How the S26 Playoff seedings were decided - JPach - 01-04-2021
So, there is a 5-way record tie for 1st in the standings in the ASFC
As we all know by know the sim's tiebreakers for playoffs are H2H, Conference Record, PF, PA. in that order and we cannot modify this.
The only thing that mattered in this tie was H2H because when multiple teams are tied it does Round Robin Head 2 Head in a Cascading fashion.
Cascading means that first it decides the number one seed in the round robin and then removes them from the equation entirely, and then uses the remaining pool to decide 2nd seed, and then continues until all ties have been decided.

As seen above, New York had the highest H2H against all teams at 6-2. They were input as the #1 seed and then removed from the round robin. In the Round Robin without NY, which included NOLA-OCO-AUS-ARI, Nola had the highest at 4-2 and thus were placed in the 2nd seed spot and then removed from the round robin. In the remaining round robin consisting of OCO, AUS, and ARI, OCO had the highest record at 3-1 and were given the number 3 seed. And so Austin and Arizona were eliminated from the playoffs.
