Hello and welcome to shinigami news. Your international news broadcasting station. The weather has been pretty wild in parts of the US east coast have been battered by raging hurricane conditions and heavy rainfall, sparking transport chaos and power cuts for thousands of local citizens. The entire east coast had declared a state of emergency. High rainfall and extremely high winds blasted the area all this weekend and we predict that it will continue into this week. Some areas of North Carolina have seen as much as 11ft  of rain, with locals told to leave the state while they still can. Nearly 10,000 US flights were cancelled across the weekend, with conditions expected to worsen this coming week. Forecasters warn flooding will remain a problem throughout much of the east coast with the hurricane set to move on to the state of Maine continuing into Canada with calmer conditions. The storm, known as a Kiren, has hit parts of North Carolina and Virginia with heavy rainfall, coastal flooding. The city of Raleigh got 20in of rain on Saturday. Reaching an all time new record for the city. By Saturday night, more than 500,000 homes in the state of North Carolina were without electricity and flooded. Cape Cod was one of the worst hit regions, with every person losing power on Saturday. Coastal storm surge flooding was also reported in Washington as well as Greenville. Local meteorologist Shisa Lyair told the Shinigami news the sheer volume of rain was a problem, with up to 11ft of rainfall each hour at one point. The National Weather Service (NWS) warned the states of the upcoming weather but the state of emergency’s were issued to late for some states. The powerful storm began to hit the country's coast in the early hours of Saturday morning, with millions of residents urged to leave their homes seeking refuge in the inner states. Parts of New York state saw 5ft of rain, with people scrounging to leave the state. Seems that it has been complete chaos on the east coast.

In other news the tragic murder of Maria Armstrong came as a whole to all of us. Mother of Derrick Armstrong ISFL rookie player.

Local homicide detectives announced Saturday that DNA and fingerprint technology led to the discovery of Maria’s murder. Currently there are no known suspects as to who murdered her. A local, Ligma  balls, was taking her daily run through the park at about  1 p.m EST. 27 January, 2022 in the west brook gardens of 1st Place. Discovering Maria’s body in an shallow grave Ligma said. At the time of the murder, an extensive investigation was conducted by PTSD homicide unit. Detectives and all leads were exhausted. Still continuing the search with now leads. Forensic evidence left at the crime scene was resubmitted for examination after it seems that someone was tampering with the evidence. DNA and
fingerprint evidence still haven’t come up with any matches. They are using any means to find out what happened with Maria.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call detectives at 666-123-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).

I’m sure that Derrick is absolutely devastated by the news. I wonder how it will effect his upcoming games. Not to sure what the season has in store for him now. Let’s just hope that his team can motivate and support him through this trying time.

We’re gonna take a quick commercial break but we’ll be back with more DSFL news.
