If the London Royals hope to repeat as Ultimini Champions, they certainly have their work cut out for them. A large chunk of the championship winning team is being called up to the ISFL this season, with QB Red Arrow Jr. (SJS), RBs Manhattan Project (COL) AND Taipan Pete (NOLA), DE Glenn Smart (ARI), DT Fergus Callaghan (ARI), CB C.J. Sonjack (PHI) and CB Willie Miller (SJS) all getting the call up to the big leagues.  This leaves the Royals without an active QB or RB on the roster.

Here's a look at some potential players to fill those holes, in no particular order.

QB - Matthew Holford - Just created a few days ago and so far very active.  Up to 88 TPE already.  Took a few lumps in the Prospect Bowl, but hey, who doesn't right? This would likely have to be a first round pick so London doesn't miss out. Most of his early training has been focused on accuracy, which is always a good start.

RB - Tron Carter - Carter is already up to 147 TPE, including full Tier 6 equipment. Tron had a field day in the Prospect Bowl.  His first game he only posted 31 yards, but the second game he broke out for 99 yards and a TD, then one-upped himself in the 3rd game with 101 yards and a TD. Tron certainly appears to be a weapon in the making.

S - Miles Weperom - This one is a bit of a no-brainer.  Miles joined London as a waiver add, and immediately made an impact. His first game with the team (Week 13) he posted a 10 tackle, 1 sack, 1 FF stat line and earned Defensive Player of the game.  Already with a trophy to his name, London would love to have him back to help defend the title.

RB - Kiara Tenoh - Another early joiner and up to 112 TPE already, Kiara also had a breakout performance at the Prospect Bowl, posting 139 yards in the first game. 79 yards in game two, and 41 yards and a TD in game 3 are pretty good follow ups.  Training focus so far has been on Speed.

QB - Sal Shaw - Shaw is a recent create and only up to 79 TPE so far, but showed pretty well in the Prospect Bowl. 97 yards passing with 0 INT in the first game, 127 yards and no INTs in the second game, 62 yards and an INT in the 3rd game was a little rough, but his team still won.  Training has been pretty balances so far between strength and accuracy.

DT - Dominos Pizzaman - I mean, just the name alone is golden right? Already up to 87 TPE with a lot of the rookie/first timer tasks, and had a pretty good showing in the Prospect Bowl.  3 tackles and a sack in game 1, 2 tackles in the second game and then an impressive 7 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble in the 3rd game as Edinburgh took home the championship.

It remains to be seen who London might pick, but they have several holes that need to be filled.  Thankfully, this is looking like a relatively deep class and so London should have plenty of prospects to choose from.

The title defense starts NOW.

I need Gary Lineker's thoughts about this though.
