*NOLA Top 10 lists - S27 update - JuOSu - 04-20-2021

This has been super late this year, so I apologize for it. This has been a while but anyway, all of this is still accurate, for after S27. 


Game records:

Passing touchdowns: Ben Slothlisberger had the 4th game in NOLA history with 5 passing touchdowns! well done!

Passing percentage: Ben Slothlisberger had a 78.57 percent game, which is the 5th best game in NOLA history.

Passer rating: Ben Slothlisberger one more entry here with an insane 147.2 passer rating, the SECOND best game in NOLA history. Well done!

Receiving catches: Ed Barker had an insane game that season, with 12 catches in one game. Congrats! It ties the record. 

Receiving yards: Ed Barker enters the list at 6th spot with 148 and McCormick, the tight end, comes in at 9th with 145 yards.

Forced fumbles: M. Rikiya had 2 forced fumbles in a game, the fourth time that happens in a game for NOLA

Pancakes: Adam Mellott crushed it this year. He comes in twice with 10 pancakes, which puts him 4th and 5th and also he breaks the record with an insane FOURTEEN pancakes, four more than any other game in team history!

Extra points made: P. QB had a 7 extra point game, which ties the record, the fifth such game in team history.

Punt Average: P. QB really breaks the record here with a game of 62.2 yards per punt. The best ever! 

Punts inside 20: P. QB had two games with 4 each, 7th and 8th in the history.



Playoffs:

Passing yards: Slothlisberger has 1945 yards, only 700 yards behind the record, but he is still in third for now. 

Passing touchdowns: Slothlisberger has 13 touchdowns and gets past Francisco who had 12. He needs 6 more to tie Borkus.

Passing interceptions: Slothlisberger has 6 which puts him in 2nd place.

Passing percentage: Slothlisberger is in 2nd place here with 60.47 percent. 

Passing rating: Slothlisberger is in 3rd here but it is very close.

Rushing yards: Gump is in 2nd place, only 8 yards behind Toriki for the record. Rotchburns is in 4th already. Forty-Two is in 6th place.

Rushing average: Rotchburns is in 2nd, Forty Two is in 3rd, Gump is in 4th. 

Rushing touchdowns: Gump has the lead with 7, then Rotchburns already in 2nd place with 6.

Receiving Catches: Austin McCormick has the lead here by far with 87 catches. Ed Barker is 2nd with 57. Gump is fourth with 44. Bodenhammer is in 9th with 27.

Receiving yards: Barker and McCormick are 1st and 2nd here too but in reverse order this time. Barker is in 1st at 855, McCormick is in 2nd place with 806. Gump is in 6th at 408. Bodenhammer is in 8th with 352. 

Receiving average: Barker is in 7th and Bodenhammer is in 10th. 

Receiving touchdowns: Ed Barker is tied for the lead with 7. Gump and McCormick are in 3rd and 4th with 4 each. Bodenhammer is at 3 and in 8th place.

Tackles: Bode is in 1st with 88, Blaylock in 3rd with 59, Rector in 4th with 58. Light is in 7th with 47. 

Tackles for loss: Toblerone, Jones Jr. and Ranger are tied with 4, tied for 2nd place.

Forced fumbles: Bode leads with 3, Witten is tied for 2nd with 2. Rikiya and Light have 1. 

Fumbles recovered: Blaylock is tied for 1st with 2. Bode, Light and Rikiya have 1.

Sacks: Blaylock and Toblerone are tied with 4, at the end of the list.

Interceptions: Bode, Blaylock and Jones Jr. have 2 and lead the team there. Rector and Dissector have 1.

Passes defended: Rector leads with 14. Jones and Bode are also on the list at the end.

Kicking and punting: P. QB is on the list with every single statistic but there are too many that I don't want to all list.

Kick returns: Gump leads with 22, Blaylock has 16 and is in 3rd. Rector, Barker and Witten are also on the list.

Kick return yards: Gump leads with 653 which is almost double the next best. Blaylock is 3rd, Rector is 4th. Barker and Witten are also on the list.

Gump, Rector and Witten all have punt returns and yards there. Gump is the best of the bunch.

Pancakes: Mellott is in 3rd here, Jimbo is in 4th. 


Season:

This is always one of my favorite categories.

Passing yards: Ben Slothlisberger BREAKS THE RECORD and becomes the 2nd NOLA player ever to have a 5000 yard season. He ends with 5076 yards and is now in 1st all time.

Passing touchdowns: Ben ends up in 2nd here with 37 touchdowns. A great season!

Passing interceptions: Even here Ben was great, with only 9 interceptions, good for 7th best ever.

Passing percentage: Another record broken by Ben Slothlisberger, he had 64.4 percent and that was the record now!

Passing ratings: Slothlisberger breaks another record and becomes the first NOLA player to have a rating in a season over 100. He ends with 103.86 and has the new record here.

Receiving catches: Slothlisberger was not the only record breaker here. Ed Barker breaks the record of most catches in a season, the first NOLA player ever to have 100 catches in a season. 111 is the new record. Austin McCormick is 5th with 86 catches, a great season as well!

Receiving yards: Barker continues his record breaking year with another one here. 1753 yards is the new record. 

Receiving touchdowns: Arguably the best receiving year ever, another record for Ed Barker with 13 touchdowns. Congratulations! Adam Spencer had 11, which is good for 7th.

Forced Fumbles: Medicinal Toblerone and Andrew Witten both had 4 that year and tie the record, the 4th and 5th person to do so.

Sacks: Medicinal Toblerone has 12 sacks and comes into 10th in this list. 

Interceptions: Andrew Witten ties the record with 7 and gets into third with it. 

Passes defended: Witten has 26 this year and had the 5th best season in NOLA history.

P. QB comes into 6th with extra points made, 4th with field goals made, 1st in punt average (new record!) and 1st in punts inside 20 (new record by quite a lot! 29 to 24)

Punt return average: Witten comes into 3rd place here.

Pancakes: Adam Mellott breaks the record and becomes the first NOLA player to reach 100 pancakes. He had 118! An insane record. Jimbo comes into 4th with 80.

Mellott also had 0 sacks allowed, the tenth person to do so.


Career:

And now for the final and most important category. The career NOLA stats.

Passing yards: Slothlisberger inches closer to Stan and is still in third place. 

Touchdowns: Slothlisberger still in third place as well here.

Interceptions: Slothlisberger climbs a spot and is in third place here as well now.

Passing percentage: Slothlisberger had a great season and climbs two spots into third, passing Borkus and Stan.

Passing rating: Slothlisberger climbed two spots here as well, beating Stan and Borkus and is now the career leader in passing rating for NOLA Quarterbacks.

Rushing yards: Gump still leads here. Rotchburns still in 8th but getting closer to some higher spots.

Rushing touchdowns: Gump still 7 away from the record and in 2nd place. Rotchburns climbs two spots from 10th to 8th and now has 14. 

Receiving catches: Austin McCormick climbs a spot and now holds the top spot in NOLA history. He has 606 catches. Ed Barker jumps an insane FIVE spots and climbs from 9th to 4th. He has 435. Gump loses a spot and is in 5th now.

Receiving yards: Barker climbs three spots and now holds the 2nd spot in NOLA history, an absolute legend He climbed three spots! McCormick not far behind him, also climbs two spots and is now in 4th place.  

Receiving average: Barker is still 2nd, Bodenhammer enters the list at 7th. McCormick is in 10th.

Receiving touchdowns: What a jump from Ed Barker who jumps six spots and is now in 2nd place with 43 touchdowns. McCormick jumps one spot and has 39 in 3rd place now.

Tackles: Bode still in the lead. Blaylock and Rector both jump one spot and are now 5th and 6th. 

Tackles for loss: Toblerone jumps three spots with a good season, now 4th place with 35. Not climbing that list more this year so far Sad

Forced fumbles: Bode still leads, Blaylock still in 4th. Witten enters the list at 7th. 

Fumbles recovered: Bode still leads here as well, Blaylock is in 3rd. 

Sacks: Blaylock breaks a record! With 50 sacks, he passes Slothface for the record. Bode gains two spots and is now 8th. 

Interceptions: Rector gains a spot and is now 2nd with 31. Blaylock is still in 5th. Witten gains two spots and goes from 8th to 6th. 

Passes defended: Rector still in the lead. Andrew Witten gains four spots and is now 4th. Bode still in 10th.

Defensive touchdowns: Rector gains six spots and is now 3rd place here. Great jump! Witten is 10th.

P. QB enters at 7th place for extra points made, extra point percentage and field goals made. He also enters at number 1 for punt average! And enters at 7th for punts inside 20.

Andrew Witten enters the list for punts returned at 8th, punt return yards at 7th. He also enters at number ONE for punt return average. 

Pancakes: Jimbo gains a spot and is now 2nd all time. Mellott gains two spots and is already 4th. 


And that was it for last season!

Always look forward to these but just small note that I don't go by Forty-Two in ISFL anymore. I name changed a while back.
