It's a new year, a new season, a new player. Thar be so much t' look fore t'. Startin' wit' the obvious, I wants t' win. Aft all, ye play t' win the game. I wants t' see Minnesota bring home the championship.

It all starts wit' practice. Nah the game. We be natterin' about practice. Thar be no substitute fer gettin' those reps in. 'n the things ye work on in practice translate t' the games. Win enough o' those, 'n ye're goin' t' the playoffs. Playoffs?!? Ye're damn right. Let's bring home the Ultimini.

As far as individual achievements go, I hope t' make the Pro Bowl 'n get some consideration fer Wide Receiver o' the Year. I wants t' put on a great campaign so that I be attractive t' the ISFL teams. By this time next year, I hope to be a star struck rookie in the big leagues.

Still, it's about the crew. Jus' win sprog!

The S33 Draft went especially well for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. So the first time in his tenure Ricky LaFleur was actually hyped up and set the expectations high for the season. Especially since the other teams in the division also had a rough offseason. So basically the playing field is even for one of the first times. The last two seasons the Bondi beach lost most of their rookies to first year calls ups, which in itself is also a huge acomplishment! Losing most of their just capped players after one season meant that it was very hard to keep up with other teams.

This year it will be different, this year Bondi will try to reach the top. With getting about 8 active players with waiver pick ups they look very strong for this season and if they're lucky with call ups even more next season! You heard it here first!

After last season, there were a lot of things to improve after last season. A major one is a decline in pancakes, that is probably due to how Stumpy Jones has mellowed out as he has gotten older. In this offseason, He has focused more on being a role model to the detriment of pancakes. The addition of intelligence and role model has actually been a negative for stumpy. It has taken an edge off of him. It reduced his mean streak which was important for blowing up opposing defensive linemen. Stumpy did miss out on awards, which was a bit of a let down. When considering he was the highest pancake accumulating offensive linemen with zero sacks allowed. In seasons past that would have net stumpy an offensive linemen of the year, but apparently one 15 yard penalty was enough to prevent stumpy from winning, which was very uncharacteristic of the international simulation football league.

As a newly drafted DSFL player and now an ISFL prospect, Simon the Frog's resolution for this season is to be noticed by ISFL scouts. He managed to get drafted very high at 9th overall (especially considering the recent drafting trend in DSFL), and he intends to improve on that position and become a first round pick in the ISFL draft. For that to happen, Simon needs to be his best self and be the 'fast and twitchy' cornerback he was back in college. Granted, he won't get a lot of interceptions and might be exhausted a little fast, but that's something he can improve on as the season progresses. As he's rolling with a relatively young (yes, even for DSFL standards) Bondi Beach team, he'll get a lot of platint time. He just needs to utilize those snaps enough to make some significant impact. Hopefully at the end of the season, Simon can achieve all his goals and go to a good team while helping Bondi Beach win. (169)

Well. Resolutions and improvements are an interesting one for Wendell Sailor. He went last season to the Ultimini with the Portland Pythons in the Development Simulation Football League but fell short losing to the Norfolk Seawolves in the final game. So as far as improvement there all there really is is going one step further and winning it all. The hard part there is though that he was called up to the International Simulation Football League now and is the starting quarter back for the Arizona Outlaws. So really the resolution for Big Wendell Sailor is to take this team to the Ultimus and win it for everyone. This team has been a powerhouse for a long time and just never been able to make it to that final step but this year is the year to finally do that and break whatever curse is on this team. This will definitely be the goal of the rest of the Outlaws. It has been great to start training and working here and seeing how committed everyone is to this team and how hard everyone works for each other. It has been especially great to have new import to the team, Jay Cue Jr. Son of legendary Outlaws QB. Just an amazing person to have in the team.

Trevor Lorenzen has one main new year's resolution that he has been working on: lose some weight. He has went from over 300 pounds to about 280 pounds. But since this is Trevor's first ever true full season in the DSFL, he is definitely hoping to throw more then just one touchdown this time. He has been working hard with his receivers to achieve this goal, and his new season's resolution is to throw more touchdowns then interceptions in the new season. He knows that the Kansas City Coyotes are still probably a season or two away from being a true contender, a big thing he wants to do this season is prove himself to all the KCC fans.

Speaking of that, he also has another resolution and that is to hopefully throw at least 15 touchdowns on the season despite the team having more of a running attack on offense. If he does that he will consider the season a success. This is honestly the hardest he has ever worked in the offseason and he is ready to achieve all his goals this season.

New year, new Honky.  But not in a super ambitious way.  Season 33 will see Honky Tonk Haywood enter his second year of regression, and some tough decisions are being made.  Now that I’ve built up a modest but decent little sum of cash in the bank, the idea of starting to hoard that cash for my next go-around has some real appeal.  Nevertheless, the Liberty have now finally established itself as a league power, and old man Honky wants to be a part of this run while it lasts.  So Haywood has put in the work in the offseason, bought some shiny new equipment, and will be – perhaps for the last time – trying to establish himself as one of the premier defensive tackles in the league.  While the individual accolades and stat stacking may be about done for Haywood, he has his eyes on team goals.  Competing for that Ultimus.
