Hello everyone!
This post is just to quickly spread word of a couple things as we start to pass the half way mark in this charity drive. Firstly, there is going to be a charity stream done during the off-season, which some may or may not know what this is already, but be on the lookout for an announcement regarding this on either Friday or Saturday,
Secondly, as per discussions with general managers, giving feedback and suggestions as to the auctions, with their input the conclusion has been reached that it would be beneficial to move up the finishing time of auctions to allow users to know how much they may have spent or not spent, in order to then go purchase perks without needing to worry about doing separate transactions.
There will be two stages to the deadline for auctions. Firstly, the deadline will be moved from the 10th of May to Monday the 3rd at 11:59pm EST time. The anti-sniping rule will still be in effect, meaning any bids made within the last 12 hours (from 11:59am onwards), will start a 12 hour timer from that bid, and any bids afterwards restart the 12 hour timer. Any auctions with no new bids at 11:59pm will be closed. If auctions are still on-going when it reaches 11:59pm on the 10th of May, the timer will be reduced to 8 hours since the last bid to speed up the process" Reminder, once an auction is won you have 24 hours to donate the correct amount. If you wish to wait until purchasing some perks or results of other auctions, please DM me to make me aware of this, but I have no issues with it happening.
Thirdly, The donation page has many would have seen, ask for a state/province and only included those in the USA and Canada. There is no an "Other" option for all people outside of these countries that they can use whilst donating. You still use your normal address and details for the rest of the fields, and it will be processed as the checks done by the site are using the information from the other fields to approval the transaction.
Lastly, a small word on how I am processing your perk purchases and to tell if you can start either talking to the people you purchases something off for your claim or to work on it as someone who put a perk up for sale. I go through the confirmation page, check your links and ensure you have the right total, double check the donation page, and then edit your post so say "PROCSSED". I then go to the Charity spreadsheet and put in your name next to the perks you purchased, change the amounts to reflect this donation and that's pretty much it. This means that if you see your name next to an item in the charity sheet, you have been processed/approved to receive it or go into that raffle. At this point, depending on what it is you claimed, you can message the person to let them know or give your suggestion/topic for review, or just wait until you receive it. The same goes for those who put up the perk, you can reach out to those people who need to give you the suggestion or work out the time to give them their claim.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU SHOULD BE ADDING THE LEAGUE NAME WITH YOUR USERNAME WHEN DONATING ON THE SITE SO WE KNOW WHERE YOUR DONATION IS COMING FROM. THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR MYSELF AND THE CHARITY PEOPLE IN OTHER LEAGUES TO KEEP TRACK OF WHERE CLAIMS ARE BEING MADE FROM.
