*S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - slate - 07-12-2021 Alright alright settle down, here they are. Much lower effort than last season so I'd like to absolve myself of some blame beforehand if these end up being terrible. Use these as a rough guide and adjust based on your own thoughts. Once again I've sorted players into tiers with decent sized gaps between them, so basically I think any of the players in the same tier are reasonable choices if those are the options left. QUARTERBACK Tier 1 1. Mike Boss Jr. 2. Colby Jack 3. Mattathias Caliban 4. Suleiman Ramza Tier 2 5. Charlemagne Cortez 6. Nicholas Kaepercolin Potential Waiver Breakout: Ryan Negs RUNNING BACK Tier 1 1. Danny King Jr. 2. Jamar Lackson 3. Zoe Watts 4. Tatsu Nakamura 5. Cobra Kai 6. Goat Tank This is a huge Tier 1 compared to previous seasons so it deserves a bit of a comment. Tatsu is not the slam dunk 1oa pick he's been in the past as he's dropped in TPE below "backup" RB Deadly Memes (formerly Runner Turbsin Gunner Thorbjornsson). He will still get the bulk of the carries but the Outlaws are much more likely to be using a real committee approach to running this season. While Tatsu and Arizona's run game in general are still effective, the carries won't be split 325-24 in Tatsu's favor again like last season, and he probably won't get all but 2 of the rushing touchdowns on the season either. Meanwhile you have some great-but-regressing options without solid backups in King Jr and Lackson, an overall great RB in Watts whose team is coming off a tough season and hasn't seemed to be able to effectively use her to her full potential (and her backup is quite good as well), and two up-and-comers with question marks in Cobra Kai (whose team is projected to be near if not at the bottom of the league) and Goat Tank (whose team loves to pass the ball rather than run it). I don't really know how to rank those 6 but I'm quite confident these are the top 6. Tier 2 7. Captain Rogers 8. Richard Gilbert 9. Busch Goose 10. Chizuru Ichinose Tier 3 11. Mike Rotchburns 12. Madison Hayes 13. Deadly Memes Tier 5 14. Lonnie Jackson 15. Jay Cue Jr. Potential Waiver Breakout: Jim the Vampire WIDE RECEIVER Tier 1 1. William Lim 2. Jackson Kingston 3. Kai Sakura Tier 2 4. Taro Raimon 5. Videl-San 6. Garfield Despacito Jr. 7. Joshua Campbell Tier 3 8. Eleven Kendrick-Watts 9. Tychondrius Hood Other Good Receivers (Totally unordered) Luca Scabbia Tugg Speedman Killian Chambers Cmon Skiuuup Darren Pama Tre'Darius J'Vathon Mark Walker Other Okay Receivers Ed Barker Cole Maxwell Owen Holloway Honestly I have no idea with wide receiver, I find it the hardest position group to predict and that's no easier this season. Realistically any of the "Other Good Receivers" have the potential to end up finishing in the top few tiers, so even the Tier 2 / 3 delineations are not that clear cut. Follow this rough guide on who might be viable and just go with who you like and which teams you personally think are going to pass the most successfully. Then be ready to play the waiver game with whoever you get. Note: Just because there's a big mess at WR in the lower tiers doesn't mean you should try and target two top receivers early. I think it's too important to get two of the top tier RBs to go after two WRs in the first two to three rounds. Potential Waiver Breakout: Literally any WR, but in particular I think Tsuyu Asui has some really really high upside this season. TIGHT END Tier 1 1. Zee Rechs 2. James Angler 3. James Lewandowski Tier 2 4. Ragnar Krashwagen 5. Adam Spencer 6. Clark Boyd 7. Borgo San Lorenzo Potential Waiver Breakout: James Wilkinson , yet again. Just can't quit you. OFFENSIVE LINE Tier 1 1. Adam Mellott 2. Jaja Ding Dong 3. Bob Roberts (Zayn still stinky tho) 4. Bruce Buckley Tier 2 5. Alexander Franklin 6. Mo Magic 7. Calvin Golladay Potential Waiver Breakout: STUMPY JONES KICKER Tier 1 1. Jacob Small 2. Cade York 3. Danny King Sr. (HO please force him to make this name change) Tier 2 4. Jean-Jacques Leroy 5. Jake Fencik 6. Taipan Pete 7. Matthew McDairmid Potential Waiver Breakout: Lux Opal but don't use waiver priority on a kicker. DEFENSE Tier 1 1. SAR 2. COL Tier 2 3. NYS 4. BER 5. AUS Tier 3 6. YKW 7. ARI Potential Waiver Breakout: PHI RE: S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - Sebster - 07-12-2021 god bless your soul RE: S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - zeagle1 - 07-12-2021 tfw fantasy advice guy is in your group RE: S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - WildfireMicro - 07-12-2021 The Frog is stronk for the waivers RE: S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - Mooty99 - 07-12-2021 Damn you max out as a QB and get ignored smh RE: S30 Fantasy Ranking Guesses - Amidships - 07-12-2021 Leo Bloomfield retired. The Austin kicker is Jean-Jacques Leroy. Slightly higher TPE than Bloomfield was at retirement, so probably doesn't change the order much.
