Hello everybody,
I'm retiring. Just wanted to say thank you to the league. I've seen a lot of changes here since I joined in S5. It was really cool to see the league grow and change, but keep most of the same passion and comradery that makes it such a unique league. The ISFL/NSFL filled an empty space in my life in the past few years and I've gotten to know some great people. It was nice to know that I had this league when real life was quiet and lonely (and sometimes sad), and if I needed a smile I knew there was some multi drama episode to catch up on in the NSFL threads. Unfortunately for Mike Hockhertz's career, life has changed and I have new passions and new loves that take my time away from this great place.
So I just wanted to say a few thanks to some standouts (and league legends might I add). @PDXBaller was my first DSFL GM. He's the reason I stayed past S5 and a huge reason why the DSFL was actually fun for most people. @Bzerkap was my first NSFL GM. Those who know him know what a beauty that guy is. @infinitempg, even though we didn't talk too much, he was a HO guy who did the right thing. And lastly, my guys @Bayley and @Muford, for reviving Chicago and making it actually cool to be part of that team again.
And to everyone else in the league, thank you and keep doing what you're doing. Most importantly: keep having fun.
