*New Talent Looks to make a Splash - IceBear32 - 03-05-2021

One of ISFL's newest young talents looks to make a splash in the S29 draft class. Linebacker David Frank brings his surfer boy attitude to the big stage. David was once one of Indiana’s top defensive high school players. David then enrolled into Ball State University where his priorities shifted from that of a successful athlete to a the “please-all partier”. David is one of the most likable guys on campus and has had a tough time saying no to a good time. As his college tenor continued to be some of the most enjoyable times of his life, he couldn’t help but feel like something was missing.

David eventually realized that gap that was missing, was the deep need for competition and remaining the best. Not only did he want to feel that he was the best, but he wanted a way to prove it. STATS!  Tackles, forced fumbles, interceptions… he has done it all before and has proved he can do all those better than anyone around him. Why not go back out there and do it again? “I still got it.”

With this new mindset David had an opportunity to pursue a career with the CSFL (Canadian Simulation Football League).  Unfortunately, this new dream was immediately halted when he stepped on the field and realized he no longer was the best. Matter of fact he didn’t even below on the field with the others trying to prove they belonged.

Now at a lost David seeks to find an alternative route that can fill the competitive void he has been missing. David will begin his journey but committing his efforts to the DSFL in hopes to become the high school star he once was. David’s goal isn’t just to land a spot on an ISFL team but to raise the level of competition of that team. He hopes to collect many individual accolades while in the pursuit of a title.
Be on the lookout for this very motivated individual as the draft nears. The commitment level is that of something we’ve never seen before.
