BILLS BULLSHIT

Bill’s Bullshit is a daily journal of William Fontaine de La Tour Dauterive’s life in which he vents about the things in his daily life that cause him some irritations or annoyances. Once a day he will write about these things in hopes of getting his anger out on pages instead of the football field.

Entry 2:

Well, another game another goddamn taunting penalty. This league is really trying my patience, I mean how do they expect the fans to be entertained when the players are penalized for every little thing they do? It doesn’t make sense, they let us get away with way more in my Pee Wee football league.  I can’t even talk shit to about an opponents momma without two or three yellow flags flying in the air. Sorry I really wanted to write about something else but it’s now two games in a row where I hurt my team because of a taunting penalty. And the game today hurts extra because it was such a close game that now I won’t be able to sleep without thinking that I cost our team the win today.  Well looks like I’ll be making a call to my court mandated therapist, maybe she’ll be able to calm me down before I go absolutely postal. There was a good lesson to take away from all this buffoonery however, and that is that no matter how good you think things are going, they can always become bad in an instant. No matter how good or invincible you may be feeling, the world has a funny way of humbling you. You can’t let people around you know that you are enjoying yourself because there will always be haters out there that will try and bring you back down. As soon as I cracked my first smile today on the football field, lo and behold the referee was right there ready to put me in my place.  I don’t know how much longer I can continue to bottle my emotions, but one of these games they will erupt like Mt. Vesuvius and all hell will break loose.  Until then I will continue taking my medications and speaking with my therapist to hopefully keep me under control, but times like this you really never know what might set me off. Why just yesterday I was at my favorite Mexican food shop and there was this one guy who kept on staring at me. At first I tried to ignore him but he just wouldn’t stop looking right at me. After a few more minutes of uncomfortable silence, I walked up to him, swung my foot around swiftly, and jammed it right into his ass. Ol’ boy started tearing up real quick and left the restaurant shrieking in tears. Come to find out he was actually just a fan who was awe struck because I was his favorite player. I felt bad and tried apologizing to him but by the team I was outside the restaurant he was already gone. Honestly I feel a little bad about that still, but at the same time c’mon you can’t just be staring at someone like that in public. Its basic common courtesy.  Anyways they have really good carne asada burritos here and you better believe I ordered two of the grande burritos. They should probably just go ahead and rename it the Billdozer burrito already.
