*Historical OL Rankings - Who is the Greatest of all time? [Top 50 - Up to Season 30] - NicholasTheGreat - 01-19-2022

Hello everybody!

Welcome back to my historical Offensive Lineman work where I will utilise a points system that will tell me who the greatest Offensive Lineman are of all time. This list is only compromised of humans and the stats were taken at the end of Season 30. Another thing to note is that you only received credit for events if you were an Offensive Lineman.

I want to apologise for the delay in getting this article out so late, holidays are a bitch.

Points System

The points system used is:
- 0.1 Points per Pancake
- -1 Point per Sack
- 62 Points for 1st in Pancakes, 61.5 for 2nd, all the way down to 0.5 for 124th and 0 for 125th
- 5 Points Per Season Played
- 10 Points for Winning an Ultimus
- 15 Points for making a Pro Bowl
- 30 Points for an Offensive Lineman of the Year Award
- 50 Points for a Most Valuable Player/ Most Outstanding Player/ Offensive Player of the Year
- 100 Points for being a Hall of Famer [The points are pro-rata’d for the amount of time the player spent as an Offensive Lineman, for example someone who spent half their career as an Offensive Lineman would get 50 points of the 100]

Other Information

Now, before we get into the full rankings, I need to bring something else up. For complete fairness, I went and awarded Pro Bowl spots as well as Offensive Lineman of the Year in seasons where those awards were not. I chose who won those spots with who had the most pancakes, with 10 taken off per sack allowed. Having a set system allows for less bias Let me run through what I added

S4 Pro Bowl – 5 Offensive Lineman Played. 3 of them were awarded Pro Bowl Honours
S14 Pro Bowl – There was 1 Offensive Lineman from each conference. Both of them were awarded Pro Bowl Honours
S16 Pro Bowl – There was 1 Offensive Lineman and he gets Pro Bowl Honours by default
S17 Pro Bowl – There was 1 Offensive Lineman and he gets Pro Bowl Honours by default
S18 Pro Bowl – There were 4 Offensive Lineman, 2 from each conference. The top OL from each conference gets Pro Bowl Honours
S19 Pro Bowl – There were 5 Offensive Lineman, 3 from one conference and 2 from the other. 2 lineman from the conference of 3 get Pro Bowl and 1 from the conference of 2.
S20 Pro Bowl – There were 5 Offensive Lineman, all from the same conference. 3 of them will get Pro Bowl Honours
S21 Pro Bowl – There were 4 Offensive Lineman, all from the same conference. 2 of them will get Pro Bowl Honours.
S4 OLOTY – Was given to a bot. I corrected this and gave it to a human
S14, S16 and S17. OLOTY were not given out so I did the honours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rankings

50th: Jordan Yates [74.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 2, Pick 11
Teams Played for: Orange County Otters, San Jose Sabercats OCO SJS

- Season 2 Pro Bowler [San Jose Sabercats]
- Season 3 Pro Bowler [San Jose Sabercats]
- 3 Seasons Played
- 121 Pancakes [71st]
- 10 Sacks Allowed

Jordan Yates had 2 successful seasons for the San Jose Sabercats in early league history that resulted in pro bowl appearances. His above average pancakes led to these honours. The Pro Bowls boosted Yates up the all time rankings and he landed inside the top 50, 21 spots above his pancake ranking of 71st.

49th: Matt Krause [75.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 84
Teams Played for: Berlin Fire Salamanders BER

- 2 Seasons Played
- 226 Pancakes [40th]
- 0 Sacks Allowed

Originally a safety, Matt Krause moved over to Offensive Lineman towards the end of the peak of his career. He’s 2 seasons at the point of record were great pancake numbers with a perfect sack allowed record, zero. Krause is incredibly unlucky not to pick up any accolades during his Offensive Lineman tenure, losing out to all time seasons as well as being a victim of the unfair, OL pro bowl rules. The lack of accolades see him drop from his pancake rating of 40th to his overall rating of 48th.

48th: Maurice Virtanen [75.6 Points]
Drafted: Season 18, Pick 7
Teams Played for: Yellowknife Wraiths YKW

- Season 26 Ultimus Champion [Yellowknife Wraiths]
- 3 Seasons Played
- 196 Pancakes [43rd]
- 10 Sacks Allowed

MURTSIIIIII. My boy Virtanen played a few seasons at Offensive Line at the tail end of his career after having a decent career as a linebacker. 3 Average seasons followed with the highlight being the Season 26 Ultimus Victory for the Yellowknife Wraiths, their 2nd in a 4 year stretch.

47th: Taylor Cooper [75.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 88
Teams Played for: Berlin Fire Salamanders BER

- 3 Seasons Played
- 208 Pacakes [41st]
- 2 Sacks Allowed

Cooper played an average offensive lineman for a few seasons in the late 20’s. They weren’t good enough to pick up any accolades but weren’t poor enough to rack up the sacks allowed which would drop them down these rankings.

46th: Lebron James III [76.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 26, Pick 24
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish SAR

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Ultimus Champion
- 2 Seasons Played
- 133 Pancakes [63rd]
- 3 Sacks Allowed

LeBron James has had an average career so far, which might even be described as below par by certain critics. He’s ranking has been boosted by winning an Ultimus with Sarasota as well as picking up a Pro Bowl for a 75/0 season, a beneficiary of the unfair Pro Bowl rules in which players with triple digit pancakes did not pick up an acclaim.

45th: Running Back [77.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 34
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish SAR

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- 2 Seasons Played
- 184 Pancakes [48th]
- 4 Sacks Allowed

Running back partnered Lebron James on the Season 29 Sarasota Sailfish line and joined him in the Pro Bowl. 2 average seasons saw him ranked 48th all time in pancakes, his Pro Bowl appearance boosts him up to 45th in the all time ranking.

44th: Leeroy Jenkins [78.5 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 79
Teams Played for: Colorado Yeti COL

- 2 Seasons Played
- 260 Pancakes [36th]
- 2 Sacks Allowed

Leeroy was a wide receiver for the majority of his career but swapped to the line at the peak of his career. His 2 seasons so far have been great in pancake numbers, giving him a ranking of 36th in pancakes. His lack of accolades in his career so far prohibit him from moving further up in the all time rankings, landing him at 44th on this list.

43rd: Slurms McKenzie [80.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 26, Pick 17
Teams Played for: Austin Copperheads AUS

- 5 Seasons Played
- 309 Pancakes [25th]
- 25 Sacks Allowed

Slurms played 5 mediocre seasons for the Austin Copperheads, only averaged about 60 pancakes a season as well as averaging 5 sacks allowed per season. He’s longevity boosts him into the top 25 of pancakes but his lack of accolades and league leading sacks allowed drop him to 43rd all time.

42nd: Bob Bob [81.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 11
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish SAR

- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Ultimus Champion [Sarasota Sailfish]
- 2 Seasons Allowed
- 149 Pancakes [56th]
- 3 Sacks Allowed

Bob Squared was another average offensive lineman that played in the last twenties. Average pancakes but picked up an Ultimus in Season 30 as well as a Pro Bowl. Bob wasn’t anything special but still finds himself 42nd all time.

41st: Maximus Chungus [82.4 Points]
Drafted: Season 18, Pick 48
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 20 Pro Bowler** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 21 Pro Bowler** [Awarded by Me]
- 2 Seasons Played
- 134 Pancakes [61st]
- 3 Sacks Allowed

While being relatively unknown, Maximus Chungus was a big part of the Offensive Lineman change. Being one of the first in the new wave of lineman to play in the big leagues, Chungus set the path for the Season 21 and 22 players to forge their own path without limitations in their place. He picks up 2 Pro Bowls awarded by me as the award was not given to offensive lineman at this time. A trailblazer for the second wave of lineman.

40th: Alex Thomas [84.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 1, Pick 30
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 4 Pro Bowl** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 1 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- Season 2 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- Season 3 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- 4 Seasons Played
- 126 Pancakes [68th]
- 22 Sacks Allowed

Alex Thomas has quite a large accolade folder. He was part of the triple threat of Outlaw Ultimuses at the very start of the league. He also picks up a Season 4 Pro Bowl after that accolade wasn’t awarded at the time. He doesn’t have great pancake numbers and has allowed one of the highest amounts of sacks in league history. A player all over the place but finds himself within the top 40 all time.

39th: Mattress Cadaire [84.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 24, Pick 42
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- 5 Seasons Played
- 268 Pancakes [33rd]
- 13 Sacks Allowed

Cadaire has played averagely throughout his 5 seasons as an Offensive Lineman. He hasn’t picked up any awards or accolades throughout his career so far as well. His longevity sees him 33rd on the Pancakes rating but the lack of awards and a high amount of sacks allowed lead him to end 39th all time.

38th: Donald McBobby [85.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 33
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- 3 Seasons Played
- 192 Pancakes [45th]
- 4 Sacks Allowed

Cadaire’s partner in the interior of the Outlaws offensive line, McBobby played similar to Caaire but allowing fewer sacks. As a result of this and the hilariously inadequate Pro Bowl rules, McBobby ended up in front of Cadaire in the all time rankings.

37th: Rigby Raccoon [86.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 33
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws, Chicago Butchers ARI CHI

- 3 Seasons Played
- 288 Pancakes [29th]
- 5 Sacks Allowed

Another former Outlaw sees himself join his former partners in crime McBobby and Cadaire on the list. Raccoon had some decent seasons in his time as an Offensive Lineman and racked up almost 300 pancakes, landing him at 29th all time in Pancakes. Not picking up any accolades or awards limits Raccoon’s ability to make it further up this list.

36th: Macaroni ‘Mac’ Elephant [89.4 Points]
Drafted: Season 24, Pick 32
Teams Played for: Philadelphia Liberty PHI

- 6 Seasons Played
- 299 Pancakes [28th]
- 19 Sacks Allowed

Mac played 6 below average seasons for Philly in his career as a lineman. His longevity being the main reason for his rise in this list to 36th. Mac also allowed quite a few sacks, being towards the top of the all time list.

35th: Hal Fassingit [92.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 20, Pick 8
Teams Played for: Austin Copperheads AUS

- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- 4 Seasons Played
- 252 Pancakes [39th]
- 11 Sacks Allowed

Hal was at the beginning of the wave that resulted from the trailblazers of the teens. Originally a defensive lineman, Fassingit became part of the OL Club in Season 22. He performed well and picked up Pro Bowl honours in Season 24. Often outshadowed by the bigger names at the time, Fassingit performed well to end up as the 35th greatest lineman of all time.

34th: Jogn Floggity [94.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 1, Pick 26
Teams Played for: Yellowknife Wraiths YKW

- Season 1 Pro Bowler
- Season 2 Pro Bowler
- Season 3 Pro Bowler
- 3 Seasons Played
- 154 Pancakes [54th]
- 16 Sacks Allowed

A triple Pro Bowler, Jogn Floggity was one of the greatest Offensive Lineman in the first generation of OL. Jogn’s pancake count landed him 54th all time in the pancake list, 20 places lower then his final ranking position of 34th. He’s accolades boost him up to this spot on the list.

33rd: Clay Stallworth [97.4 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 26
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish, Philadelphia Liberty SAR PHI

- Season 27 Ultimus Champion – Sarasota Sailfish
- 5 Seasons Played
- 304 Pancakes [27th]
- 17 Sacks Allowed

Stallworth played a pretty average career for the Sailfish and Liberty but his longevity as well as Sarasota’s Season 27 Ultimus boost him up the rankings. His overall ranking of 33rd is just 6 places lower then his overall ranking of 33rd, this is the result of Stallworth high number of sacks he allowed throughout the career.

32nd: Mat Akselsen [104.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 1, Pick 35
Teams Played for: Yellowknife Wraiths YKW

- Season 1 Pro Bowler
- Season 2 Pro Bowler
- Season 3 Pro Bowler
- 3 Seasons Played
- 178 Pancakes [49th]
- 11 Sacks Allowed

Akselsen was also one of the greatest lineman of the original generation, racking up a Pro Bowl in the first 3 seasons in the league’s history. He’s greater amount of pancakes compared to Floggity and as well as allowing fewer sacks leads to Akselsen landing at 32nd on this list, 2 places above similar OG Floggity.

31st: Brent Silva [106.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 73
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- 5 Seasons Played
- 261 Pancakes [35th]
- 5 Sacks Allowed

Silva was a part of the Outlaws offensive line that was all human in the late 20’s seasons. He played at a decent level, picking up a Pro Bowl in Season 30. Limiting his sacks allowed, kept him at this point in the list but the lack of further awards or accolades limit Silva from getting into the Top 30.

30th: Greedy Sly [119.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 1
Teams Played for: Colorado Yeti COL

- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- 3 Seasons Played
- 287 Pancakes [30th]
- 2 Sacks Allowed

Greedy Sly only had a short career as an Offensive Lineman but it was above average, almost averaging 100 pancakes a season and only allowing 2 sacks over a 3 year period. Sly also picked up 2 Pro Bowl honours during this period. He also finishes in the same position on the pancake ranking as he does in the overall ranking, 30th.

29th: Dorfus Jimbo Jr. [120 Points]
Drafted: Season 21, Pick 8
Teams Played for: New Orleans Second Line, Colorado Yeti NOLA COL

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- 7 Seasons Played
- 430 Pancakes [15th
- 28 Sacks Allowed

Its scorp, one of the most interesting OL’s in recent history. Scorp for the majority of his early career was quite terrible but it turned around in the tailend of his career, culminating in an appearance at the Pro Bowl in Season 29. At the end of it all, Jimbo Junior has top 15 pancakes but allowing one of the most sacks of all time seems him drop down from that position to his final position of 29th.

28th: Benson Bayley Jr. [123 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 21
Teams Played for: Chicago Butchers CHI

- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- 6 Seasons Played
- 345 Pancakes [22nd]
- 8 Sacks Allowed

Bayley, the TSwizzle fan makes the list at 28. Benson had an average career but their longevity boosted them up the ranking overall and on the pancake chart. Landing at 22nd on the list, Bayley just misses out on the Top 20 all time in pancakes. The lack of further accolades aside from the Season 24 Pro Bowl push Benson down the list to 28th.

27th: Stumpy Jones [126 Points]
Drafted: Season 28, Pick 18
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish SAR

- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Ultimus Champion – Sarasota Sailfish
- 3 Seasons Played
- 305 Pancakes [26th]
- 9 Sacks Allowed

Stumpy has had a great start to his career so far, averaging over 100 pancakes a season. He also picked up a Pro Bowl and Ultimus in Season 30. Due to just starting his career, he doesn’t have the ability to place himself further up this list by Stumpy should be on the minds of everyone for the future of this list and the all time pancake ranking.

26th: Dick Thruster [128.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 12
Teams Played for: Colorado Yeti COL

- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- 502 Pancakes [9th]
- 35 Sacks Allowed

Thruster has a career similar to Dorfus Jimbo Junior. Quite a few pancakes and a hell of a lot of sacks. Thruster allowed the most amount of sacks in league history but pancaked enough defenders along the way to end up in the top 10 all time for pancakes. The high pancakes sees him place high on the list but the lack of accolades and all the sacks allowed see him placed 26th, down 17 places from his pancake ranking of 9th.

25th: Ananda Adyan [130.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 37
Teams Played for: Berlin Fire Salamanders BER

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- 5 Seasons Played
- 321 Pancakes [24th]
- 9 Sacks Allowed

Adyan spent most of his career on the interior of the Salamanders offensive line. He picked up Pro Bowl honours when the award system changed but overall did not set the league on fire. His consistency and average sacks allowed just sneak him into the Top 25 all time.

24th: Thad Pennington Jr. [130.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 24, Pick 41
Teams Played for: Sarasota Sailfish SAR

- Season 27 Ultimus Champion – Sarasota Sailfish
- Season 30 Ultimus Champion – Sarasota Sailfish
- 6 Seasons Played
- 417 Pancakes [16th]
- 16 Sacks Allowed

Pennington Jr was a part of the two greatest moment in Sailfish history, their Ultimus Championships in Season 27 and Season 30. Pennington play averagely throughout his career, averaging just under 70 pancakes a season throughout his career. He allowed quite a few sacks dropping him down the list.

22nd: Jaja Ding Dong [134.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 26, Pick 28
Teams Played for: San Jose Sabercats SJS

- Season 28 Pro Bowl
- Season 29 Pro Bowl
- 3 Seasons Played
- 412 Pancakes [17th]
- 6 Sacks Allowed

Jaja is a trailblazer. He was the first Sabercat Offensive Lineman since the introduction of Offensive Line Bots. Originally a Tight End, Jaja then became an OL. He played amazing well in his 3 seasons so far, including setting the single season Pancake record at 140. Jaja should absolutely rise up this list in the future and will be great to watch in the future.

22nd: Marc Hamel [134.2 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 58
Teams Played for: New York Silverbacks NYS

- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Ultimus Champion – New York Silverbacks
- 5 Seasons Played
- 477 Pancakes [12th]
- 20 Sacks Allowed

Hamel has had a decent first half to his career, averaging around the 95 pancake make per season. The high points so far have been a Pro Bowl appearance in Season 26 and an Ultimus in Season 29. His pancakes so far leave him just outside the top 10 all time in pancakes, sitting him in 12th. However the 20 sacks allowed, one of the most in league history, limit the lengths Hamel can climb on this ranking.

21st: Future Trunks [135.6 Points]
Drafted: Season 21, Pick 23
Teams Played for: Orange County Otters OCO

- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- 4 Seasons Played
- 356 Pancakes [21st]
- 2 Sacks Allowed

Originally a wide receiver, Trunks moved to the Offensive Line in te latter half of his career, spending 4 seasons at the position. Lining up at the tackle position for Orange County, Trunks picked up a couple of Pro Bowls along the way. He also allowed only 2 sacks over this time. His pancake numbers accurate reflect his overall position, both 21st.

20th: Alexander Franklin [135.7 Points]
Drafted: Season 26, Pick 8
Teams Played for: Chicago Butchers, Philadelphia Liberty CHI PHI

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowlers
- 4 Seasons Played
- 402 Pancakes [18th]
- 8 Sacks Allowed

Originally drafted by the Chicago Butchers, Alexander Franklin played 1 season in the windy city before fleeing to a city appropriate for his name, Philadelphia. In his time in Philadelphia so far, Franklin has racked up multiple Pro Bowls as well as averaging over 100 pancakes a season. He’s high single digit sacks allowed drop him a couple of spots but Franklin makes the top 20 all time and will surely go up throughout the rest of his career.

19th: Marlon Alexander [136.5 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 80
Teams Played for: New York Silverbacks NYS

- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Ultimus Champion [New York Silverbacks]
- 5 Seasons Played
- 325 Pancakes [23rd]
- 12 Sacks Allowed

Marlon picked up several rewards and accolades throughout his time in the league so far. Alexander has been help back with his double digit sack number and averaging under 70 pancakes a season. A mixed bag so far but decent numbers see him sneek into the top 20 of offensive lineman all time.

18th: Felix Archstone [136.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 6
Teams Played for: Baltimore Hawks, Austin Copperheads BAL AUS

- Season 26 Pro Bowl
- Season 29 Pro Bowl
- 5 Seasons Played
- 373 Pancakes [20th]
- 9 Sacks Allowed

Similar to Alexander Franklin, Felix Archstone played 1 season for the team that drafted him before moving on, this team as a result of the management shuffle that occurred within the Baltimore Hawks. Archstone’s season in Baltimore was great, picking up Pro Bowl honours at the end of the season. His time in Austin has been less successful, picking up only the single honour throughout the several season Felix played on this line. His pancake tally of 20th is only 2 places off his actual ranking of 19th.

17th: Icebox Riposte [160.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 24, Pick 13
Teams Played for: Chicago Butchers CHI

- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- 6 Seasons Played
- 481 Pancakes [11th]
- 5 Sacks Allowed

Icebox was one of the first examples of the changing perception of OL in regards to the draft, being the 1st pick of the 2nd second round in season 24. He has played an above average career in Chicago, picking up 2 Pro Bowl honours throughout the period. Riposte currently stands just outside the top 10 in regards to career pancakes but the lack of accolades see him miss out on the Top 15 overall.

16th: Connor Quigley [163.3 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 60
Teams Played for: Austin Copperheads AUS

- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- 5 Seasons Played
- 473 Pancakes [13th]
- 10 Sacks Allowed

Quigley started off his career with a bang with the Austin Copperheads, picking up 3 consecutive Pro Bowls in his first 3 seasons in the big league. After that, the accolades stopped but the pancakes continued, leading to Quigley ending at 13th on the list of most pancakes of all time. The accolades drying up and allowing double digit sacks see Quigley end up only 16th on this list.

15th: Ne Mo [165 Points]
Drafted: Season 24, Pick 22
Teams Played for: Orange County Otters OCO

- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- 6 Seasons Played
- 465 Pancakes [14th]
- 12 Sacks Allowed

Ne Mo has very similar career stats and records to Connor Quigley, who placed one position below Ne Mo on this list. Both have 3 Pro Bowl’s, double digit sacks and are ranked 13th and 14th in the all time pancake list. The main difference between them is the extra season played by Ne Mo which moved him above Quigley on this list. Ne Mo picked up Pro Bowls at both ends of his career.

14th: Laszlo Forty-Two [170.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 16, Pick 3
Teams Played for: Yellowknife Wraiths YKW

- Season 22 Pro Bowler
- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 23 Ultimus Champion [Yellowknife Wraiths]
- Season 22 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- 3 Seasons Played
- 264 Pancakes [34th]
- 1 Sack Allowed

Lazslo is a very interesting character in Offensive Line history. While players like Rubbe and Beaver-Dantes built up their careers, Forty-Two become an Offensive Lineman at the peak of his career, showing the league what a high level OL could do in the league. The results? 3 Seasons, 3 Pro Bowls, a Championship and OLOTY, an amazing resume. The only reason Laszlo is 14th is that he only played 3 seasons at the position.

13th: Brave Ulysses [174.8 Points]
Drafted: Season 15, Pick 38
Teams Played for: New Orleans Second Line NOLA

- Season 19 Pro Bowler ** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 20 Pro Bowler ** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 22 Pro Bowler
- Season 21 Ultimus Champion [New Orleans Second Line]
- Season 19 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- 5 Seasons Played
- 258 Pancakes [37th]
- 5 Sacks Allowed

As part of the duo with Rubbe, Ulysses set the path for Offensive Lineman to resurge into the public eye and become a notable position in the league. Ulysses was the quieter part of the duo but he still picks up 3 Pro Bowls, an Ultimus and an OLOTY, a great career. The only thing holding him back from cranking into the top 10 is a lower longevity compared to others and only averaging 50 pancakes a season.

12th: Julio Jones [195.7 Points]
Drafted: Season 23, Pick 15
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws, Chicago Butchers ARI CHI

- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- 7 Seasons Played
- 627 Pancakes [7th]
- 6 Sacks Allowed

Julio Jones was often a forgotten man in the current generation of offensive lineman. He was never the best, but he was always up there. An average of just under 90 pancakes a season see him finish 7th all time in Pancakes which boosts Jones up the rankings against his lack of accolades.

11th: Doug Quail [202.3 Points]
Drafted: Season 21, Pick 46
Teams Played for: Orange County Otters, New York Silverbacks, Yellowknife Wraiths OCO NYS  YKW

- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Ultimus Champion [Yellowknife Wraiths]
- Season 25 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- 7 Seasons Played
- 383 Pancakes [19th]
- 9 Sacks Allowed

Another forgotten main in this era of Offensive Line, Doug Quail, played for 3 teams and racked up accolades for each of them. 2 Pro Bowls for Orange County, A Pro Bowl and OLOTY for New York and finishing off with a championship with Yellowknife. The lower pancake numbers see Quail fail to make the top 10 but for someone who was rarely the main OL, Quail left his mark on the ISFL.

10th: Simon Tremblay [231.3 Points]
Drafted: Season 21, Pick 25
Teams Played for: Philadelphia Liberty PHI

- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- 8 Seasons Played
- 708 Pancakes [6th]
- 14 Sacks Allowed

Simon Tremblay :simon: , another one of the bridesmaids that seem to fill this section of the leader board. He picked up 5 Pro Bowls at the start of his career and almost averaged 90 pancakes a season, he just never achieved the OLOTY or Championship he always wanted. A few too many sacks allowed as well as missing those accolades see Simon drop from his pancake ranking of 6th to his overall ranking of 10th.

9th: Tim Pest [245.4 Points]
Drafted: Season 2, Pick 3
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 2 Pro Bowler
- Season 3 Pro Bowler
- Season 4 Pro Bowler ** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 1 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- Season 2 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- Season 3 Ultimus Champion [Arizona Outlaws]
- Season 2 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- Season 3 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- Season 4 Offensive Lineman of The Year ** [Awarded by Me]
- 4 Seasons Played
- 269 Pancakes [32nd]
- 13 Sacks Allowed

That is a lot of accolades for Tim Pest but it isn’t even enough to put him as the best Offensive Lineman in the first generation of OL. Throughout his 4 seasons in the league he had 3 Pro Bowls, 3 Championships and 3 OLOTY. The lack of pancakes see Pest end up in the back half of the Top 10. This resume only landing Pest 9th shows the amazing lineman left to come through this list.

8th: Calvin Golladay [248.6 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 40
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws ARI

- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- 9 Seasons Played
- 721 Pancakes [4th]
- 19 Sacks Allowed

Golladay started off his career in the shadows but once Bruce Buckley left the team, he transformed into one of the greatest Offensive Lineman in the league. 4 Straight Pro Bowls along with an OLOTY make Golladay one of the greatest to play the position in the modern era. 4th all time in Pancakes also show this. Allowing almost 20 sacks allowed does see him not quite reach his maximum potential but Calvin goes down as one of the greats.

7th: Adam Mellott [256.3 Points]
Drafted: Season 25, Pick 19
Teams Played for: New Orleans Second Line NOLA

- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- Season 30 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- Season 30 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- 6 Seasons Played
- 538 Pancakes [8th]
- 4 Sacks Allowed

Mellott is the most modern player in the Top 10, having a handful of seasons on the next best. He has had 5 seasons so far and has produced 4 Pro Bowls and 2 OLOTY. One of the greatest starts to a career so far and with his peak and regression still to come, could Mellott make a serious charge up this list to the top 5 or even further?

6th: Byron Dolls [259.1 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 33
Teams Played for: Baltimore Hawks, Berlin Fire Salamanders BAL  BER

- Season 22 Pro Bowler
- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- 9 Seasons Played
- 741 Pancakes [3rd]
- 11 Sacks Allowed

Byron Dolls has had a great career but it just hasn’t reached the greatest peaks possible. Getting 6 Pro Bowls but no OLOTY limits Byron to 6th on this list. He did get the 3rd most Pancakes of all time but his lack of OLOTY’s and Championships limit his point earning potential, however 6th place shows that Dolls is one of the best to ever do it.

5th: Angus Winchester [270.5 Points]
Drafted: Season 1, Pick 25
Teams Played for: Orange County Otters OCO

- Season 1 Pro Bowler
- Season 2 Pro Bowler
- Season 3 Pro Bowler
- Season 1 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- Season 1 Offensive Player of the Year
- Season 1 Most Outstanding Player
- ISFL Hall of Famer [Played 3/12 Seasons as OL]
- 3 Seasons Played
- 190 Pancakes [46th]
- 3 Sacks Allowed

Angus Winchester’s season 1 performance might not be the greatest numerically but when you consider the accolades, it is the greatest offensive lineman season of all time. He picked up the OLOTY, Offensive Player of the Year and Most Outstanding Player all in the same season. These accolades rocket Angus up the leader board to 5th and a position on the Greatest Offensive Line of all time. He only averaged 63 pancakes a season but the accolades boost him into the Top 5 all time.

4th: Mo ‘Mamba’ Magic [275.7 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 8
Teams Played for: Colorado Yeti, Chicago Butchers COL  CHI

- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Pro Bowler
- Season 29 Offensive Lineman of the Year
- 9 Seasons Played
- 717 Pancakes [5th]
- 6 Sacks Allowed

Mamba Magic was originally drafted as a defensive lineman in the renowned Season 22 Draft Class, but became an Offensive Lineman in his 3rd year as a pro. This change was huge for Mamba as they picked up 5 Pro Bowls and a OLOTY in their first 6 seasons at the position. Decent Accolades, A great amount of pancakes and few sacks allowed see Mamba end up 4th all time. The one thing that Mamba didn’t quite get was a championship, which could’ve boosted him into the podium places but 4th is still a tremendous effort.

3rd: Edmond Beaver-Dantes [290 Points]
Drafted: Season 15, Pick 32
Teams Played for: Austin Copperheads AUS

- Season 16 Pro Bowler** [Awarded By Me]
- Season 17 Pro Bowler** [Awarded By Me]
- Season 18 Pro Bowler** [Awarded By Me]
- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 20 Ultimus Champion [Austin Copperheads]
- Season 16 Offensive Lineman of The Year ** [Awarded By Me]
- Season 17 Offensive Lineman of The Year ** [Awarded By Me]
- Season 18 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- 9 Seasons Played
- 495 Pancakes [10th]
- 22 Sacks Allowed

EBD, the Beaver from Beaver. The 3rd greatest Offensive Lineman of all time. Beaver-Dantes is a beneficiary of the system implemented by me to award Pro Bowls and OLOTY when they weren’t given out otherwise. With my system, EBD has 4 Pro Bowls and 3 OLOTY when previously he only had 1 of each. Playing in an era of fewer pancakes sees Beaver limit his potential of cracking the top 2 as well as allowing over 20 sacks throughout his career. Beaver Dantes can now place a lot more on his mantle then what he had and it is something that he deserved.

2nd: Bruce Buckley [377.9 Points]
Drafted: Season 22, Pick 39
Teams Played for: Arizona Outlaws, Yellowknife Wraiths ARI  YKW

- Season 22 Pro Bowler
- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 26 Pro Bowler
- Season 27 Pro Bowler
- Season 28 Pro Bowler
- Season 26 Ultimus Champion [Yellowknife Wraiths]
- Season 28 Ultimus Champion [Yellowknife Wraiths]
- Season 23 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- Season 26 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- 9 Seasons Played
- 889 Pancakes [1st]
- 3 Sacks Allowed

Bruce Buckley, the man behind this article and one of the greatest offensive lineman of all time. He racked up 7 Straight Pro Bowl’s from his debut season and it required unjust rules for this streak to end. He also picked up 2 OLOTY’s and 2 Ultimus’ to add to his extraordinary resume. His pancake tally is something extremely crazy, leading 2nd place all time by over 150 pancakes. Where Buckley ends up in his career is a question mark but its almost certain that he winds up in the hall of fame, as the 2nd full time OL in history to make it, who’s the first though?

1st: Givussafarre Rubbe [384.5 Points]
Drafted: Season 18, Pick 34
Teams Played for: New Orleans Second Line, Chicago Butchers NOLA  CHI

- Season 19 Pro Bowler** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 20 Pro Bowler** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 21 Pro Bowler** [Awarded by Me]
- Season 22 Pro Bowler
- Season 23 Pro Bowler
- Season 24 Pro Bowler
- Season 25 Pro Bowler
- Season 21 Ultimus Champion [New Orleans Second Line]
- Season 20 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- Season 21 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- Season 24 Offensive Lineman of The Year
- 11 Seasons Played
- 745 Pancakes [2nd]
- 11 Sacks Allowed

Here we have it, the greatest Offensive Lineman of All time as of Season 30, he is the icon, the leader and the legend of the OL. Rubbe has 7 Pro Bowls, 3 OLOTY and an Ultimus. He has played the most seasons of any OL and has the second most pancakes in league history. Rubbe will become the first full time OL to make the ISFL hall of fame and should break more barriers for OL in this regard. Any Quarterback or Running Back feels safe with Rubbe watching their blind side and only old age saw his downfall. Rubbe will stay in legend.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conclusion

There we have, the Offensive Lineman have been ranked from 130 odd to 1, with Givussafarre Rubbe coming out on top [As of Season 30]. In the future, I will update this list with ranking and we will see what the future odds and who will remain the greatest offensive lineman of all time!

I do have plans to run a simialr article for quarterbacks!
