There's no better possible Ultimus host city than Las Vegas. Maybe it's not exactly a city that screams football in the way that some other potential hosts would, but imagine holding the surrounding festivities of an Ultimus bowl under the bright neon lights of Las Vegas. Players would hit up the casino right after practice and only have to worry about running into their own coaches doing the same. The teams and the fans in the stands of the Ultimus bowl will stay at the fanciest hotel, maybe the one with the really big light on top of it, or maybe the one with the really bright lights on the sign. I don't know, I've never been to Vegas, but it's reputation precedes itself.

Las Vegas is also deeply entwined in ISFL lore, too, having hosted a (then-NSFL) team for a few seasons after the S2 expansion. The old LV Legion stadium could easily be polished up and fitted to a current Ultimus, though it might take some doing since the stadium hasn't hosted a game since the Legion moved to New Orleans in S6. And yes, while the Legion were worse than terrible for their whole existence and plagued by inactivity and drama, what better way is there to celebrate the league's best teams than to dance on the grave of it's worst?

O man, what a super bowl it was to watch, and you are right, it definitely gets us thinking ahead to the ultimus. My thought process in all of this was to look straight at who we are as a league. We switched from NSFL to ISFL, and yet we lack INTERNATIONAL teams. So, although we probably will not make it, I think the Ultimus, although it would hurt not to have it in the United States, I think we could go out on a limb and do a neutral site somewhere in Europe. Or fight island lmap. I think the best way to grow the game would to be too put are best two teams at the end of this year in front of a curious fanbase and show them what the league is all about. There are lots of potential destinations for expansions teams. And what better way to push for INTERNATIONAL expansion than giving them a front row seat. As for the half time show? Probably lots of chocolate milk ads and a well known international artists like U2 or someone to rock the hell out. You may make some fans just out of the kick ass halftime show. This is what I got.

The ultimus bowl, in my opinion, should be an event to emphasize the 'international' aspect of our league. The ultimus will be a great opportunity to spark more international attention to American football and ISFL while providing the players with an exotic playing experience. So that's why I think this season's ultimus bowl should be held in Rome, Italy.

The European continent saw a large increase in football interest in recent years, especially after the introduction of Berlin Ifre Salamanders to the league a few seasons ago. However, that interest is mainly focused aroubd London and Berlin, where actual ISFL or DSFL trams are located. I would think that a large and flashy event like the ultimus bowl- which will attract football enthusiasts and ISFL fans from all around the world, will act as a big positive turning point to the local popularity of ISFL and football in general. In addition to that, Rome, being situated in the south of Europe, has a very warm climate very suitable for winter events like the ultimus bowl. Along with the fact that the city already has a very well formed tourism and transportation infrastructure due to its background as a major sightseeing destination, this will be another major point for Rome hosting the Ultimus.

At the end of the day, ISFL is a dot football league. And stadiums and their locations will look largely the same wherever they're held due to the limits of the sim. However, I think adding the additional depth of location to the ultimus will be quite interesting to see, while generating more hype for the big event. (270)

Ultimus Week is pretty big event with the Ultimus and Ultimini on the line. Since it's a pretty big stage and there were some whispers prior to the season at a possible expansion, what better way to launch an expansion team than to have one of the expansion teams play host for the event. Neutral field to negate any advantage for the participating teams and a chance to put the biggest week in the International Simulation Football League schedule on show at a location soon to have their own team to cheer on.

In the event that expansion doesn't happen, perhaps it's a good opportunity to take the Ultimus Week festivities abroad, after all the I in the ISFL does stand for international so why not take the show on the road as a showcase of the league to a potential area interest of a future expansion. Maybe we end up in Europe or maybe we head to the Asia Pacific region to in maybe Australia or New Zealand, areas where the league could potentially grow.

Truth be told, don't have much of an idea as to what to do with the halftime show but maybe part of the event could also include the induction of Hall of Fame class. Nice way to acknowledge the league's best at arguably the biggest event of the season.

Being an Aussie, I would love to see a super bowl or ultimus played in Australia. Now logically the best place in Australia for such an event would be probably the MCG in Melbourne or as a backup to that ANZ stadium in New South Wales. I however am moving this game to Brisbane and we are playing at Suncorp Stadium/ The stadium itself only has a capacity of fifty thousand people but what is the best bit is the surrounding area. The areas around are what would make the Ultimus one of the world best parties. Running past the stadium to the north is Caxton Street which is absolutely chocked full of pubs and eateries up and down the street for ages. On the other side of the ground is also more breweries and food. The whole area just makes for a perfect party atmosphere celebrating football and having a great time with others. One of Australia's most iconic pubs is also here on Caxton Street which is an absolute must do when visiting the area for some sport.

The stadium itself even though is smaller is one of the best grounds around for watching sport. Sitting in the back row it still feels like you have a great seat with the angle of the stadium so you feel right on top of the action. Not a bad seat in the place which would make for a perfect place to watch Berlin beat Philly. So who really gets the last laugh between Karmichael Hunt/Achtfunf and Philadelphia ay?

Also if you are ever in the area definitely drop into Lefty's Old Time Music Hall and try the apple juice and rum.

In the world of the International Football Sim League, there is no neutral ground. No matter what, someone is always at home. Even in a game as big as our Ultimus, our championship. The highest ranked team gets to be at home. That makes this question the easiest decision of all. I'd obviously want the big game to be played in Colorado at Wolfie Farms Stadium. For it to be played there, it would mean that not only did they Yeti make it to the Ultimus, but they also had the best record on the season. This would be absolutely massive to me as my Yeti finally made it back to the championship after an underwhelming season in which we had to quickly rebuild. This would make the third Ultimus visit of de Pengu's career and I could only hope that this time he would walk away with the victory. That said, there isn't much I'd want to change about the appearance of the game itself. We have an incredible field which was designed and sponsored by Wolfie Farms and I'd never want to offend our favorite dog by changing anything. That said though, we'd have an incredible half time show where Wolfie would arrive and present all his older pupper friends for potential adoption. It would all be in good fun and would cap off a solid season for my Yeti.
