RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - LordEscanor - 11-28-2021

All Pro team of the half-season, huh? I’m going to make an Offensive team, and I’ll certainly be unbiased. Anyway, we’ll start with the QB position.

At Quarterback, I’ll take Malcolm Savage.
Norfolk has been borderline unstoppable this year, and at the helm of it all is Malcolm Savage. He’s been having a phenomenal year, with over 1800 passing yards and 17 passing TDs.

At RB, I’m taking John Riggins. Absolute beast in his sophomore season, over 600 rushing yards, and a league-leading 10 rushing touchdowns.

At WR, how could I not take the best WR in the league, Escanor Sama? With almost 700 receing yards, and 5 TDs, he’s an absolute stud.

At WR2, I’ll have Malcador the Hero. He’s got 666 receiving yards (nice) along with 6 receiving TDs.

At Tight End, I’ll take Mark Goodhead. With over 500 yards, he’s more than 200 yards ahead of the second closest Tight End. He’s also got 6 receiving TDs to pair.

DSFL Team of the half-season:

OFFENSE:

DSFL North:

QB:
Wendell Sailor POR

Boasting the highest passer-rating and being tied for the lowest INTs so far shoots Sailor up to number 1

WR:
Deandre King POR
Bud R. Fingers KCC

A pair of rookies takes this spot for me. Despite having only one touchdown, King is leading the league in reception yards, as Portland's big-play receiver. Fingers is 4th in yards and has a very balanced stat sheet

RB:
Rocky Rhodes  LON

Rhodes leads the league in rushing yards while having 4 more TDs than 2nd place. Makes him an easy pick

TE:
Mark Goodhead:  POR

Goodhead is putting up borderline WR1 numbers as a tight end. Miles ahead of everyone else in the league at the moment

K/P:
Levy Tate MIN

One of only two non-bot kickers in the DSFL North at the moment. Makes him an easy pick for the spot

DSFL South:

QB:

Malcolm Savage NOR

Looking to repeat his MVP campaign from last season, Savage is off to a great start with some league-leading statlines.

WR:

Escanor Sama DAL
Malcador The Hero  NOR

Sama has Dallas' passing game and WR1 slot all to himself after some key WR departures last season and he's making the most of it. Malcador and his fellow WR Johnny Patey are a potent duo for Norfolk, both having top-3 stats in yards and TDs respectively

RB:
John Riggins DAL

Riggins is tearing up this season, leading the DSFL South in rushing yards and the entire DSFL in rushing TDs.

TE:
Jake Endson NOR

The DSFL south has quite a lot of competition for best TE in the division. Endson stands out with a balanced statline on an offense that has plenty of mouths to feed.

K/P:
Jack Lewis  NOR

Leading the league in almost everything, ez pick

DEFENSE:

DSFL North:

LB:
Spicy Ron POR
De'Carr Rek KCC

Ron leads the North by 2 sacks with a total of 6. Picking up the slack left by Portland's departure of Pasta The Turtle. Rek has been all over the field with solid stats, racking up TFLs and Pass Deflections as well as being tied for 2nd in the North in sacks

DT
Franklin Turtle  MIN
Owen Baker KCC

Turtle and Baker have been staples in their respective D-lines. With Turtle racking up 8 TFLs already

DE
Doc Fireball LON
Cracka Hovey  POR

The former 1st overall pick Doc Fireball has been showing us why he was picked so high, giving us one of the most well-balanced stat-lines on the defensive line in the league

CB:
Modern Nazgul MIN
The Laz POR

All-stars doing all-star things, these two should need no explanation as they've been coveted secondary players for a while

S:
Siaosi Multiauaopele POR

Another strong player in Portland's stout defense. Siaosi can be all over the field when needed.

DSFL South:

LB:

Nathan Claflin  NOR
Sconnie McHits NOR

Inarguably the most brutal LB duo in the league, both of these all-star LBs being on the same team makes Norfolk's defense an absolute nightmare.

DT:

JJ Jay-Jay Jamison II DAL
Arnie Rufus NOR

JJ leads all DTs in sacks at the moment with 4, anchoring down Dallas' defensive line. While Rufus follows closely behind in almost every stat-line

DE:
Caleb Watt TIJ
Leonardo McTurtle TIJ

The first Luchadores to land on this list, Tijuana sits at a quiet 5-2 behind Norfolk's dominant season. But one of the things that doesn't get talked about enough is how absurd their defense is. Tijuana leads the league in sacks with 29! To put that in perspective, Norfolk sits at 2nd with 21, after that, the next closest is Minnesota with only 15. The Luchadores have been feasting this year, and these two are BOTH tied for 2nd in sacks with 6 a piece.

CB:
Doc Holiday  TIJ
Ben Delabaguette  DAL

Holiday is yet another strong point in Tijuana's defense, while Delabaguette leads all non-bot players in INTs, alongside a wild 14 PDs

S:

Ladamien Beck TIJ

Despite no longer being active as a user after taking a break, Beck continues to show strength as a player with some strong stat-lines on a black hole defense

RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - moonlight - 11-28-2021

There have been a lot of great performances of this season. One player in particular, Dezter Zaylren, is putting up an MVP performance. He currently has 3000 yards, 26/2 TD/INT ratio. He is leading a 7-3 team, the Berlin Firesalamanders. A defensive standout so far is Big Slammu. He is third in the league in tackles, tied for 3rd in TFL, 2nd in Sacks. He is hoping to increase his int count and get a few defensive TDs. Slammu still feels he was robbed last season of awards and he's hoping he can break the hump and finally get that defensive award he's been craving. When it comes to skill players, Goat Tank is having another great season. He's leading in yards and is 2nd in TDs. A standout WR so far is Tugg Speedman, 2nd in receptions and first in receiving yards, with a solid TD count of 6. We will see who ends up on top at the end of the season.
