Mori no More - Memento Mori - 10-20-2021
As the team already knows, Season 31 was my final season as Orange County Otters GM. Though the new sim hasn't been kind to us, I've really enjoyed the opportunity to manage the team along with @Blasoon and then @Gragg9. I'll try to keep this relatively short, as our players have already had to read one of these.
I want to thank Blas and Gragg again, publicly this time, for all they've done while we've managed OCO together. The results on the field are not the result of a lack of effort on their part, and I'm really grateful for all they've done for the team and for me personally.
Thank you @Frostbite and @scorycory, my first GMs, for introducing me to testing and scouting and all the other war room duties that eventually served me as GM as well as just being incredible people.
A thank you to @Hallmonitor_20 and @TubbyTim69 for drafting me to my number one draft destination, immediately bringing me into the war room and trusting me with testing and other duties when I was a fresh-faced enthusiastic rookie.
I want to thank @"Laser", @jeffie43 and @Blasoon again for bringing me to Orange County almost a year ago now. The worst six seasons in OCO franchise history followed my signing, but I've loved it here. So, to the rest of the ASFC: you're welcome.
Finally, I'd like to thank everyone in HO and the other GMs - past and present - for making GM chat an enjoyable space. Please continue gnomedabbing draft picks in my absence. I'm counting on you, @zaynzk.
Now that the sad part is over, please welcome @shrub02 as the newest co-GM of the Orange County Otters! We knew from the moment we drafted them that Gragg and Shrub would play a huge role in OCO's future, and I'm excited to help Orange County as a player and war room member under their leadership. Shrub's been a key contributor in the war room along with Gragg since their rookie seasons in S28, and I know the team is in capable hands.
