* Rushing Stats: Week 3+4 and Season Totals - Gwdaja - 08-07-2017 Weeks 3 and 4 are behind us, so let's see some more rushing numbers!!! Week 5 is right around the corner, so I'm getting these in late, but better than never!! Let's check in with our NSFL rushing stats. Week 3 + 4 Rushing Stats Hawks Week 3 Darlane Farlane: 22 attempts, 86 rushing yards, 3.9 YPC, 1 reception 9 receiving yards Marcus Robinson: 3 attempts, 13 yards, 4.3 YPC Week 4 Darlane Farlane: 29 attempts, 107 rushing yards, 3.7 YPC, 1 rushing TD, 4 reception 21 receiving yards Marcus Robinson: 8 attempts, 29 yards, 3.6 YPC Hawks went 1-1 in this two week stretch, barely losing to San Jose in a near comeback, and doing great against the Liberty. Farlane rushed well in both weeks, but was highlighted in an OPOG performance in Week 4 with 107 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD and 21 receiving yards. He also had had 41 return yards in week 3 and 27 return yards in Week 4. Oh, and he's leading the league in rushing as a rookie. Legion Week 3 Ardie Savea: 20 attempts, 65 rushing yards, 3.2 YPC, 1 reception, 22 receiving yards Kyle Cobb: 10 attempts, 22 rushing yards, 2.2 YPC Week 4 Ardie Savea: 28 attempts, 92 rushing yards, 3.3 YPC, 1 rushing TD Kyle Cobb: 9 attempts, 58 rushing yards, 6.4 YPC Legion had two unfortunate losses in both these weeks. Savea underwhelmed in Week 3, but had a good game in Week 4, even adding a rushing TD on top of his 92 yards. Cobb made a drastic improvement in Week 4 as compared to Week 3. In Week 3, he had an abysmal game, but in Week 4 he was impressive with 58 yards on only 9 carries. Liberty Week 3 Omar Wright: 16 attempts, 37 rushing yards, 2.3 YPC Week 4 Omar Wright: 18 attempts, 81 rushing yards, 4.5 YPC More weeks of Liberty losses and poor offense. Week 3 to 4 for Omar was a crazy difference. Week 3 was maybe the worst game of his career so far, but Week 4 was a solid game with a really good average. Let's hope Liberty can get something going soon. SaberCats Week 3 Jack Durden: 22 attempts, 103 rushing yards, 4.7 YPC, 1 reception, 15 receiving yards Denzel Diaz: 3 attempts, 15 rushing yards, 5 YPC, 1 reception, 4 receiving yards Week 4 Jack Durden: 21 attempts, 81 rushing yards, 3.9 YPC, 1 rushing TD, 1 reception, 4 receiving yards Denzel Diaz: 7 attempts, 17 rushing yards, 2.4 YPC Really impressive 2-week stretch for the SaberCats. They pulled out two incredibly close games and got the W in both. Durden has established himself as one of the most consistent and efficient running backs in the league, and is leading running backs in rushing TD's on the season. Another 100 yard game, more high averages. Nicely done, Durden. Yeti Week 3 Boss Tweed: 22 attempts, 69 rushing yards, 3.1 YPC, 1 reception, 0 receiving yards K. O'Connell: 2 attempts, 3 rushing yards, 1.5 YPC, 2 receptions, 11 receiving yards Week 4 Boss Tweed: 24 attempts, 92 rushing yards, 3.8 YPC, 1 rushing TD, 2 receptions, 6 receiving yards K. O'Connell: 2 attempts, 5 rushing yards, 2.5 YPC, 1 receptions, 8 receiving yards Yeti pulled out 2 wins, one a stomping of the Wraiths and another a tight win over the Outlaws. In Week 3 Tweed did not run very well, but they still won regardless. He bounced back the next week with an OPOG performance. At this point, O'Connell is starting to disappear as a backup. Wraiths Week 3 Bubba Nuck: 25 attempts, 79 rushing yards, 3.2 YPC Eric Kennedy: 2 attempts, 9 rushing yards, 1 YPC Week 4 Bubba Nuck: 26 attempts, 82 rushing yards, 3.2 YPC Eric Kennedy: 7 attempts, 27 rushing yards, 3.9 YPC Nuck's numbers are dipping slightly, especially in average, but he's still doing well overall, considering he's 2nd in rushing up to this point in the season. If they continue to feed him the ball, he will continue to produce. Otters Week 3 Leroy Jenkins: 19 attempts, 51 rushing yards, 2.7 YPC, 3 reception, 28 receiving yards Vick Bowers Jr.: 11 attempts, 34 rushing yards, 3.1 YPC, 2 receptions, 14 receiving yards Week 4 Leroy Jenkins: 12 attempts, 44 rushing yards, 3.7 YPC Vick Bowers Jr.: 6 attempts, 12 rushing yards, 3.9 YPC The rushing attack for the Otters is really shrinking. Not sure if it's a change in schemes or what, but they are not putting up good numbers or averages, which is odd since their two running backs are very talented and easily capable of doing well. I"m sure things will turn around and they will have good season totals in the end. Outlaws Week 3 Reg Mackworthy: 29 attempts, 89 rushing yards, 3.1 YPC, 1 receptions, 7 receiving yards Week 4 Reg Mackworthy: 18 attempts, 59 rushing yards, 3.3 YPC, 3 receptions, 18 receiving yards Mackworthy carries the backfield for his team yet again, giving a great Week 3 performance and a not-so-special Week 4 game. They are a winning team with good players - he will continue to play well. SEASON TOTALS Through Week 4 Rushing Yards (at least 70 yards): 1. Farlane, 390 yards 2. Nuck, 363 yards 3. Maybe. Is it too early to call me the best? Nah. I took out return yards this time because it was getting to be much with all the diff numbers. Also took out the rankings for Week 3 and 4, since comparing the 2 weeks with all the RBs in the same post was hurting my brain. I'll add it back next week. Let me know if I messed anything up! I might have missed some things with 2 weeks of stats. Go Hawks!
