Just a simple idea of wanting to show the best players in every position based on their overall rating.

So ultimately it is very interesting to see how the different positions have different overall ratings. I want to point out Ricky Maddox is the player with the biggest lead to the next best player.

Here is how often teams are on this list:

Arizona Outlaws: 7
Philadelphia Liberty: 5
Baltimore Hawks: 4
San Jose Sabercats: 3
Las Vegas Legion: 2

And here is how often teams have the best player at a position:

Arizona Outlaws: 2

I don't know what metric this uses but I think there's a strong case for Delacour as a top CB. He has an assload of tackes (57), a Forced Fumble and he recovered it. He has a rare sack for a CB, He has 5 Interceptions with 2 returned for TDs. And he has 13 Passes defended, tied for 4th in the league.

Lavelle, the listed top CB has 8 less tackles, no Fumble stats or sacks. 1 less INT, no TDs and only 1 more Pass Defended.

Either you missed out on Delacour somehow in your findings or the metric used for determining best CB is flawed in some way.

It's entirely based on the DDSPF overall number. Nothing to do with statistics or peformance.
