their opponents, the Chicago Butchers, posted 23 of their own. Fortunately for the Sailfish, they didn't have to keep buying cheap airfare as the Yellowknife Wraith's kicked them to the curb 24-22. The other division saw the hopes of a different up-and-coming team squandered by a league giant with the Second Line pissing away the Silverbacks 43-37 in overtime. Ultimus was set: the Second Line against the Wraiths. You gotta love when the league tries to get original. Anyway, the Wraiths absolutely wiped the Second Line off the face of the Earth with a scoring outburst of 49 points to New Orleans' meager 17. And with that, the Sabercats were no longer the most shat-on team in the league. Congratulations, Yellowknife! That's genuine, you guys had a great season.

RE: (S26) Ultimus Week - Guunar - 01-11-2021

7) This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S26 class and later. In 400 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?
My experience in the league so far has been superb. I can’t speak highly enough of the rookie mentors who helped me get started and some of the activities like the Prospect Bowl that really sparked my interest in the league early on. It also helped me see how things work and what my player would look like in action. My GMs, Joe and Jimi, are great at answering questions and helped me understand the league in general. The rest of the team is awesome too and very active in the Norfolk locker room. That’s a bit contributor to my activity here since I came from pretty toxic Madden Create A Player leagues that never lasted too long.
I’m very satisfied with my first season in the DSFL. Even though I started behind Mr. Forty-Two, I got some decent action in early on and then it progressed to better and better performance as the season went on and I got more TPE. It was satisfying to see my linear progress and motivated me to keep improving each week. I ended the regular season with 1,042 rushing yards, 4.4 average yards per carry, 28 yards for longest carry, and 7 touchdowns. It was a great season as a back-up to Mr.Forty-Two and I’m glad I could contribute in a big way. I didn’t think I’d be so impactful towards the end of the season and I was surprised to see how much success the two of us running backs in Norfolk had. I can’t say that my performance in the playoff game was great, but I’m happy that I got 11 carries for 42 yards anyways. We tried our best, but our quarterback was awful.

I enjoyed my time in the DSFL, but I find it really confusing since the NFL doesn’t have a developmental league and I don’t see that in other ‘american-style’ football leagues either. I was hoping that there would a college system where I could play out a more realistic style of system and then declare for the draft. This would mirror the real world more and more enjoyable for the player experience overall. Instead of GMs, you could have athletic directors that focus on recruiting and then build out a team that could compete without being subjected to ISFL team call-ups. It would provide a more stable environment and the tasks and activities could be college-oriented with ‘attendance’ for activity checks and ‘going to class’ for weekly trainings and stuff like that. It would be hard to convert the money system, but I think you could have it work out in a similar fashion to scholarships.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
28) The league is moving on to a new sim. What do you think about it? Are you excited to leave the old one behind? Maybe not so excited about it? Which parts of it do you think will be great, or not so great?
I’m definitely excited about moving onto the new sim. I’ve only had one season of DDSPF16 and I think it works alright but the new sim appears to be much cleaner and I’ve done a bit of testing on it. The old sim works well but it’s not visually appealing and missing a lot of action like kickoffs and more visuals. The new traits are really exciting to see and I think the new builds create more dynamic players. Speed will probably still dominate from what I’ve seen in testing, but I think we will see more diverse builds overall. I’m most excited to see the changes to offensive line and it looks like they really revamped that front so hopefully we see more human players in that position with different attributes and priorities. The new sim will give us some great new builds and I think that will be a good step forward for the league. I’m also excited to see the ball move now on plays and we actually see some kicking action in the new version of DDSPF. Overall, it is going to be a good move for the league and will spark some more interest from veterans who have been in the league for a while. Things can get stale if you don’t constantly work on improving the player experience.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

30) Make a scouting report for any of the ISFL or DSFL draftees. Show their stats, abilities, TPE, highlights, or totally fraudulent mail-in ballots. Whatever rookies get up to these days.

Xander Creed Scouting Report (@Bandit239 )
College: Colorado
Height (ft.): 5'10
Weight (lbs.): 210 lbs
Arms: 31 3/8”
Hands: 9 ½”
Draft Projection: Round 1 (top 3)
It is a rare occurrence to have a running back with the ability to alter the course of an offense and become a franchise-type player, capable of single-handedly changing a team forever. Creed is that amalgamation of pure speed, elusiveness, and field vision that propels him to the top of the draft class among all his peers. His performance in the DSFL has proven that he can carry a heavy load for the Kansas City Coyotes. He was their lead back all season and had an impressive 1243 rushing yards, 4.4 average per carry, and 9 touchdowns making him the 4th most successful running back to see the end zone. Creed is a buffet runner who will have a chance to become an early rookie of the year candidate if given the opportunity in the ISFL.

Strengths:
  • High pulse runner with imperative underpinnings as his fundamentals
  • Vision is solid all around with no faults
  • Maintains elite-eye darting when navigating interior running lanes
  • Exploits voided cutback lanes with precision
  • Very tough and very competitive runner
  • Football character and forum user are impeccable
Weaknesses:
  • Plays with unreliable leg drive through contact when working between the tackles
  • Will need to progress to a more north/south mindset as a pro
  • Has bouts with drops as pass catcher and his catch radius is inadequate
  • Erratic and unreliable at take-on blocks in pass protection

RE: (S26) Ultimus Week - Lowlycrib - 01-12-2021

2.5 TPE tier

The halftime show in the NFL arguably draws as many non-football fans to watch the game as football fans. While the obvious choice would be to go with a mega star much like any other major sports league, there's one distinct difference as this half time show would occur in the dottverse (is that a word?). Talent within this universe is devoid of the normal theatrics of a normal half time show so that would remove any dance oriented or large groups. Music is a possibile option, but our awesome simmers have already brought excellent music options for our streams throughout the season. Due to all these different aspects being handled, I vote we bring in a Dott circus filled with dot animals and performers to truly immerse ourselves in the Dottverse (how many times can I say Dott in a sentence?) But honestly if some of the members wanted to run through some of the big stories throughout the season that happened such as big seasons, upsets, potential MVP candidates, or anything really that would be pretty cool feature to add to the Ultimus stream. So besides adding something nonsensical, putting to use some of the very talented graphical folks and individuals dedicated enough to talk about the league for 5-10 minutes would make for a great half time show.

In these trying times we all have to find another way to make some change on the side and Tyron Brackenridge is no exception. The first logical step would to have products or businesses centered in San Jose as he has been one of the stars of the team over the last ten seasons with the team but there's also other avenues to explore such as Canadian products such as maple syrup, snow, bunnyhugs, or anything red and white. While geographic locations are great ways to secure a sponsorship or brand deal, there's also a great pun potential for Brackenridge as his slogan such as "Brack doesn't crack and neither will insert product". So the sky is truly the limit when it comes to Brackenridge securing a brand deal to help feed his pack addiction and need for Canadian snow before game days which is understably very difficult to acquire in San Jose. But getting a sponsorship is the first step, as once you get it Brackenridge would be ruthless in promoting it on the field, in interviews, and anywhere he goes so be prepared for Brackenridge to wear McDonald's cleats and Tupperware shoulder pads in order to truly promote the products that believe in him. Lastly, this task was sponsored by Subway so eat fresh.

While 16 has treated us fairly well, it has been overdue that we switch to a new sim that allows us to have a new experience and to change some of the metas that have existed over the past couple seasons. Because of the uncertainty of the new sim, it allows for a whole lot more diversity in builds rather than just have the biggest and fastest guys or Game manager QBs with 79 speed. Another aspect of the new sim that I enjoy is the trait system that allows for even further customization as well as making players feel more different and impactful at the higher TPE levels rather than a 260 tpe scrub being the best. While it will take me a while to experience the new sim fully as my player Brackenridge is on his final legs, it should be an enjoyable experience for all as we see just what will actually happen as well as non idiotic 2 minute offences and timeouts. While a new sim might not fix all of our problems, I believe that we just might see another expansion in the near future as teams become increasingly crowded and difficult to make but my one question is how many more times can we expand before it becttoo many and ultimately makes the league worse but a new sim should hopefully push this off for the foreseeable future.
