Big Slammu has felt noticeable decline in his performance during the offseason and has almost gotten back to 100%. The injuries and violent play style over this relatively short football career are starting to catch up to him. Big Slammu doesn't know how much longer he has on the football field but he's made the resolution to be more grateful and appreciative of his time in the ISFL before he retires. He doesn't know if he'll be a future HoFer or anything, but he hopes he is remembered. Less for the his offseason reality TV show appearances, or controversy on the football field but for his aggressive and highly successful play on the football field. Big Slammu isn't necessarily looking for redemption but is rather looking to savour his last few seasons in the ISFL. Street Sharks is also ending soon as the brothers have felt too old to continue their hit reality TV show, so Slammu is looking at what he can do post football.

ISFL season 33 has brought significant changes to the Sarasota Sailfish defense. Ernest Lover has always been happy playing behind a roster of Sailfish greats since he got traded to the team early in his career. But with many of the veterans who played alongside Lover having retired--players like Cuco Clemente, Fawn Dillmiballs, and Mike Karpaasi--it is time for Lover to step up alongside his draft class teammate Demon Jaxson to lead a new era for the Sailfish defense. Lover's S33 resolution is to help the younger defensive players like Spike Daniels, Lennay Kekua, and King Zeus continue to develop and find their home in Sarasota's defensive scheme. For a player who likes to lead by quiet example, taking a more vocal role in practice and on the game day field is pushing Lover out of his comfort zone. But he is looking forward to growing more as a person and a teammate with the new season and the new year.

Saying goodbye to teammates that have helped Lover become the player he is today has been hard, but welcoming new rookies is equally exciting.

For Petey Patterson, the start of the 2047 season of the International Simulation Football League has brought a dramatic change. Compared to most of his offseasons with the Sailfish which have maybe involved getting to know a few new teammates and maybe learning updates to a few of the defensive schemes, this offseason has had Petey learning an entirely new position. After reviewing the roster for the upcoming season, Petey met with the Sailfish general managers to discuss the possibility of moving him to play Safety to replace departing superstar and future Hall of Famer Cuco Clemente alongside Spike Daniels. With the continued development of Calvin Hobbes, the staff was eager to move him outside to play alongside Petey's longtime counterpart Harrison Andrews, and felt that Petey's skillset would suit him well for the conversion. So Petey's resolution for the new season has been to dedicate himself to this new position and help the team fill the large shoes that Cuco left behind.

Season 33 is well underway now for our pal Demon Jaxson, Defensive End of the Sarasota Sailfish, and with a new season comes a new year,  coincidentally enough. For this reason, Jaxson has opted for the first time in his life to write up a list of resolutions. 33 is the first season in which he is experiencing the theft that is regression, and so for this reason at the top of his list of new years resolutions is to earn as much tpe as he physically can. Unfortunately he's already failed this one, missing predictions week 3 & 4, but oh well, nobodys perfect. Next up on Jaxsons resolution list is to make the lives of opposing quarterbacks as difficult as possible, whether it be through sacks or simply blowing up the line of scrimmage, he plans on doing it.  Lastly on Jaxsons list, he has written that a third ring is a must get.

Sakeem Webb is ready to start making noise. He felt a bit snubbed this last season in the Defensive Rookie of the Year award but it only motivated him more. The Silverbacks did amazingly this last season by surprising the ISFL with a win in the Ultimus Cup Finals and Sakeem did well in the game. But he's ready to start being recognized for his talent when rushing the passer. He believes that with further focus and strategy he can start posting truly great sack numbers. Sakeem might be a year or two away from truly being in the top top of competition but there is no doubt that his ability to beat the offensive lineman in the league will be generational. Continuing to grow technique and learn to throw players off balance will be what does it for him. As well as rushing the passer, Sakeem hopes to continue his stellar play as a ball hawk. He drops back fairly often for a linebacker and will be doing some again this year. Hopeful that he will pick off more passes this year and generate more turnovers. It's a long season ahead and Sakeem is ready for it!

Louis Blondin is a linebacker. This is why his first new year's resolution is kind of weird. Louis wishes that in 2022, he will start to score more touchdowns. The problem is that he plays a defensive position. So after being drafted by the London Royals, he went straight to the coach and asked to play in an offensive role. The coach was impressed by his confidence, his agility, and his speed, so he decide to make Louis a wide receiver. Louis is training all offseason long to be ready to play his new position. Right now he feels ready and he can't wait to score his first touchdown.

Louis Blondin's second resolution is to be the best of his draft class. To do this he is training really hard every day and does his best to earn a lot of money. He really hopes to be in the top 5 during the next ISFL draft.

Louis's third resolution is to win another DFSL title. He already has one, but two is better. He will do his best with London to make sure it happens.
