New Multi Definition - Swanty - 07-15-2021
As per the results of this season’s rules summit, voters have overwhelmingly decided that no individual may have more than one forum account, otherwise they will be treated as a multi.
What this means is that if a user is found to have multiple accounts, action will be taken to ensure that the user will not have access to more than one account.
While this makes the rule a lot more clear cut going forward, we recognize that this is a change to what the explicit definition of a multi was previously, perhaps at a time when an individual might have created a second account. So if there is anyone out there who has two or more forum accounts for any reason, we’re offering a final chance to come forward and be subject to the previous interpretation of the rule.
We will not be revisiting cases that were already ruled on previously, but if you as an individual have created more than one forum account for any reason, please contact a member of HO within one week of this thread being posted. If you do, we will work out which, if any, rules were broken as per the previous interpretation of the rulebook and act accordingly. If you don’t and we later discover that you have multiple accounts, any appropriate punishment will be applied with the new definition of a multi..
