Change in PPT Timing - siddhus - 04-01-2021

The deadline for all predictions will be moved from 7:45 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET, effective as next week. All current PTs that have been posted before this, will stick to the timing that is on the thread to make sure that is fair, but any prediction threads posted after this, will observe the new time. The deadline will remain the same for point tasks and Ultimus Week, which will stick at 11:59 PM ET as it has always been.

With this switch to 8:00 PM ET, we will not be allowing any predictions after that despite if its one minute or fifty minutes late, and no matter if it takes two minutes for the sim to start or if the sim is delayed till 9:00. Tag me in any questions you have, or message me with any problems!

What happens when we move from EDT to EST in November?

RE: Change in PPT Timing - Bigred1580 - 04-01-2021

People are acting like this 15 minute rule was made to be super strict. When I was head I interpreted it as "Hey, get it done early, so you aren't late." I think common sense should reign here. Good that you are changing it, but imo it wasn't a problem before this.

edited in the post, but will be ET, so depending on Daylight Savings or Not, whatever the Eastern Time is, will be followed as 8:00.

not really sure what you are asking, but just to clarify any predictions like week 3 and 4 predictions already posted will be sticking to 7:45 ET, because when posted the OP already had that.

Good job I guess?

as i wrote in my rant, just close PTs when the deadline is over and you will never have any problem regarding deadlines. it's super simple.

That's almost too smart, they would never do that
