Ioe Torrent – D-End from Kansas city Missouri
If you’re here ready this, then I assume you are here to get to know me a little more. First things first, my name is Ioe (I-O) the e is silent. I come from a long line of football-playing Torrents. I started may Career playing little football for my ol man. HE new from the get-go, that his boy was born to play in the trenches. Like most boys, I started playing flag football, as a Tight end. As I was always a little bigger. Once I got old enough for tackle I found my niche. That niche is hitting people. My old man told me at the beginning that the football field is where you go to hurt people and not get in trouble. So as I grew and grew to play sandlot football in the great state of Missouri, I finally reached high school. I attended a large suburban school known for having an elite weight training program. Outside the gridiron, the gym was my second home. From the age of 13 those weights was where I went to blow of steam, and get things off my chest (Literally). The coaches noticed pretty early that I loved to lift, and work hard every day. My high school career was fantastic and after growing to be 6 foot 5 at 17 years old overpowering the high school competition was pretty easy. The next phase was to pick a college. And many of the normal Midwest schools came to visit. I knew though that the most likely best place for me to grow and get a chance to play ant the highest level was to go to D-Line U at the university of Missouri. And boy was that a rude awakening. The term big fish in a small pond being high school and a small fish in a big pond for college is exactly what it was. My first practice we went live with no pads and boy did I get humbled. And even though coming in I was one of the stronger Dline players I had a lot to go before I could contribute…… ope would you look at that we are out of time… tune in next time we I fill you in on my awesome college career.

lol-- this is actually pretty dang close to real life for me... i played college football just not at Missouri.. and i did get knocked into humble pie on my first practice.
