In Dormire, Juan Domine - Yeenoghu - 02-02-2022
Chicago Butchers linebacker Juan Domine announced his retirement from the ISFL after ten seasons on Thursday, ending a storied career in which he became a household name for Butchers faithful.
"After spending a lot of time thinking about my ISFL future, I have made a decision to retire #isflsim" Domine said in a statement he posted on Twitter. "Despite what those clowns on the Internet think, I could continue playing, but I can tell that my performance on the field isn't what it once was. I am happy to retire after a 10-year career wearing only one jersey, and now it can finally be washed."
Domine spent his entire career with the organization, amassing over 100 sacks and breaking numerous franchise records. His most successful season came in 2045, when he became one of only five players since the ISFL merger to eclipse the 20-sack mark en route to a Defensive Player of the Year award.
According to Jim Nox of SET, Domine has not yet decided on his post-ISFL career goals and intends to spend the coming weeks vacationing in Romania.
