S27 DSFL Rules Summit Results - TomHanks - 02-02-2021
The S27 DSFL Rules Summit has recently come to a close. GMs, Head Office members and the DSFL Simmer were encouraged to submit proposed changes to the rulebook and league procedure. With 15 voting members (8 teams, 4 HO members, 1 league commissioner, 1 league owner, and 1 simmer), 10 votes were needed for a proposal to pass.
Below is the full list of proposed rule changes and the final voting results for each.
1. If a mid-season call-up brings a position below the minimum needed for DCs, the team should be able to create an emergency 50 TPE filler bot regardless of what point in the season it is.

Rule Passes
2. DSFL GMs may not suggest or encourage any send-down player to position switch without first obtaining permission from the send-down player's ISFL GM. Any violations of this rule are to be considered tampering and may be punished as such at Head Office's discretion.
9 For - 6 Against
Rule Does Not Pass

Agreed, this should be common sense imo, but apparently it isn’t so a rule should be added in.
