Looking at the most electrifying league in sim entertainment. the DSFL has been full of great defensive plays, due to how atrociously awful some of the offenses are. With that said, let's take a look at the secondary, linebackers, and then defensive lines in this half way point review.
In the secondary, it's hard to look beyond the Bondi Beach Buccaneers CB Rip RavensKnees (@Trempale), with no less than FIVE ints this season so far. That's 1.25 ints per game! Trow in over 4 tackles per game, and breaking up passes like it's nobody's business, this is not a close call, folks.
There must be something in the water over at the Bondi Beach Buccaneers training ground, because at linebacker we've got #69 Senbyō Korin (@scorycory), who has been an RB's nightmare for 4 games straight. 32 tackles this year puts him at #2 in the league, but it's the MASSIVE 5 tackles for a loss that puts him head and shoulders above the rest.
For defensive line, we finally move away from BBB to sing the praises for the standout DE of the DFSL, Greg Strongjaw. A player who selflessly leaves the stats to others, Greg is the foreman of KCC, who simply shouts orders and makes sure everyone else looks better than him... so much better than him.
