*Drip's WET BETS 4 - Drip - 04-14-2021

We Back Baby! Welcome to edition 4!
Early bettor gets the cash!
It's week 9, and boy oh boy am I excited! @LB3737 posted the sportsbook way early for this week, so we're comin at ya with an early edition of the wettest bets around! Also, if you haven't donated to the charity drive, COTA is a fantastic organization and definitely worth what we can give. I personally pledged to the casino drive, and I will be putting real and fake money up on how well I can bet. The casino drive is linked here, so give if you can! Now back to the main event, it's time to make some money! Except, these are a hard week of bets! No softballs like week 8. I have legitimately none of these bets that I am 100% sure about. So I am putting a bet on EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Let's get it started, and thanks for reading!

Running Count: 11-6
Total Earnings: -250k (No bets last week)

BER QB Nick Kaepercolin O/U 307.5 Yards Passing

This man has been on an absolute tear all season. Not only has he lead one of the 2 newest teams in the ISFL to Ultimini favorites, but he has done so in style. He is second in the league in yards (2594) and first in completion percentage (70.7%). Recently he has been on fire, throwing for 1241 yards in his last 3 games, including 472 in the Fire Salamanders only loss this season to Chicago. They're playing an Austin defense that just allowed QB Mike Boss Jr. of the Sailfish to throw for 445 yards. I am betting that Berlin will continue their terror on opposing secondary's this week.

NYS RB Captain Rogers O/U 74.5 Yards Rushing

The New York Silverbacks are the other newest team in the league, and while they aren't first in their conference, they have played well all season and hold the 3rd spot in the ASFC. A big part of that is their 4th ranked rushing attack, spearheaded by RB Captain Rogers (186 carries, 668 yards, 4 TDs). While he should be commended for being second in the league in rushing, I see a Liberty defense that has allowed far more scores through the air than the ground. I don't think the over is impossible to hit, yet the safe bet here is to take the under for a guy who has rushed for only 90 yards total his last 2 games.

OCO WR Garfield Despacito Jr. O/U 95.5 yards Receiving

Folks, you know me. I will always shy away from taking receiving total overs. I got burned by my own team and honestly, I don't know if I can take that pain again. And no offense, but I am not gonna forget about my past pain for a player who hasn't hit the over since a week 5 win vs Honolulu. That being said, they are playing Baltimore. But the Hawks defense will most likely be torn apart by the ground game. I don't see an over chance here, so take the under.

YKW Wraiths -6.5 vs +6.5 Hahalua  HON

This is a battle between 2 teams that could honestly go either way. QB Colby Jack of Yellowknife won't have much of a game versus the top ranked pass defense of Honolulu. Yet, as the favorites, it's a bet that RB Acura Skyline will be able to make some plays on the ground. Personally, I think that the Wraiths will be on upset alert, because of how strong the Hahalua defense truly is. Bet on the Hahalua keeping it close and shutting down the Canadian offensive system.

NOLA Secondline vs. Sailfish  SAR
O/U
 54.5 points
If there was an easy one, this would be it. I don't see second ranked Sarasota faltering against a weak NOLA team. Look for Rapthalia Chan to tear through the last ranked rush defense of the Secondline. I would also look for QB Mike Boss Jr. to continue his form after a very strong game last week. On the NOLA front, they haven't scored under 13 points all season, and I see Sarasota scoring 40+. I have said this before, but I think the Sailfish have a great chance to repeat as Ultimini champs, and I think they have a great chance at making me some MONEY this week!
