The Quack2Quack Champions get a Fresh New Look - IceBear32 - 09-06-2021

Coming off two incredible victories in the Ultimini, the two-time defending champions, the Minnesota Grey Ducks, are excited to announce a new era in Land of a Ten Thousand Lakes!! Originally founded in Season 3 as the San Antonio Marshalls, the team rebranded and relocated to the Northstar State as the Grey Ducks in Season 20! Today, at the start of Season 31, we proudly announce to continue the rich history and culture of the ducks in the DSFL by giving the team a fresh new look and field.

Season 3 to 19:

Staying true to the original loon-y rebrand, the new logo will incorporate the uniquely Minnesota color scheme inspired by its name sake water fowl and icy home state! The light blue remains as the primary color exemplifying the ice in the team's veins. While the two light and dark grey accents it, inspired by the loons that populate the area and the lakes. Upholding the history, the previous logo will not be forgotten, but instead it will become our secondary logo showing the full extents of the flying duck!

In addition to the primary duck-head logo, three different variations of the main logo were created as alternates to expand the refreshed branding! The "Duck M" will be seen as the midfield logo in the same vein as the "MN" from the previous logo honoring our home state. While the other two alternates proudly display the full primary and secondary team names, respectfully!

Finally, Minnesota has also renovated The Quack Shack to reflect the new branding while taking a more traditional approach to the field design. Going back to our roots, we installed a natural grass field and decorated by the help of our nearby fowl neighbors!

A special thanks to @RussDrivesTheBus and @Crodyman for creating such a great culture and locker room that myself (IceBear) and @Painted hope to continue into the new era!

Additionally the Ducks would like to thank @Nokazoa for his work on the previous logo that has brought so much success and iconic branding. We also want to thank @jackkmart for creating the base and direction of the brand refresh! We greatly look forward to the new direction of the franchise and can't wait for the draft and the start of the season!!

Soon my mark in this league will be erased once Honolulu and London changes logo. I like the new logo BTW.

Finally! When I was making my field mocks, I was kinda disappointed in how lobsided the old logo was. This one is a lot cleaner.
