*An interview with frijolhead - StevenOSullivan - 01-29-2021

We will split the payout 50-50% between myself and frijolhead

Steven O'Sullivan: To start with, tell me a bit about your history with the ISFL and your player!

frijolhead: For me, I came here from PBE. I wanted a football sim league and this seemed like a really good place to start!

As for Gio Bianchi, he's an Italian immigrant. He was born into a poor family who ended up getting enough money to move to St. Louis when he was 10. He started playing football in high school and has stuck with it ever since. It's been a hard journey for Gio but with the help of his friends and family, he's gotten to where he is today.

Steven O'Sullivan: I am also in the PBE! I enjoy that league a lot as well.

I believe you are a Running Back? What drew you to that position?

frijolhead: Well to be honest, I wasn't originally planning on being a running back. I wanted to be a wideout, but I didn't put down the possibility of switching positions. SouthPaw, the Pythons GM, asked if I wanted to switch to RB, and I said yes. I've been there to this day and it's pretty cool!

Steven O'Sullivan: That's awesome! What do you like about Running Back compared to Wide Receiver?

frijolhead: I don't really know, it's one of those intangible things... I just like it a lot better haha

Steven O'Sullivan: Do you have any particular goals with being a Running Back?

frijolhead: I'd really enjoy to get multiple 1,000+ yard rushing seasons

Steven O'Sullivan: That is an awesome goal! Do you have any rolemodels at the Running Back position? Any players you maybe looked at their build to copy or see how they are doing?

frijolhead: Not really, I really just want to carve my own path

Steven O'Sullivan: When it comes to that path, where do you see it going in the future?

frijolhead: Honestly, I'm not really sure. Usually I just go with the flow and let life take the wheel. I'm proud to say I can adjust to change well and I think that will definitely benefit me in becoming a top tier running back.

Steven O'Sullivan: Being adaptable is definitely a great skill in this league. What do you think matters more to you: Yards or touchdowns?

frijolhead: I'm not sure... If I had to pick, I'd say yards

Steven O'Sullivan: And do you have any big career goals for the future? Whether that is the Hall of Fame or personal awards or championships?

frijolhead: I would love to win some awards down the road. Bling isn't important as long as I've enjoyed my run at the end of my career.

Steven O'Sullivan: What would you say makes you enjoy your career here most?

frijolhead: Friendships and leaving my mark on and off the field. I want to be known as a good football player and a good person, too. Once I get up to the ISFL and play for the Sailfish, I want to give back for my entire career and then some.

Steven O'Sullivan: That's really cool! I think off the field stuff is often underrated. It's good to have that goal as well. It will be exciting to be team-mates down the road!

frijolhead: Yeah! Definitely hyped for that. It'll be awesome.

Steven O'Sullivan: Well I guess that's all I have for now, thank you for the interview!
