With a heavy heart, I'm announcing the retirement of my player Anthony Stark. This league just doesn't feel the same anymore, and unfortunately my everyday life has become so busy that I don't think I can put in any more effort.
I'll go into character one last time to get a little extra cash in case I ever come back:
- Mr. Stark, is it true that you are leaving the ISFL for good?
"Its as official as its gonna get. I've never felt so betrayed since that time Captain Rogers broke up the Avengers...Ok fine, I'll take some of the blame on that one. But for this, I had a rift with team management a couple players. I was fully in the right of course, but I'll be the better man and say I'm sorry. Bondi Beach was fine but its in Australia, who wants to live there? They lost a war to Emus. I'm not using the Iron Man suit to fight birds."
- Anthony, what would it take for you to come back?
"A 230 million dollar fully guaranteed contract would be nice. I heard a serial sexual assaulter was able to get that much, I think a guy like me that has actually saved people deserves at least that."
- Last question, to the rest of the league, can you tell them what the date is today?
"Today is April 1st. Also known as April Fools Day. None of what I just said is true. You all just got fooled. I'm not going anywhere!"
