I’d like to thank everyone for checking out my first presser. As a brand new Player to Simulation Leagues I thought this would be fun.
What made you decide to join a sim league?
To start it would have to be my love for football. I’m one of those people who simply can’t get enough. I dive in to every New Football League created with the same die hard fandom of the NFL. I’m hoping to do that here. While I’ve never played in a Simulation League before I’ve probably played every Football Team Building game or application I can download. This seems like the type of thing I was meant for. I have my sights set on not only trying to create a great player but put myself in a position to help in a back office. Admittedly it is a lot to take in at first and I have to give a ton of credit to the ISFL & DSFL teams for the Rookie Mentors. Every Mentor I have dealt with has been beyond helpful, patient, and responsive to all my questions.
What made you pick Defensive End?
With this being my first Simulation League I kept things close to home. It was always my favorite position to play. The feeling you get after beating your man and having a straight line to the Quarterback back was for me something that no other position I played IRL could ever come close to comparing to.
Who will your render be, and why?
This was one of the hardest decisions I had to make having never needed to use a render before? Do I try to pick a player I think I look similar to? Do I pick the perfect Protype for the position? A personal favorite player? Or do I go completely away from the sport and pick something off the wall? Ultimately I decided to go with Howie Long. Once again keeping it close to home with my first simulation player. As a life long Raiders fan going with the NFL Hall of Famer seemed only fitting.
I’m ready for this Season, any GM’s or Scouts reading this worried about taking a new player I’ll tell you this I may be new but I will not be out worked.
