*Wisco OLB Xavier Walls declares for Draft - xtitanxmvpx - 01-07-2021
Many players spend their time prepping for a draft going through drill after drill, however, Xavier Walls has been working a little differently. Alongside a training regiment, Walls has been actively working with his community to help those in need by delivering meals and working at Elderly Centers in the Madison area. Upon being asked why he doesn't seem more focused on strict training up until the draft Walls said, "I am who I am and my father always said you get what you give. I will always work for my community and I will always give back what I get. if teams are interested, they know what I can do on the field. I want any prospective GM's and Coaches to know what else I bring to the table when I'm drafted. I'm not the Ab type. I'm not that kinda guy who just wants to be famous. I'm a future star on the field, but I'm gonna be a leader off as well."
Big words from a yet drafted prospect, but Walls made it clear that his accolades up to this point don't matter. His work ethic and determination will show that at the next level he will excel as a resource for whatever community he's brought into. Background aside, Xavier Walls has had a leadership filled showing at the Prospect Bowl up til this point. Through two nights of games the Wisco Alum has produced 30 tackles, a handful for a loss, a sack, forced fumble, and a blocked punt. As this young man's career continues we look to see more of the same at the next level of play. His speed to the ball and quickness on the edge allow him to hold rushers inside and close on the quarterback and receivers alike in open field. Walls will be a sideline to sideline player for whichever squad he suits up for.
Any general managers reading this article should know, this award winning linebacker is willing to go the extra mile and upon speaking to him we've felt his passion and respect for what he's been given in life. Along with his solid off field ethics, he's a damn good football player as well. We look forward to seeing how this young man's career pans out as he is drafted and brought up to speed with the league.
