Vincent Jones Jr has past his prime. This is his first season where he has regressed. He knows he only has a few good seasons left in him and with the start of S33, Vincent knows he needs to get back to the Ultimus soon. His resolution is simple, do everything he can to help the New Orleans Second Line win football games, enough to get the in the playoffs and then a couple more to get back to the big game. The Ultimus game. Vincent has been there once, his rookie season, he was part of the losing New Orleans squad and ever since that loss, he has wanted another shot. At least one more chance to do what he wasn’t able to in his younger days. He has gained skill and experience since that rookie campaign, he knows what it takes to win and he wants to give it. This New Year has brought the start of another year and another ISFL season, for Vincent it also brought a chance to reflect, to get a better understanding of what he would like to with his last few seasons as a pro.

Last season ended with heartbreak for the Sabercats, they ended up missing the playoffs by the slightest of margins. With the start of the new 33rd season of the International Simulation Football League, Panda McKyle has a ton of new goals. First thing first, he wants to break the team passing touchdown record that is held by Monty Jack. McKyle worked on his arm strength all season, and hopefully it will result in more touchdowns. Second, McKyle wants to keep his interception numbers down. He had a few last season so he will look into improving that. He worked out with his coaches on plays that will keep that number down. Also to that he kept working with his young receivers on routes and signals to improve their efficiency. Lastly, this will tie together with the two goals, which is to win! Sabercats need to start making the playoffs and competing for the Ultimus. This is the ultimate goal for every player. Or at least it should be.

Well with the new season underway, Sheriff Woody is hoping to hit the ground running and piece a driving force in Baltimore being a serious contender this season. What can he do to make sure the Hawks are able to put up more wins than we have previously. And he's off to quite the start, leading the league in sacks and winning the first game of the year for his team with a walk off safety in overtime. That's what Woody's role really is for the team as an outside linebacker. Make those big impact plays and get to the quarterback. Just last game he had a strip sack and recovered the fumble to set up a touchdown on the next play. Baltimore has had nothing but 1 score games this season so moments like that can really secure a win for the squad. Put the team in a position where they can win. Eat up some blocks so that my fellow linebacker AJ Lucas can get to the QB himself, and he's rocking the second most sacks in the league. Get that big play on 3rd down to force a punt. Woody wants to be a difference maker out there. Focusing on those plays is his plan for this season.

It is a new year, but it is the same ole Skiuuup. Skiuuup realises he js getting old and the legs have started to fall off. So he has started to be more realistic with his expectations and his resolutions. He is only 30, but a wide receiver's lifespan in football is short. Does he want to win a ring? He does, but remaining in an aging Berlin roster shows one thing. Him realising he is not defined by rings. But this year's motto in the german capital is "One Last Dance". And it is obviously it. Unless there is a miracle to be pulled by the Fire Salamanders frony office, this looks like Skiuuup's last chance at a ring. He is too old to leave and go ring chasing. His wife and kids are the most important thing in the world for him. And he wants go be with them. Which is the reason he remained in Berlin after testing FA a few seasons back.
