Week #10 Broadcast

Agent Tesla: Hello and good time appropriate greeting dear readers! We are in the final stretch and here to bring you highlights from week ten of the DSFL season. Hope everyone is enjoying it so far! Sim Rep if you would please start us off!

Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Bondi Beach Buccaneers. Luchadores won 37 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Miracle Whip of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 98 yards, an average run of 5.2 yards, a long of 15 yards, 2 touchdowns, 4 receptions for 11 yards, an average reception of 2.8 yards, and a long of 7 yards.

Agent Tesla: First and ten early in the first quarter and Whip ran 12 yards for the first conversion of the day. Later in the first on second and ten Whip added another with a 14 yard run that crossed midfield. Partway through the second quarter on third and goal Whip made it into the end zone for a 4 yard touchdown run. Then followed it up by starting the next drive with a 15 yard run on first and ten. Their opening drive of the second half saw Whip convert a second and seven with a 14 yard run, a second and one with a 7 yard run, and finally a second and two with a 6 yard touchdown run to end the drive. Just in case all that were not enough their first touch of the fourth quarter was a 10 yard run on first and ten. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Sheriff Woody of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 pass defended, 1 interception, and 1 defensive touchdown.

Agent Tesla: Midway through the second quarter on third and seven Woody made the tackle 4 yards short to finish out a three and out. Opening drive of the second half on third and eight Woody ended the drive early with a picked off pass they returned 15 yards just across midfield. The next opponent drive Woody ended early as well with an 11 yard sack on third and ten combined with a forced fumble they returned 1 yard into the end zone for a touchdown. Immediately following that Woody had a tackle short of the line to gain on second and ten as part of a three and out.

Game one of the week is in the books and so now we move onto game two please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at London Royals. Seawolves won 31 to 24. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Raeni Clarke of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 25 of 36 for 291 yards passing, an average pass of 8.1 yards, 2 touchdowns, a passer rating of 112.2, 5 rushing attempts for 22 yards, an average run of 4.4 yards, and a long of 6 yards.

Agent Tesla: Clarke's first big play of the day came near the end of the first quarter on a second and eight where she connected on a 53 yard pass that combined with a facemask penalty led to a goal to go opportunity. Her second came late in the second quarter on a first and ten as she connected on a 22 yard pass to get into the red zone. It was the fourth quarter where Clarke really showed up though starting with a 14 yard pass completion on a third and seven to keep a drive alive, and it was a most important drive at that as she finished it off with a 7 yard touchdown pass on second and goal. Along with arguably her best play of the day on a third and ten in the closing seconds of the game where she connected into the end zone on a 25 yard pass for a touchdown. Next up is defense!

Defensive player of the game is cornerback Savior Hawkins of the London Royals with a stat line of 5 tackles and 3 passes defended.

Late in the second quarter on second and ten Hawkins popped up to break up a pass to help hold the opposition to a field goal attempt. What won them this award though was their goal line play on the opening drive of the second half as on first and goal they made the tackle short of the line to gain, on second and goal they broke up the pass, and on third and goal they made the tackle short of the line once again to lead to a field goal attempt. Single-handedly turned a drive from a touchdown into a field goal in one of the hardest places to play for a defender.

Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Dallas Birddogs. Birddogs won 24 to 16. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Ivan Toastovich of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 6 receptions fro 136 yards, an average reception of 22.7 yards, and a long of 66 yards.

Agent Tesla: Opening of the second half and Toastovich returned the kickoff for 25 yards, and then on first and ten hauled in a 23 yard reception to reach midfield. Fourth quarter Toastovich burned the defense though with a 66 yard reception on second and twenty-one good for the longest play of the day and a trip to the red zone. Defense up next please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive tackle Carter Fox of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 for loss, 1 sack, and 2 forced fumbles.

Agent Tesla: First play by Fox of the day was a tackle right near the line of scrimmage on a first and ten as part of a three and out as the first stop for their team of the day. Partway through the second quarter Fox did it again with a tackle near the line of scrimmage, but with the added bonus of a forced fumble this time around. Third quarter on a first and ten Fox once again made the tackle near the line of scrimmage, and this time helped hold to a field goal attempt on fourth down. Final drive of the third quarter on first and ten Fox had a 2 yard tackle for loss to help force a fourth down punt. Early in the fourth quarter on a first and ten Fox got behind the line for an 11 yard sack and forced fumble.

Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 24 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back John Huntsman of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 36 rushing attempts for 149 yards, an average run of 4.1 yards, a long of 21 yards, and 1 touchdown.

Agent Tesla: First and ten midway through the first quarter and Huntsman made their first big play of the day as they ran 21 yards into the red zone. Huntsman then ran for 5 yards on first and ten, two yards on a free play, and 5 yards on first and goal for the first touchdown of the day! The first play of the second quarter was a Huntsman run for 18 yards on second and sixteen. Similarly in the third quarter Huntsman opened a drive with a 16 yard run on a first and twenty, and also converted the fourth and two that arose from it with a 10 yard run. Just for one last play Huntsman converted a third and six with an 8 yard run to lead to victory formation. Once more to defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Jacob Raske of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.

Agent Tesla: Right near the end of the first quarter Raske made the tackle short of the line to gain on third and sixteen to lead to a punt on fourth down. Second quarter after the two minute warning Raske stepped it up with an 11 yard sack that knocked the opponent out of field goal range. Raske's third and final play of the day was their best as late in the third quarter on first and ten they picked off the pass, and proceeded to run it back 25 yards into the end zone for a touchdown.

Week #11&12 Broadcast

Agent Tesla: Hello and good time appropriate greeting dear readers! Another DSFL doubleheader is in the books and that means we have a whole lot of highlights to cover for you today. Sim Rep please get us started with the first game of week eleven!

Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 31 to 28. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Kazimir Oles Jr of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 33 of 47 for 444 yards passing, an average pass of 9.4 yards, 4 touchdowns, 1 interception, a passer rating of 119.5, and a 1 rushing attempt for -2 yards.

Agent Tesla: Opening drive of the day and Oles Jr had a trio of plays worthy of highlighting starting with an 18 yard completion on first and ten, followed by a 20 yard completion on second and ten, and finally an 8 yard touchdown pass on second and goal to make the drive meaningful. Second drive of the day was even better for Oles Jr as they connected on a 79 yard touchdown pass on first and ten. Second quarter saw Oles Jr step up during a two minute drill with a 14 yard completion to start the drive, an 18 yard pass to convert a third and four, a 26 yard pass on second and ten to get into the red zone, and a 10 yard touchdown pass to tie the game up. Almost halfway through the third quarter on first and ten Oles Jr found the end zone one more time for a 26 yard touchdown pass to even up the score again. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive end Mills Wallace of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 8 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.

Agent Tesla: Partway into the first quarter on second and two Wallace got behind the line of scrimmage for a 2 yard tackle for loss as part of a three and out for their first big play of the day. Opening drive of the second half and Wallace was part of another three and out with a tackle near the line of scrimmage on second and ten. Third quarter and Wallace was involved in a third three and out with a tackle at the line of scrimmage on third and three that forced a fumble. Fourth quarter and Wallace was even better with a 7 yard sack on a third and nine for their fourth appearance in a three and out.

Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Dallas Birddogs. Birddogs won 44 to 38. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Raeni Clarke of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 12 of 25 for 105 yards passing, an average pass of 4.2 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, a passer rating of 52.9, 6 rushing attempts for 185 yards, an average run of 30.8 yards, a long of 87 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Agent Tesla: Second play of the second quarter and on first and ten Clarke took it herself 87 yards into the end zone good for a touchdown and the longest play from scrimmage of the game. Later in the quarter on second and goal Clarke found the end zone again with a 7 yard touchdown pass. Even later in the quarter after the two minute warning on second and nine Clarke connected into the end zone again with a 13 yard touchdown pass. Opening drive of the second half and Clarke took it herself again with a 74 yard touchdown run on first and ten. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Richard Mansher of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception.

Agent Tesla: Late in the first quarter on second and eight backed up against their own end zone Mansher made a major play with a picked off pass and returned it 30 yards to put their team in good position. Second and nine in the second quarter Mansher had their second big play with a 7 yard sack to knock the offense back.

Week eleven game three please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Kansas City Coyotes. Coyotes won 20 to 17. Offensive player of the game is kicked Izuku Campbell of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 2 of 2 on extra points, 1 of 1 on 20 to 29 yard field goals, 1 of 2 on 30 to 39 yard field goals, 7 punts for 310 yards, an average punt of 44.3 yards, a long of 61 yards, and 5 inside the twenty.

Agent Tesla: Campbell's first play of the day came late in the first quarter and was an almost perfect punt as they launched it 40 yards on fourth and eight to the 2 yard line. Just a few minutes later on fourth and eleven they managed a solid second play with a 32 yard punt that was downed at the seventeen yard line. Late in the second quarter on fourth and inches Campbell punted it 44 yards to the seven yard line for their third punt without a return. Opening drive of the second half and Campbell finally gave up a return, but it was only a four yard return on a 61 yard punt on fourth and ten that left them inside their own twenty. Less than two minutes left in the third and Campbell finally got to kick a field goal on fourth and six, and it was a 26 yard kick clean through the uprights. Then in overtime on fourth and seven Campbell kicked a 38 yard game winning field goal to wrap up an impressive day! Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive tackle Prof Godfrey Gravity of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 9 tackles, 2 for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.

Agent Tesla: Last drive of the first quarter and Gravity made the tackle on first and ten short of the line to gain to help make it a three and out. Early in the fourth quarter on first and ten Gravity made the tackle shorto f the line to gain once again, but this time did more as they recovered a fumble they forced with a 1 yard return to take over in opponent territory. Second play of overtime and they did it again with a 2 yard tackle for loss on second and two, and a forced fumble they recovered with no return.

Sim Rep: Game Bondi Beach Buccaneers at London Royals. Royals won 33 to 17. Offensive player of the game is kicker Rainbow Dash of the London Royals with a stat line of 3 of 3 on extra points, 3 of 3 on 20 to 29 yard field goals, 1 of 1 on 40 to 49 yard field goals, 2 punts for 105 yards, an average punt of 35 yards, a long of 40 yards, and 1 inside the twenty.

Agent Tesla: Early in the second quarter Dash converted their first fourth down with a 21 yard field goal. It was the second half where they really turned it up though starting with a 42 yard field goal on a fourth and ten midway through the third quarter. Just a few minutes later on fourth and goal Dash did it again with a 29 yard field goal. Opening drive of the fourth quarter and after a lot of eaten clock Dash kicked one last field goal from 22 yards out on fourth and one. Then just for good measure managed a 32 yard punt inside the twenty on a fourth and nine in the closing minutes of the game after a three and out. Defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Savior Hawkins of the London Royals with a stat line of 7 tackles, 3 passes defended, and 2 interceptions.

Agent Tesla: Early in the second quarter on second and fourteen Hawkins undercut the route to pick off the pass with a 14 yard return to set up first and goal. Midway through the third quarter on third and eight Hawkins did it again with an interception returned 10 yards to take over in the red zone.

Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Dallas Birddogs. Luchadores won 28 to 27. Offensive player of the game is kicker Jean-Jacques Leroy of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 1 of 1 on extra points, 2 of 2 on 20 to 29 yard field goals, 1 of 1 on 30 to 39 yard field goals, 2 of 2 on 50+ yard field goals, 6 punts for 287 yards, an average punt of 47.8 yards, a long of 62 yards, and 4 inside the twenty.

Agent Tesla: Leroy's first play of the day was a 39 yard punt on fourth and two that pinned the opponent at their own eight yard line. Their second big time play came near the end of the first quarter on a fourth and three when they connected on a 21 yard field goal. Just about a minute left in the first half when Leroy connected on their second field goal of the day from 38 yards out on fourth and five, and then with just seconds left in the half they connected on a booming 56 yard field goal on second and ten. After a three and out to open the second half Leroy punted 57 yards to the opponent's ten yard line on fourth and three. Midway through the fourth quarter on fourth and three Leroy kicked another field goal this time from 28 yards out. What really won them this recognition though was the final drive for the team which Leroy got them with a successful onside kick attempt, and that Leroy turned into points with a 53 yard game winning field goal on third and one. Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Luke Watterson of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 9 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 pass defended.

Agent Tesla: Opening drive of the second half and Watterson made sure it did not go anywhere with a tackle short of the line to gain on third and ten, and with the added benefit of a forced fumble on top. Watterson went one better with the next drive as they made the stop at the line of scrimmage on first and ten, and then recovered a fumble forced by a teammate on second and ten to take possession in field goal range. Third drive of the third quarter and Watterson broke up a pass on second and seven as part of a three and out. Partway through the fourth quarter on second and one Watterson managed a 2 yard tackle for loss that forced the offense to settle for a field goal. Later on third and sixteen with a few minutes left on the clock Watterson made the tackle well short of the line to gain to force a fourth and ten play.

Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Norfolk Seawolves. Pythons won 45 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Jax Baker of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 23 rushing attempts for 141 yards, an average run of 6.1 yards, a long of 19 yards, and 1 touchdown.

Agent Tesla: The last real drive of the first quarter was the Baker show as they turned a second and ten into a 17 yard run, a third and seven into a 12 yard run, a second and nine into a 12 yard run, and a third and inches into a 19 yard run to set up first and goal. They were rewarded for that midway through the second quarter with a carry on first and goal that went into the end zone for a 3 yard touchdown run.  Early in the fourth quarter Baker did it again with an 11 yard run on second and one, and immediately followed it with a 12 yard run on first and ten to get into the red zone. Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Teddy Murphy of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 10 tackles, 1 for loss, and 1 sack.

Agent Tesla: First play of the day for their defense and Murphy made it a 1 yard tackle for loss as part of a three and out. It was the fourth quarter where Murphy really stepped up though starting with a tackle near the line of scrimmage on first and ten, and that was on a drive that would end in a turnover on downs courtesy of Murphy making the tackle on fourth and nine. Later in the quarter on second and ten Murphy made it into the backfield for a 6 yard sack that led to another turnover on downs just two plays later.

Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at London Royals. Grey Ducks won 13 to 9. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Mason Malone of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 7 receptions for 154 yards, an average reception of 22 yards, a long of 75 yards, and 1 touchdown.

Agent Tesla: Malone's first target was a 25 yard reception on first and ten partway through the first quarter. It was the third quarter though where Malone made their mark as they caught a pass on the initial first and ten of their first drive of the half, and took it 75 yards into the end zone untouched for the touchdown. Later in the fourth quarter Malone proved they still had gas in the tank with a 19 yard reception on a first and five play. Talk about defense please Sim Rep!

Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker LaCarpetron Dukemarriot of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 9 tackles, 1 for loss, and 1 sack.

Agent Tesla: Two minute drill in the first half and on first and ten Dukemarriot surrenders just 4 yards before making the tackle, but then on second and six yields nothing as two parts of a three and out. Midway through the third quarter on third and eight Dukemarriot made the play by getting into the backfield for a 7 yard sack that led to a quick punt.

Sim Rep: Game Bondi Beach Buccaneers at Kansas City Coyotes. Buccaneers won 35 to 21. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Gimmy Jaroppolo Jr. of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 21 of 31 for 341 yards passing, an average pass of 11 yards, 3 touchdowns,1 interception, and a passer rating of 123.2.

Agent Tesla: Two minute drill and Jaroppolo Jr. started it off right with a 30 yard pass completion on first and ten to cross midfield in one play. Their next big play came with just a few minutes left in the third quarter as they connected for a 2 yard touchdown pass on first and goal for their first points of the day. Just a couple minutes later on a second and six Jaroppolo Jr. did it again with a 71 yard touchdown completion. Final two minute dril and Jaroppolo Jr. started it off right once again with a 39 yard pass completion, and this time were able to make it work with a 40 yard passing touchdown on the second and six just a play later. Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Chathack'rius Smith IV of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception.

Agent Tesla: During the two minute drill in the second quarter Smith IV made a huge play as they picked off a pass at the one yard line, and proceeded to run it back 6 yards to give some breathing room to prevent a safety. That by itself would probably be good enough, but Smith IV stepped it up big time in the back stretch of the fourth quarter with an 11 yard sack that knocked the opponent out of field goal range.
