Tijuana Replaces GM with GM - Tonzy - 01-08-2021
As all of us here in Tijuana mourn the loss of our great leader @SwankyPants31, I am reminded of the quote in "The Emperor's New Groove" by Yzma after Kuzco is presumed to be dead.... "Welp, he ain't getting any deader!" These words cannot be denied; which is why only mere minutes after Swanky has stepped down from his position, I am happy to announce his replacement here in Tijuana!
Before I make my announcement though I do want to thank Swanky for being a wonderful guy to work with. It truly was an honor working with you this season and I am so glad that I get to say that I managed my favorite team with you! There is a long line of successful managers here in Tijuana, *stares fondly at 8 Utimini's* , so it was important to me to pick the perfect candidate to fill the pant-less position left by Swanky.
It was very difficult for me to decide but ultimately I decided that the best replacement for my GM was a GM. This meant that @GuitarMaster116 was the perfect choice for the job! I am so excited to work with GM and I truly believe that with his help we can bring Ultimini #9 to the beautiful shores of Tijuana. If anyone has had a chance to interact with GM you know he is a great dude and I am confident that he will preserve the wonderful tradition that we find here in the Cult of the Tijuana Luchadores.
