Captain Rogers was called by the Avengers immediately after the Ultimus to fight some weird purple alien guy over some space rocks. He came back to team facilities looking 80 years older and said "I'm retiring" before passing his shield to Brandon Prince.
"Are you gonna tell us what happened?"
"No. No I don't think I will"
