*Crouse joins Seawolves - Twinsfan87 - 05-31-2021

Jeremy Crouse was just claimed by the Norfolk Seawolves off of waivers.  The star running back played for Alabama for 4 years before making the jump to the ISFL.  Crouse finished his college career with 904 carries for 5,321 yards rushing. Crouse had 84 touchdowns in college.  Crouse is looking forward to this new chapter.  “I am excited to play for the Norfolk Seawolves.  I believe the future is going to be awesome for this team. My career is going to be dedicated to my father, who was unable to finish his career due to injuries.  The Norfolk Seawolves had a playoff team last year, going 8-6 last year, losing in the first round of the playoffs after winning it all the year before.  Norfolk Seawolves are excited to get Crouse, “Crouse is very fast and put up some solid numbers in college.  We think he can help us get back to being a championship caliber team.  He has all the tools, we just need to work on a few things with him to get him to where we need him to be. He can outrun just about anyone on the football field, we need him to be smart with the ball, as he did have a little bit of a fumbling problem at Alabama, if he can figure that out, he will do great things in this league.”  Crouse was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and went to Central High school where he played football, hockey, and baseball. His parents are Arnold and Susan Crouse.  His father Arnold was a QB for USC before getting hurt in his junior year, ending his football career, he now is a teacher in the Detroit public schools.  His mother works as a patrol officer in Detroit. He was a 5 star player accepted to Alabama and helped the Crimson Tide win 2 championships in his 4 years.
