Introducing: DSFL Season Predictions - siddhus - 01-03-2022
For Season Predictions this season, the Player Progression Team has elected to make a change and add DSFL Season Predictions to the list of available point tasks to be completed. There are a few changes that will happen because of this.
First off, you may only choose to do one of either the ISFL or DSFL Season Predictions. You may not do both of them, and if you do end up doing both of them, your final score will default to your ISFL Season Predictions score.
Both Predictions will run under the same scoring system which includes 4 participation TPE and an extra TPE for every correct prediction you get. Now you may notice that the DSFL has 6 fewer teams than the ISFL, which would lower the max amount of TPE you can get from predictions in DSFL from the 19 of the ISFL to the 13 in the DSFL. We elected to not change the scoring system, as the DSFL is generally easier to predict than the ISFL, so the average TPE earned should stay the same. We will be monitoring the results to see if any changes need to be made in future seasons.
The deadline for both predictions will be for week 1 of the respective leagues. For this season, that would mean ISFL will close on January 10th and DSFL on January 13th.

I love this! I see people complain every season that they missed predictions, so this will give everyone a few extra days to do DSFL predictions instead if that happens.

ETA: After thinking about this a bit more, what would people think about people who do both getting the maximum of their TPE between the two? Just so that there's less feel-bad about choosing to do ISFL predictions and having a really bad season.
