*Getting ready for the first game - Ulaire - 04-08-2022

Akaki Akarye got signed on waivers for Kansas City Coyotes, starting his professional football career. Athletic linebacker out of NY hopes to bring some physicality for the playoff team. He was a defense leader in his college team, and he definitely wants to claim this role in professional league too. But after seeing his teammates in gym and on training field he has some doubts that he is truly ready for this. But that only makes Akaki works harder on his rookie duties, cause he needs to show that he can play on the next level.
For his team with coming playoffs all the next games are important for playoff seeding and possibility of winning it all. It remains to be seen if rookie will respond to this pressure the right way.
For becoming a better player he seeks mentoring from game veterans. Akarye was told by GM to work on his playing speed, his strength and his tackling. Learning new defensive scheme should be not so hard for a player with his football IQ. In the locker room he is still quite and humbled, possibly overwhelmed by all the new info, but he is sure that he can leave a mark in this league.
Akaki is grateful for his family that supported his dream to become a professional athlete through ups and downs of his college career, and its really important for him not to bring them down. Lets wish this young linebacker some luck!
